I hope I have the correct store, on Wednesday I was having phone problems, I went in to Verizon and was greeted by Anthony (Tony) Graziano who was very pleasant and patience. He listed to me explain my problem, he was able to walk me through several steps to see what the problem was. He was able to fix my problem and explained everything along the way. He displayed good customer service. He was very through with his explanation. They both stayed after hours didn't rush anything and were so patient with solving a very complicated problem, handled it like professionals. Love this store! The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful. My phone charge port broke on my phone and I needed to get another one ASAP because I use my phone for business. I was really torn in regards to what new phone I should purchase. Due to the experience and knowledge of the staff they were able to find the perfect phone for me. This is not an easy task because I am very picky about my phone and I had lots of questions which they were able to answer. They were also nice enough charged my battery in one of their devices at their store. This allowed me to back up all my content on my old phone so I could restore it on my new phone. Hello, this Verizon incident happened today 8/20/2020. I'm filing a racial profiling law suit against this store and it's manager. I purchased a business phone account from Verizon in Carson on 8/17/20. I chose the brand new iPhone 11 Pro max, an iWatch series 5 and a mophie charging case. I had great service with Evelyn but she setup the contact info wrong. she used the business line which is Grasshopper and not the personal line I ported over. I called Verizon to correct the mistake at least 50 times and every time the "call failed", so I went to the closest Verizon Wireless store. This is where this complaint began. I approached the line and waited outside to be greeted by someone. I was greeted by a 5'7, caucasian man with reddish hair and some freckles. He asked me what I was here for. I explained to him that I couldnt login to the Verizon app and everything else. He reiterated back to me what I needed help with. Thats when he said he "can't help me". I said, "I'm here now at a Verizon store, why cant you help me." He said I needed to schedule an appointment to use their phone. I peeked inside and there was not a lot of people in there. He said there's too many people. He wouldnt let me inside. I said, "its 2 o'clock pm and you close at 6pm. I'll wait until your store is empty enough for me." He proceeded to tell me he would not help me. I asked him to look at me like his brother and help me fix this. He got defensive and said he couldnt help me again for the 7th time. I went to a different Verizon wireless store 20+ minutes away and they helped me. He let me in the store. He heard my issue. He asked for my ID to verify Im the account holder. This good man named Garik was patient, was not prejudice, he talked to me and understood me. He went out of his way to ensure I was legit and helped me. Garik fixed it and I was a happy camper. I even tipped him. Regarding Mark at the first location, I'm reporting him on every marketing channel possible and evn filing a law suit against him and that store for racial profiling, embarasent and anything else applicable. Mark had a clear racist prejuidce and would not even let me in the door in 98 degree weather. I had a verizon wireless bag in my hand with multiple receipts, my articles of incorporation, my identification, proof of all sales, proof or ownership of the account and he refused to help me. After getting a new iPhone 7 from Verizon as part of my upgrade plan, I had some problems getting it to work correctly on wifi at my home. After spending a lot of time with tech support from Verizon and Apple, I was told to bring it to a store for replacement, using Verizon's "Hassle Free" return policy. The management of the store wouldn't take my return. They didn't think the phone was defective and they wanted me to call tech support again just to make sure. After all, it worked for them. The employees were all dismissive of my concerns and their first instinct was to NOT help. It was a very unpleasant place to visit. read more

they sold me a business line for 2 people, they said this is the highest and strongest plan they have, it's been 3 weeks the connection is working worse than my previous Att for which I paid 50$ it worked better than verizon for which I pay 130$ I already I don't remember the exact amount, and to this day I can't complete the registration so that I can pay the beat, and it's their job they should have done it initially, but for some reason they didn't, I didn't have time and returned to Verizon, which is located in Burbank, I was received very badly, no one wanted to help and my issue was not resolved, I went back there 5 times, we contacted via phone to an office like an employee from a higher position at Verizon, after 1 hour long and painful interrogation from an employee on the phone, she said that today I will receive a mail and I can register an account, she lied again and I did not receive anything after the second day, I am going to cancel my plan and never return back to this network,I warn verizon in the comments because they have a mess in the field of their company and employees, and so if the day to pay the bill approaches, and I can not pay due to your huge and gross mistake, and if I have a negative influence on my credit history, then I promise to sue verizon, I have everything on hand read more

