Jesus took great care of me. I messaged him on Yelp after an unsuccessful appointment at the Google Store for my Pixel 6a. I was using my laptop to find repair shops and making phone calls was not possible for me at the time and he responded fast. The corners of the steel frame on the Pixel were bent from previous drops and a new one is needed for the new glass to sit flush and properly. However, the Google Store was missing the steel outer frame which is necessary for the new glass to be installed and they said because this model is a few years old and they are not receiving new parts for it. Jesus knew I needed a phone right away so I could get back to my job and my funds were super low and I couldn't afford to spend $400-$500 on a new phone so he did his absolute best to work around the damaged frame issue for me. He managed to get the new glass in there but the bent frame caused several hair-line cracks across the bottom half of the screen but the phone worked again! It didn't really look to bad to be honest. He wanted to make it right for me said he will order another glass and install because he had an idea of how to repair the frame for me and would do so at no extra charge and he would call me the new part arrived. He let me take the phone home to use in the meanwhile. I would absolutely recommend this place for cell phone repairs. Jesus is honest and very helpful. read more

We really recommend going here. The guy that fixed my daughter's phone was very nice. He got the screen fixed in 10 minutes or less and now the phone works perfectly. Very good service. He just gained a new customer. I will return, but hopefully not for my daughter's broken phone. read more

Awesome service! Quick, fast, professional. My iPhone 5s was dropped and had half of screen shattered, along with frame damage. I went to this place in Oakbrook, they said it was impossible to fix, and to not bother with the other places.......I heard of this place from a coworker and they fixed it! Woot! Got my phone back! They fixed it in 15 minutes? Great price too. read more

My Samsung S9 is my lifeblood for my business. In an attempt to repair a cracked screen I purchased the parts and proceeded to make a seemingly easy fix. I was wrong. I ended up destroying the entire touchscreen assembly. I spent most of the day looking into repair places and options. The quotes I received were ridiculous with over a week of lead time. My last call was to Android Wireless and Repair. Not only did they have the part in stock Jesse the owner was willing to stay past closing to help me out. That is quite rare in these times. Jesse was prompt, friendly and extremely professional. The repair went perfectly and to boot, he was the best price I had seen all day. I will absolutely recommend Jesse to anyone. read more

Customer service?? Please remind me what this means! I bought a used iPhone at higher than marker price and expected that since I paid that I would get a reliable working phone.. Instead I got a phone w many problems. I brought it to be fixed and it still had problems.. So instead of dealing w a crap phone that wasn't being fixed properly I decided to return the phone and buy a different one elsewhere.. When I told the employee I would like my money back she called her boss who said to give me my money back and I quote "the boss said that you're welcome to not step in our store again". Customer service my ass. So yourself a favor and shop elsewhere. read more

I called four places for quotes to fix my Samsung Galaxy 3 screen and this place was the cheapest ($60 versus $99, $149, and $199). When I walked in the guy was super friendly and told me he could have it done in two hours. I came back and he had the phone ready and it was fixed beautifully. AND he charged me exactly as quoted. This place is the best!!!! read more

My husband and I went here on Friday to get his screen on his iPhone 6 replaced after he broke it. The gentleman that helped us was really friendly, and fixed my husbands phone in less than 20 minutes. I dropped my phone off this morning and the girl working behind the counter was very friendly and able to answer all my questions. I ended up leaving my phone there to have the screen & glass replaced when the technician came in. Shattered my iPhone 6 screen over the weekend. Saw their ad on Craigslist and yelped them. Just got my phone fixed and didn't take more than 10 minutes. Got right in and got a new screen at a very competitive price! I highly recommend for anyone needing a screen replacement. We'll be back.

I'm hesitant to write this review because I don't want to hurt anyone's business but I feel like I got played. Don't get me wrong, the guys are cool and will do the job/fix your screen but I keep having touch screen problems ever since I got my screen replaced. No spills and it didn't fall. They were accommodating and did tell me to come back and replaced the first screen when there was a heavy lag. But now the current screen is having the same problem. And I'd rather not keep having them open up the phone. Even as I'm typing this review, I can't go one sentence without two or three typos. It's so inconvenient especially when I use my phone not just for texting but primarily for emails. So if it's not a screen replacement you need, def give these guys a chance but if it is, just go to a samaung or apple shop and pay the extra 30-40 bucks. I really wish I kept my cracked screen and didn't get it replaced. On my way to get a new screen from apple. Disappointed that I wasted my money here for this reason read more

I used to recommend this place to people but don't go there to have your screen replaced. Worth paying for more better service somewhere else.. unless you want your phone handed back to you without a working camera. read more

Dropped it off for a glass replacement.Big dude over there somehow unlocked my phone, when i dropped it off the phone was on my lock screen, when i picked it up the phone was on my photo album with all my nOOdz. How about a discount for the free show im providing you guys? Ive got HOT new pics for you to view. read more

This place is Way to high price and does NOT stand by their work. Customer service NONE!!! I brought my phone to be fixed and they fixed screen and then multiple problems started. read more

This location tried repairing my IPhone . At the end of it , the phone wasn't repaired and the Touch ID stopped working when it was working previously. On top of that, he started calling me a liar and fishy and told me that I am lying that the Touch ID even worked before he started his failed repair. Horrible customer service , horrible attitude, and outright degrading behavior. read more

