Been a Verizon customer for years and this location has the absolute worst customer service you can imagine. Full staff of people working, at least 5 I saw plus a security guard and only 1 customer in the business and they tell me it will be a 10 minute wait. I had a billing issue and they couldn't be more rude and unhelpful. Then they have a manager come over (Viviana) who was even more rude and ignorant. She didn't want to help me so I went to the Hodgkins location and they solved everything. What a difference in staff, they care in Hodgkins about customers unlike the Burbank location. read more

This is a brand-new Verizon store that opened in the spot where Pearle Vision used to be. It has the BEST customer service I have ever experienced in a phone store! I walked in there and left feeling like I was at a high-end restaurant. My dad has a grandfathered contract dating back to 2004, so I'm still under his family plan (hey, can't complain for $25/month). Our contract was up over the Memorial Day weekend so we went in to choose new phones. The associates working at the store were great on all sorts of levels. We were helped by Leticia on our first visit. She told us which phones were better quality, explained what she was doing as she transferred info to the new phones, walked us through the phone rebate details, and even looked up my dad's current bill to compare it to an add-on she suggested - all while being very patient with the questions we were throwing at her. She was able to add unlimited minutes and texting at a discount to all of our lines - I'll take it for $35/month. A few days after getting the phones, we started to have some technical problems. We came in and were helped by Angie. The phones were swapped out no questions asked (just a bad batch - new ones work fine), and again she was very patient and polite and answered all of our questions. From the moment I walked in the front door, I received customer service at the level I'd expect from a higher-end boutique. In the past year, I've visited this location 4 times and each time I walked out feeling confident that I purchased the device, service or accessory that best met my specific needs. I attribute my positive experiences to my wireless representative Aleph and the Asst Manager Irving--who has supported an environment that maintains a high expectation of professionalism and customer-centric service. Aleph demonstrated strong knowledge of the equipment and services that Verizon offers and was able to clearly articulate my options in a way that was tailored to my needs. Although I'm pretty sure the employees have quotas to meet, Aleph was patient and thoughtful in helping me to select the "right" options by asking open-ended questions. Aleph also went above and beyond when he followed up with me about a week later (with my permission) to make sure I was still pleased w my purchase. Went here to sell my iPhone 5 so that the person I was selling to could activate it. I relayed that message to the manager who greeted me at the door. He acted pretty cool to me and we had a nice convo. The store manager tells a salesman this and he starts to compete with me in price once the buyer comes...He even meets him at his car outside the store. After them trying to convince the buyer that i was a bad seller (even though I'm very legit and even under market price for a new phone substantially). Customer still decides to buy my phone. This made the sales person pissed and he wouldnt activate the phone for my buyer "because they were all out of SIM cards" even though they just opened up. Terrible service, the manager was your stereotypical salesmen who was a complete a-hole. Also the review below me is completely false, the place isn't new at all, its an old dump. Employees suck and were just bashing a fellow employee the entire time about not turning on all of the devices and talking about cell phone sales. This place is only out for your money. The employees here are very rude and dismissive. There were approximately 6 workers and 2 customers in store and we still needed to wait 35minutes to be seen by a representative before they let us know they were out of stock for iPhone SIM cards. Out of stock on the phone the sell the most! That's unacceptable and the wait before they let us know they were out of stock is insulting. read more

I've always had trouble at this location. I don't know why, maybe because it's always very busy. That is to be expected though. I made an appt online so I could avoid having the long wait, but they said they never received it. Alright fine. So when my turn comes I tell the employee what I'm looking to do and he looks up my account and said it can't be done. Apparently the website is telling me one thing and the store is doing something different. After he realized there was no money to be made from me he pretty much dismissed me. After I left, I called another store not too far away and they said I could get what I was looking for no problem. So the store that took the extra time to actually look into my account got my business that day, and will from now on. But never this store. read more

There is nothing I hate more than liars. I went into the store and was lied to. I was told my contract was over and it wasn't. Since my contract was apparently over I decided to switch companies, to my surprise I received an early termination fee. I don't understand the purpose of the girl lying to me. Also, when I called the 800 # I was on hold for over 40 minutes. Verizon used to have their STUFF together. Extremely disappointed. read more

