If Yelp would allow it I would give this store 0 stars! A customer of over 2 decades and this disrespect I get from the employees is astounding. I have always had great customer service with Verizon, especially if you call in to customer service. However this store is absolutely the worst store I've ever been to in my life. I ordered a phone online and was instructed to pick up phone from store in Clackamas, Oregon. I waited 2+ hours. Then drove to Clackamas Location 8612 SE Sunnyside Rd.). After driving an hour and half across town, I was greeted by a frumpy, uninterested Verizon Employee. He "checked" me in and introduced me to the Manager on Duty (She said she was the Manager). After she instructed me that my order was incomplete, she said I would have to drive home to complete the purchase. I asked if she could help me while I was in the store and I had driven 27 miles to get there and 1 1/2 hours trip. She was disinterested. I said "That I would like to pick up my phone right now while I was there". She said that she would not help me with my purchase. After I asked another employee if they would help me. She instructed me to leave the store. I ask why I was being mistreated and not assisted. She threatened to call the police on me. Just then an employee named "Justin" got in my face and verbally threatened me to leave the store. At this point, fearing for my safety, I proceeded to call *661 to talk to Verizon Corporate about this store's activities. I am a very longtime customer and was completely offended by the candor of your employee(s) and their Manager. I will seek my attorney's council to what recourse I could follow on your Store and your Employees. BTW: I never was able to complete my Purchase of my iPhone 7. I am considering cancelling my order plus my two other lines and going to T Mobile. Don't go to this store if you want "Customer Service". It's true, this store is very busy. We went in on the weekend and were not told to check in, so after 20 minutes they finally took our names and then said someone would be with us "soon". We waited 40 more minutes and finally had to leave to get to an appointment. So we tried again during the week. The wait was not as bad this time, but the entire experience was reminiscent of a pushy, dishonest car sales pitch. We just wanted to upgrade to a smart phone, and it seemed simple enough. We were surprised by a few charges they sprung on us, but it we were still willing to go through with it. We paid and signed and then... "Oh, wait! Your price is actually going to be an additional $10 a month for no reason! That's okay, right?" Well at this point we decided not to even do it, and they made us sit there for another hour while they tried to "find us a deal" (which we told them REPEATEDLY we were NOT interested in, we just wanted to get the heck out of there!) and then another 30 minutes while they tried to reverse the charges. They finally let us go, but they couldn't put the $35 "restocking fee" back on our card, so we get a Verizon credit for next month instead. Great. Please avoid this location AT ALL COSTS! read more

I bought 3 new items, the clerk was training a new employee which caused extra confusion. In the end, I was not told the new phone numbers for the equipment just purchased. One is for a person in Seattle, so needed to have a 425 prefix, called customer service when I got home, obviously got some poor girl who didn't know anything, but did change the 971 prefix to a Washington prefix but charged me $15 to do it? Now both the old 971 and the new 425 number on BOTH on my bill. EGADS, it's a 25 miles trip ONE way to drive back into the Clackamas store to have "Philip" resolve this mess....I'll wait until after T Day....but I am not happy with mis information. At least one gal on the customer service phone was smart enough to realize I needed to upgrade the "unlimited data plan" to get the discount for auto pay...why wasn't I told that in the store???? Then my preview of my next bill is a total mess, so back into the store next week to talk to "Philip" (RED beard) as someone else called him. And hopefully he will get it straightened out. Obviously they have a huge turnover in help, so if you are unfortunate to get a NEW one, good luck, you know more than they do.....it's frustrating for the amount of money you pay. We too have to have Verizon since it's the only phone company that gets out high in the Eastern Oregon mountains. Wish there were more options, so far, NOT. read more

Of all the Verizon stores I have been to, this store has the worst customer service. Wait times range between 30 minutes and an hour. One this last visit, I arrived to find 6 customers in the store (I was number 6). There were 6 staff on shift of which 3 were waiting on customers, 1 was checking people in and the other two were standing around not waiting on anyone. when I asked how long the wait would be after waiting 20 minutes, I was told that there were 2 people a head of me and that the person directly in front of me had been waiting for 15 minutes before I arrived. This staff person was belligerent and rude. When I voiced an objection the other 2 staff members that had been standing around, decided to actually do some work and wait on customers. Once I was waited on (all I wanted to do was upgrade), I was barraged with 10 minutes of attempted up-selling. The staff at this stores need some strict lessons in efficiency and in customer service. read more