Verizon I wanted to upgrade my new iPhone 8 from 64G to 256G. Easy, right? The young lady who greeted me at this store was very pleasant. After that, things quickly went downhill. The tall clerk who helped me looked confused when I explained what I wanted to do. He said he would need to charge a $30 "restocking fee". I told him Verizon told me on the phone that I would not need to pay that, since I had already paid $699 for the phone, and was about to pay another $150 for more storage. "So, you're not gonna charge me another $30 to do that, right? Just gimme the new phone and I'll pay the $150." At which point a "mananger" came over and said, "Yeah, we 'have' to do that...". Come on. You don't 'HAVE' to do that. You're just trying to make another $30 off of Verizon. When I told him Verizon said I wouldn't have to pay that, because I was upgrading, not switching or canceling, the manager said that Verizon would reimburse me. "No, they won't reimburse me, they will reimburse YOU cuz I'm not paying $30 to pay more money for a phone." And I was outta there. I called Verizon and they are going to send me a package so I can send it back. Free. No problems. A word to anyone reading this. ALL these little phone stores are not worth dealing with. (T-Sprint, Verizon, whatever). If you have a problem and want decent customer service, just deal right with the big companies. They are the only ones who have the authority to make any kind of deal. Manager did not return the customer's call I am writing to inform you that I had a negative experience at Verizon Burbank store located 1729 N Victory Pl, Burbank CA 91502 (818)-842-2722, and the persons who handled mine refused to tell his and her name. I have been struggling for more than two months regarding the billing issue on the newly purchased phone and changed plan. I called Verizon call center and visited the local store at Burbank several times to solve this issue. Luckily, very nice lady, named Ms. Sasha Jones at Verizon 1-800 call center helped to understand the billing through 3-way calling with the store at Burbank where we purchased the phone and we even emailed her supervisor a compliment letter on September 03, 2014. However, another billing issue came up this month regarding the same changed plan. On September 27, 2014 Saturday, when we called 1-800 call center, the representative made 3-way calling with the store at Burbank saying that she needed to talk to the store regarding this issue since the sales associate at the store input initially all the information. However, the lady at the store on the phone kept saying that since she is not a sales associate, we need to come down to the store and not even trying to review the information in the store system. Out of hopeless frustration with a loud voice but not definitely yelling or screaming (I believe that a frustrated customer who suffering for about 2 months on the same account with no help can raise his/her voice - put you in my shoes) I asked her to explain why we need to pay again on the same account because Verizon asked me to disregard the sub account (or separate) bill when we received two separate bills for the first time about a month ago since I changed the phone and plan. Her response was " I DO NOT understand you" and then Hang up the 3-way phone calling. So I called the store again but the phone was answered but hung up right away and third time called again and the same thing happened. When forth time I called the store, one guy answered the phone and I asked him who was the lady just answered the phone and he said that " there are 10 ladies working here I don't know what lady you mean", he even did not say that how he can help me. I told him that I like to talk to the manager and he literally said that he is the manager and when I asked him what his name is, he hang up on me. I called several times and my phone got intentionally hung up. When I called again the store, I first asked the name whom answering the phone and the guy (David-he said) put me on hold without any explanation for 20 mins in order to talk to the manger. I called the store again using other phone, the sales another associate answered the phone saying that the manager is dealing with other customer and it might take about 40 mins and asked me to leave my phone # and I did. But the manager has not returned my call yet and it is obvious to me that no one including the manager cares much about a customer at the Burbank Verizon store after selling a new phone and plan. And whenever I called the store, I recorded all my conversation with the store if you need for a further investigation. read more

Funny how his name is human when he is anything but human he acts like a robot when he states "we're very busy do you want to wait or not?!!" NO SMILE no warm greeting JUST take a number wait like cattle is the attitude exuded from him. Being busy does not negate being nice, welcoming being warm and being inviting as one comes across the lease line to their store. When I can choose anywhere to go - this is not a utility service - this is a choice of a carrier I make and based on the store service and representation of Verizon I will choose another carrier every everytime! However it's evident by the low marks the store gets on Yelp and other review sites that a lot could be improved and obviously has not since the last time I brought this to the district managers attention. As we left the store a customer came up to me that was also leaving and said he couldn't believe how the store manager was acting he too was leaving and it's sad because we live in Burbank and to not be able to come to our home store and be welcomed and treated nicely is very sad. Go to Pasadena on Lake Ave it's worth the 15 minute drive from Burbank Plus it is a lot of nice shopping. Just leave that Burbank shopping center is crazy anyway and so is that 15 minutes spent driving around there you could already be at a place that's going to treat you nice plenty of parking and wonderful restaurants. Tryed upgrading another account they said the same thing I knew they were lieing. Avoid this place at all costs. Go to the Sherman Oaks corporate store instead. The staff is way more knowledgable, competent and friendly. People here need more extensive training so they don't give out false information. Long story short, the first time I came here, the young gentleman who I assume was a sales associate had misinformed me of the cost of how much my insurance deductible would be. The cost difference is now going to cost me an extra $50 dollars which could've easily been avoided. I called the store looking to make an appointment to have this issue settled and they kept asking me questions for about 15 minutes on the phone, and ultimately refused to set me up with an appointment. I mentioned that I would like to speak to a manager, they told me that I can show up in store and wait for