I got my screen replaced here and later that day my phone was getting stuck. I would click on an app but it wouldn't open. That happened daily for a week. About a week later I took it back to get it looked at it again. He looked at it and said it was a "loose wire." I left out of the building, got in my car, stuck again! Went right back in, he changed the screen. Left, got stuck again but even worse. I couldn't do anything! I couldn't even turn off my phone. I couldn't answer phone calls, nothing. I was in an area where I wasn't familiar so I couldn't use my GPS to get back to the place. Eventually it stopped tweeking and I was able to navigate the phone. Meanwhile, I went back up there, he took forever to assist me again so I left. The next day my FaceTime stopped working! I finally went ahead and took it to apple (after attempting to file a claim with my phone carrier to get a new phone because this jack*** messed up my phone)and thank god I had apple care (didn't realize that) because they repaired my phone for free. And now my phone works perfectly! This guy messes up my phone and tried to blame it on the phone. He opened it 3 times but "then maybe it's the phone (he stated when I took it back the third time)." While I was there I got another phone of mines battery replaced and needless to say it DOESN'T WORK! read more

Rip off. Buyer beware. Be prepared to have your phone fixed by someone else if you let these guys fix it. Cheap parts that get you out the door, then fail shortly afterwards. Go somewhere else! read more

I went here this past weekend after my best friend's daughter shattered the screen on my iPhone 6. After seeing the good reviews and the check in offer to have it fixed for only $100 I decided to take it in immediately. I was extremely happy with the service. The phone works perfectly, a fear I had had after my boyfriends screen had repaired elsewhere and didn't work right after, and the service was super quick. Only took about fifteen minutes and the people working were extremely nice. The guy's name was Jesse but I didn't catch the girls name. I would highly recommend coming here, I know that if my phone breaks in the future I've got a go to place now. read more

Worst service I have ever received. DO NOT GO HERE. I went to get my LG G2 fixed, the LCD was broken. They told me 3 different times that my phone would be done Friday, as I was leaving for 3 weeks Saturday morning. It was not done Friday, he asked me to come before my flight at 5 in the morning promising that he would be there. He was not. The phone was picked up the following Monday and it was done horribly. They continue to lie and delay our service. AWFUL SERVICE. read more

Excellent service from Jesus! I brought my iPad Mini in yesterday to have the cracked screen replaced. It was ready in an hour and was $50 less than Digital Doc on 63rd quoted me for the same service. My iPad looks like new. I hope I won't need any more devices repaired, but if I do, I'll be back. :) read more

Android wire-less & repair (Formerly known as "So Fresh") located in the plaza on Woodward and 63rd in Downers Grove, Il is the biggest scam ever!! They fixed a cracked iPhone screen for me and the screen cracked again in LESS than 24 hours without the phone dropping or anything. I CALLED him to ask about a warranty and he told me "I didn't give it to you that way" and they refused to fix it. I've been doing business with them for over 6 years. According to Apple they don't use the same quality screens that's why the repair was faulty. Run FAR FAR away from this place. They are shady and unprofessional and have changed the name a few times! I wonder why. Save yourself the heartache and let a professional do the job. I've added pictures since he felt the need to blatantly LIE in his response stating that I brought the phone into the store in 50 pieces. He never saw the extent of the damage. My review clearly states that I CALLED. Furthermore why you should take your business elsewhere. read more

So I joined Yelp because android wireless & repair at 6315 Woodward Ave. would not refund my $5 for services that didn't work. I posted a comment on Yelp and Android Wireless & Repair responded with the incredibly professional response of that review was of the tobacco store across the street. They represent themselves and their customer service accurately with their online responses. Also they offer a $10 credit for positive postings on yelp, which is stated on their receipts. If you have any problems with boost mobile call boost mobile before going to any authorized retailer especially this one. read more

THE BEST SERVICE, VERY PROFESSIONAL, REASONABLE PRICES, AND GUARANTEED PARTS AND SERVICE!!! My son had a Samsung phone with shattered screen. I thought for sure he would have to replace the phone all together. Verizon couldn't do anything but advise a replacement...of course at a 2- 3 hundred dollar cost...We did call a few other places in the area. They were not willing to repair however they wanted to purchase our phone, or sell us a new one. We just wanted a screen replacement. When I called Android Wireless I spoke with Jesse. He was more than happy to quote a price over the phone.. He said we could bring it in and they would repair within 1 to 2 hours. We brought the phone in...spoke with Jesse and jose' who said they would call us when they were finished. Finished within an hour and a half. Excellent service, very informative and i would highly recommend Jesse and Jose' at Android Wireless and Repair. read more

would give 0 stars but thats not an option. took my galaxy note here to replace the camera. before i came and as i entered the store and handed the young lady my phone it was nothing wrong with the screen except for a micro size scratch more like a tiny knick. when i came back 20 mins later to pick up my phone i noticed the screen was cracked. as i looked at the large crack i looked back up at the young lady who then turned away from me because she knew y i looked at her. i then told the repair guy who seemed cool at first that my screen is now cracked and it wasnt in that condition when i left the phone. i also had a witness with me to co side. i tried to explain to this guy that there was a tiny knick on the screen but not a big fuckin crack in the screen from top to bottom. a crack n scratch r 2 diff things! he keot arguing that he didnt and tried to reverse the story about the knick already bein there but im talking about the very noticable crack!!! meanwhile his coworker isnt sayin a thing! they both know he cracked my screen. the guy also stated that hes cracked plenty of phones and replaced them at his fault! big red flagright there!! so u break paying ppeoples phones all the time??!! yeah so y wont u fix mines that u broke. just admitt it stop wasting both our times. in the end nothing is resolved im left with a cracked screen. please do not go there!!! spend ur cash some where else. if i wouldve read the negative reviews b4 hand i would have never went there! but if u like ur shit being broken after service this is the place 4 u. im getting upset as im writing this because im gkaring at a huge crack on my phone as we speak. read more
