I explained this issue to them including the symptoms & publicized fixes. Friday 4/11/25, I was told that they were not able to fix it and was given A phone back with no fee by "Z" in the store after Omar got who was not there physically but on speakerphone on "Z"'s phone explained to me. I noticed that the phone's screen had a few scratches & the back cover was unattached. I asked "Z" to confirm that was my phone & that it was all of my original parts because I'd have to send it elsewhere. He said that it was. I noticed that while attempting to turn it on, the behavior was different & I could no longer view the recovery or download options as before. When asking for an explaination from Omar on "Z'"s speakerphone as to why my phone was functioning lower that when I brought it in...Omar became angry & began to scream at me & speak in a condescending way. I explained to them both that I would not tolerate disrespect & left with what I was told was MY device with it's original parts as confirmed by "Z". I did let "Z" and Omar know that the way that he was speaking to me was not right & that a person with less sense than I might respond in a negative way based on Omar's disrespect & screaming. On 4/17/25, I sent the device to a highly rated & reputable business to be fixed/data recovered. On 5/6/25, I was contacted back with an update that the motherboard for the phone looked to be purposely soldered to short out to prevent it from coming on and that the IMEI number is different that the back cover and that this device is actually a 128gb instead of my 512gb. He sent pics as proof & and explained that this may have happened for theft of my parts, the previous shop may have damaged my original parts beyond repair & swapped in another motherboard that they purposely shorted out to prevent it from coming on in order for me to not know the differece with hopes of me not following up to explore. This was not MY motherboard AT ALL. I attempted to contact Connect Cell Repair & got no answer by phone.

I was using my laptop to find repair shops and making phone calls was not possible for me at the time and he responded fast. The corners of the steel frame on the Pixel were bent from previous drops and a new one is needed for the new glass to sit flush and properly. However, the Google Store was missing the steel outer frame which is necessary for the new glass to be installed and they said because this model is a few years old and they are not receiving new parts for it. Jesus knew I needed a phone right away so I could get back to my job and my funds were super low and I couldn't afford to spend $400-$500 on a new phone so he did his absolute best to work around the damaged frame issue for me. He managed to get the new glass in there but the bent frame caused several hair-line cracks across the bottom half of the screen but the phone worked again! It didn't really look to bad to be honest. He wanted to make it right for me said he will order another glass and install because he had an idea of how to repair the frame for me and would do so at no extra charge and he would call me the new part arrived. He let me take the phone home to use in the meanwhile. I would absolutely recommend this place for cell phone repairs. Jesus is honest and very helpful.

As I entered I couldn't help but notice the giant walls full of phone cases and video games. I was greeted immediately and offered assistance. I' explained my mishap to the employee who then assessed the damaged phone. He then took my contact info and ensured me he would be able to fix my phone. The best part.... FOR HALF THE PRICE the competition quoted me. Not only that but half the time. I returned an hour later to my screen looking brand new.