This place is very busy. Location is not that good but there is plenty of parking. Waited a longtime but it's hard to find a Verizon store around here so we had no choice. the location staff is okay but the verizon prices are just high. I regret changing carriers, they give you a price but then raise prices and say the quote was not including tax. Just left this facility and I am very HAPPY! I have been made whole again!! "Eric the Manager" was truly awesome. He got me in and out in less than 20 mins. I explained my issue--he knew EXACTLY what to do. He did not make me wait for another "Associate/Technician" as they were all busy helping other customers, he took care of me himself. It's nice to know that competence and fast service can exist in the same place. This is perhaps one of the BEST Verizon Stores on the southside. This is the worst Verizon store. They are very deceiving and not honest. I was lead to believe i was getting two gifts for buying buying two i phones. When the salesman actually charged my account for them without my knowledge. $400.00 worth of accessories that i was unaware of till the next day when i called Verizon to get a copy of my receipt because he didn't give me one. i brought the accessories back and thought i got a refund until my bill came and they had charged my bill another $304. I have been back to this store four times trying to get this straightened out. Now one of the managers won't even answer my call. I have left him a message on his cell phone every day for a week. DIDN'T GET COMPLETE INFORMATION. CUSTOMER SERVICE SUPERVISOR DIDN'T GIVE A CRAP ABOUT MY PROBLEM! I'm very disappointed to be writing this negative review, because I've heard great things about Verizon. However, I just switched over yesterday and I already want to run the other direction. On Saturday 5/2/15 I went to this Verizon store to switch over from T-Mobile. I was expecting great things, until things started to fall into place. I was helped by a guy named Joseph. He was very nice and initially gave me a lot of information that seemed pretty clear; then the red flag! FIRST RED FLAG was that he sold me the phone accessories without explaining why I was paying for them in like 3 different transactions. (he seemed to be in a rush to take care of another customer who was waiting for him). I didn't think much of it and just let him do his job. After he finished with all the transactions, I wasn't given ABSOLUTLEY ANY PAPERWORK (SECOND RED FLAG) about my plan or the devices I purchased and I wasn't told if it would be e-mailed to me or anything! So, I just went home and didn't think much of it. One of the features that I needed on my lines was access to call Mexico. HERE IS WHERE THE REAL PROBLEM COMES IN!!! The sales rep told me it was $10 a month for 1000 minutes and never said there were any restrictions attached to this feature. So today (one day later) I try to make a call to Mexico and to my surprise got an automated message saying that feature is not included in my calling plan!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So I call customer care(*611) and spoke to a dumb guy who told me there was "some paper work involved" and I would need to fax "some stuff" over. So I would not be able to make international calls. (He just (uuuuuuuhhhhhh and uuuuuuhhhhhhhhed all the time like this was so foreign to him) So I asked to speak to a supervisor. This supervisor was Philip employee #3410. I restated my concerns and he looked in to my account and told me the following: 1. I will NOT BE ABLE TO MAKE INTERNATIONAL CALLS until I get a credit approval. I WAS NEVER TOLD THIS BY JOSEPH, THE SALES REP WHO OPPENED MY ACCOUNT. 2. The waiting period would be 90 DAYS!!!!!!!!! Why the hell was I not given this information up front?!?!?! I specifically stated that I needed access to make calls to Mexico and WAS NEVER TOLD THERE WAS ANY WAITING PERIOD OR ANY CREDIT CHECK that I would need to clear. At what point was I going to be given this information?????? When I expressed my dissatisfaction and mentioned I was considering cancelling my service, the supervisor Phillip employee# 3410 simply said "well that choice is up to you" Yes, obviously it is up to me, but thanks for letting me know you could care less if I go or if I stay. (I was with my previous provider 8 years!!!!) Then I told him that I would like the restocking fee waived because I'm leaving Verizon due to the fact that I was not given the correct or complete information when I first opened the account. He kept on repeating "the stocking fee is a valid charge." Totally did not listen to what I was saying. I understand it's a valid charge if I simply don't like the service. I was not given correct and complete information and the least they could do is waive the $45 fee for their incompetence and to buffer the inconvenience. I will definitely go back to this Verizon store tomorrow, return all my devices and cancel service. So in a nut shell this Joseph rep did not disclose important information and the call center supervisor could care less about keeping me as a customer. read more

The customer service I received in this store was horrible and there were only two customers in the entire store. I went in to get a new phone for my son, whose phone was completely dead. I had previously called Verizon Customer Service who informed that it was a great time that they could do an early upgrade on the phone (contract expires 13 Dec 15) and no device trade-in would be required. Well when I went into this location I was told the complete opposite and told be the only they could do this if I trade in a working phone which they already knew the phone was dead. I explained that I spoke to Customer Service and I am doing what they advised and Pedro still didn't care and said there was nothing they could do. I went home called Verizon Customer Service was told the notes posted to my account reflected an "early upgrade - no device trade-in required". They were able to do it over the phone and we will have the phone by Tuesday. I would not recommend this store to anyone, I have been a Verizon customer for 20 plus years and this is kind of service they provide in the stores is horrible. read more