If you think getting to this Verizon store right before they open will help you beat the crowds, think again. When I arrived, there was already a line at the front door. Don't get me wrong, once I finally got helped, the service was on the money, but here's why I gave it 2 stars... There were about 3 sales people on the floor helping customers, and several more customers (including myself) waiting for our names to be called. Two Verizon employees were just standing there, doing nothing. Apparently one guy is only responsible for checking people in. That's all he does. Even if there is nobody to left to check in. He just stands there, staring into space, holding his iPad, while 5 customers are waiting to be helped. The second employee just stood by the registers with a clipboard. Finally a customer went up to him and said "are you helping anyone?" and the employee said "no, I just supervise activity on the floor." Really guy? You have 5 people waiting, some obviously more frustrated than others, and you're just going to stand there to supervise what's going on? It was truly baffling. I understand if your job is to check people in or to supervise, but when there's no one to check in and nothing to supervise, how about you jump in and help out?!? read more

This was my first visit to this store, waited about 20 minutes for service. My reason for coming in was to switch from at&t to Verizon. Adam helped me and was very knowledgeable and polite. He took time to explain all options and help my find a plan that worked. He also helped my father transfer all his info from his old phone to the new one. Excellent customer service. read more

I have been with verizon 13 years, I always get wonderful customer service when I call, I am ready for upgrade but wanted to look at phones first. So went to the verizon store waited 20min and was told to come back tomorrow when my contract was up. I said " bull" I was just on the phone with them a week ago and they said they would up grade me because I had been with them so long. And were ready to send me a new phone. I am extremely impressed with the staff at this location. I believe the reviews for this location are unfair. I have been in this location 3 times over the past 2 months and haven't had any issues. They do have wait times but the wait is well worth it. Never waited more than 10 minutes. If you are educated as a customer and back up your own info that will help eliminate the waits. These guys were all super friendly, knew what they were talking about and genuine. Won't go anywhere else! read more

Totally useless store. I spent 7 hours on the phone with Verizon over the weekend with a problem with the software on my phone. I was unable to download photos from the phone because the Samsung 7 phone was not recognized by my computer. They spent hours trying to help...even sending me to Samsung in Asia. No one could help. Finally someone suggested I backup to google cloud. However they forgot to say, turn it off when done. My phone went from 1.5 gigs of usage to 9.4 gigs. Verizon was good enough to provide some credits to cover that....but it still proceed to move up and then turn off my data usage so that I could not use my phone in my store to charge customers for product. So I went to this actual Verizon store, and the woman stiff armed me..."nothing we can do...you'll have to call technical." She didn't seem to even give a damn. So I spent another 2 1/2 hours today. trying to get some satisfactory local support at Costco where I bought it, and at an actual Verizon store. I came home, and called Technical supports. Got some woman named Latisha who indicated that there was nothing she could do except to move me up to a higher data usage plan. Every tech person I spoke with, said not to do that. They just credited my account because this was not my problem. She would not listen to me and was just giving me the standard lines. I finally lost it and said she obviously had not read all the 7 hours of comments and was just giving me a flippant answer. This is my last contract with Verizon. After 12 years with them, I have had it with Verizon and with this damn Samsung Phone. read more

waited almost three hours, when we finally got someone to help us, "kristine" walked away because we wernt sure of what we wanted to go help someone else she was rude and waaayy to quiet! finally we got set up with 2 phones with bob who was very polite but turned nasty when i wasnt happy with the battery life on the phone i purchased, i think i will just deal with this phone for a year or two and get something else, i wouldnt recommend this store......to much hassle i spent spent almost 600 on phones i wished i would have shopped online read more

DO NOT shop at this store. The sales people lied to me every step of the way. I went in to ask a simple question about my phone. They said I was eligible for an upgrade. I told them I would upgrade but only if I didn't have to pay more. I was told that my bill would only go up about $10 per month. LIE. I asked at the store point blank how much my next months bill would be and they assured me only $10 more. My first bill was more than double the usual bill. I called Verizon and was told they prorated my old plan for the rest of the month and charged me for the upcoming month. My next bill was still almost $50 more than usual. While in the store they sold me on a plan that included a free tablet. I asked them, again point blank, would this increase my month bill. They said only about $10 per month. So I asked "$10 on top of the $10 to upgrade"? They said no just the $10. Then they sold me on a package deal where I could get three accessories for for free. Again I asked about the increase in my bill. Again they said only the $10 more. Then they informed by I would have to pay $170 for the package but I would get that back when I sent my old phone in for a refund. I sent the phone in with the return label they provided. No refund ever came. I called Verizon and was told I still owed on my old phone so they applied the refund to that. This store did not disclose any of this and lied to my face. They didn't tell me I would be charged a $40 activation fee for the tablet. I told the guy when he sold me on the free tablet that I really don't need another tablet as I already had one. He said I might as well get it as it was free. That was a bunch of BS. I ended up paying $170 for the tablet and the accessories. read more
