I went to the Verizon on 5599 Spectpum Dr in frederick for the first time oh my goodness the worse customer service I ever had. The only one working I guess he didn't want to be there so he took it out on me I walk out of that store and I will never go back!!! He did nothing to help me and I mean NOTHING at all, the only thing he said to me was call custom service call custom service and I can tell you from experience they are not much better. No star from me!

They contacted me to pretend they were going to investigate and fix the issue. I haven't heard back in weeks. What a joke.

The staff is young and clueless. Dumb as stumps. A folding chair would have been more helpful.

Thankfully because the height was short there was no pixel damage, the screen had normal responsiveness, and otherwise the iPad appeared to function normally. I work long hours so had the iPad at home for 4 days prior to bringing it to Techy, June 26. Bringing it in they told me it would be 189.99 for the screen repair and with taxes that came out to just above $200. I probably should have walked away at this point but hindsight is 20/20 and they said it would be done within a day or 2 and i was going on vacation the following week so just wanted the work done. Plus on Google reviews they had a 5 star rating with a decent number of reviews so I decided to go through with the work. So they called me and said it was done the same day i brought it in. Unfortunately I was already at work so came to pick it up the next day (Day 2). They said during their testing that the screen kept turning on and off (this didn't happen before I brought it in and like I mentioned I had it for 4 days broken before bringing it in) so they would need another day to fix the problem. No problem. Thankfully I live close by. They call later that day and say it's done. Again I'm at work so have to wait until the next day. Next day (Day 3) comes and I get a call that it isn't charging so they need another day. Next day (Day 4, June 30) comes and this is what I pick up. Mind you there was never any crack or damage to the button. I wish I had taken a picture of what the broken screen looked like prior but unfortunately I didnt. When questioning them about it they said they had to reseat the button multiple times and this is unfortunately the best they could do. The button is loose in the seating plus a visible gap so I'm sure all kinds of dust and debris will get inside. Also the previous button has Touch ID capabilities and this new one does not. The worst part is that there is a warranty on the screen if it stops working but I asked about if the button is covered under the warranty and it of course isn't. I also noticed some small cracks that look to be under the new screen. They don't seem to impact the functionality of the screen and is just more a cosmetic defect so im not as worried about that. Plus if the screen stops functioning due to a tech issue that's at least covered. I'm devastated. I expected much better quality work for $200. I feel like I got scammed. The one good point is all the staff was very nice and professional. The visible appearance of the shop is nice and clean. I want to clarify I am not unhappy with the time it took for them to do the work just the overall quality of work and price together. I have no problem if you need extra time to do good work. Update: July 27th the button has completely stopped working. So less than a month. I also have noticed that I've had issues accessing my sons Apple ID which has me very concerned and this wasn't a problem prior. I don't even want to take it back to have them potentially ruin it more so here I am with a broken iPad out $200 with a potential security issue.

Turns out that was a really wise decision! Because I had an issue with my name not being on my wife's account, I was a bit of a challenge to serve to get a new phone, and ended up being handed off twice to other agents, while the issue was being resolved offsite. Eventually, a gentleman named Stefan helped me out for the remainder of the transaction, which took quite a while, as I had problems remembering a password I needed to know to get into my iCloud. Fortunately, he was very patient. And then, with a little help from up above, I was able to guess/remember my password and we were able to get into the system. Stefan then spend a lot more time with me getting me straight before I left the store. Trust me, I was very thankful. But, again, the patience, professionalism, courtesy, and kindness displayed by all of the employees at this location was unparalleled. Normally, I might have become impatient with so many challenges. But feeling as though I was in very good hands, I was able to remain calm myself, and actually enjoyed the process. I would not hesitate to go back to this store next time I have the need for T-Mobile services. 5 stars!

I tried two different charging cords, both of which worked on another iPad with no problem, but the bolt would either not appear at all or it would appear and then quickly disappear right after I let go of the cord. I thought maybe there was a blockage of some sort in the port, though I'm pretty careful with my iPad. I tried gently cleaning out the port using a qtip with the cotton pulled out a bit, thinking that I didn't want to damage anything inside the port. I even watched a video of a guy pulling apart an iPad to re-solder the port, but I thought, there's no way we want to tackle THAT. Nothing worked, and I was resigned to having to get another iPad. My husband and I hopped up to the AT&T store on West Patrick in Frederick, MD, and right away we were greeted by Brian. I explained that we were there for a new iPad because my charging port wasn't working, and I had tried everything but to no avail. He nodded, said, "Got it," and went to get a tiny little tool that resembled a flat metal key. He poked around in the port, scraping at the metal part inside that, and I thought, what harm can he do because I'm getting another one anyway? WELL, IT WORKED AFTER THAT. Yes, REALLY. He took an iPad charging cord, plugged it in, and darned if that bolt didn't come right up and start recharging the iPad!WHAT KIND OF SORCERY WAS THAT?! Brian, you DA MAN!!! Thank you a million times over, and when I *do* need a new iPad, you're going to get my business!

I have called customer service countless times, gone into the store, and sent emails to get this sorted out. All anyone can tell me is that the fraud department has to handle it. Of course, they won't connect me to anyone in the fraud department. I have heard I'll have to wait anywhere from 24 hours to a week for them to get in touch with me. In the meantime one rep actually suggested that I get a pay as you go phone if it's that big of deal! As a brand new customer you would think T-Mobile would do a little more to improve my experience! You would think that someone from T-Mobiles fraud department would contact me as promised! I am at a complete loss of what to do. A friend, who knows I switched told me she didn't think I was getting the texts she sent, I told her I certainly hadn't since my service was suspended. Ironically, she told me her husband has been trying to get her to switch to T-Mobile, I just laughed and told her I wouldn't recommend it. So, there are 5 more lines they won't even getting. In all, this has been the absolute worst experience I have had with a cell carrier and I wouldn't recommend them to anyone!!! Once my contract is up (or maybe even before) I will be taking my business elsewhere and recommending the same to EVERYONE I know!!!