one, warning me that it may be hours until one will be available to help. You guys have been overcharging and offering below average customer service for far too long and I'm shocked it took me this long to actually switch. I can't tell you how many times I've been to a Verizon store and had to wait because it's always packed. While this specific store had OK customer service, I came to pay my bill and end my service but had questions I wanted answered in person. Hence, me ubering here to ask them. When they took my name down for the 40 minute wait the guy could have just said "just do it online and don't waste your time here." That's all Verizon is. A waste of time and money. Two days ago I went in to have my phone looked at. Something is wrong with the texting and typing on everything from facebook, apps, texting and on websites. I have a droid 2 so Im guessing it has something to do with the new gingerbread upgrade. So I went into this Verizon walk around looking for someone to help me. After 10 minutes a woman came up and said "did I need something". I explained my phone wasnt working and in the middle of what I was saying she said "well im helping someone else, so your gonna have to check into the waiting list"... ??? Um, ok? Thanks for nothing.. so i went an checked in. Sat there watching employees literally walk around texting checking their phone, gazing out the windows, talking to other employess and basically doing nothing. A couple of them actually stared at me and kept on walking and doing nothing. ONE OF THEM actually leaned on the customer check in computer podium and checked his phone... ?? Are you serious!?! So finally some guy went up to the front desk.. mumble my name out, I walked up and he was texting and said "what can I help you with" while staring at his phone. So I explained again what was wrong with my phone. He played with my phone trying to fix it, couldn't figure out what was wrong and asked the guy next to him. He didnt know either. Then told me he was gonna order me a replacement phone. He took my address and info, and said I would get it the next day by FedEx. Two days have gone by.. still no phone. I call customer service, it connects me to Tampa??!?! They tell me "no order has been made". I call the Burbank Verizon, talk to some idiot on the phone who basically tells me because I don't know who helped me by name, there is "NOTHING they can do", "do it myself", "what exactly did I want my end result to be", "dont bother wasting my gas coming in".... I about had a heart attack? Is this really how they are trained to respond to a customer who has been failed by another associate? So because THEY made a mistake, and I call to complain, I deserve to get talked to like a worthless piece of crap? Im so confused. This place is a joke. After 2 1/2 years of problems, endless hours on with tech support, endless hours at different Verizon locations in 2 different states and a number of replacement phones, I was ready to switch to another provider. But then I found Hannah at the Encino store. She was the only person who didn't try to sell me something but instead got my phone working and worked on it past closing time. I had to return to have her finish going through the phone but she was on vacation and when she got back she was transferred to the Burbank store, which is a drive for me. I tried to find other Verizon people to fix my phone but again was met with inept and or lazy people (other than Blaine at the Studio City store who also was transferred to Burbank). I then waited for Hannah to return from getting married and as I now sit outside of the Burbank Verizon with my older phone that is working better than any phone I have ever had, I have to say that Hannah should write a book on how to make your cell phone work like a new phone! She is amazing, does about 10 things at once on your phone while fixing it and did what probably over 100 reps said couldn't be done. Hannah is beyond patient too. The Burbank store seems to have more enthusiastic, competent and caring people working there and less customers having temper tantrums! Hannah is worth the drive in So. Cal traffic. I will be returning here for their classes and help any time I have a phone problem. read more

The key to every business in the Empire Center is to come during off-peak hours. There is NO PARKING (and lots of angry drivers) if you don't. So with that in mind, every experience I've had with this Verizon store in Burbank has been extremely pleasant. Once you sign in, it might take a few minutes before it's your turn, but when it is, they're always very helpful and will take their time with you if necessary. The customer service at this Verizon is INCREDIBLE! I've been a Verizon customer for years, and been though A LOT of phones. Most end up having to be replaced cuz of some dumb (drunk) thing I did. And these guys just smile and get me through any replacement or accessory exchange as easy and painless as possible. I mean NO ONE actually likes their phone contracts, with limited data, etc. But all this is out of the stores hands. As far as this store is concerned, they know you pay a lot for your contract, and they treat you to any little detail and help they can, to make what you pay as worth it as possible. I left this store yesterday literally saying out load "I love this store!" First, the store is clean and organized. Second, the staff is friendly and efficient. Third, I am not the most tech savvy person and when I have trouble trying to do something on Verizon on line, I go to the store and they never make me feel like I'm an idiot that should be able to do this on line. I had a huge problem with the way my phones were activated. I spent almost 2 hours on the phone with customer service with no progress. I went into the store and Julio was of great help. I went back a few days later to finish the whole process. Jen helped me and spent so much time working to get a resolution. Should be ZERO stars but Yelp requires at least one! For customer service !! WORST service ever. Walked in to return an Otterbox Defender case WITH receipt and was signed in. I stood their watching employees talking to each other, texting on their phones, all while having multiple people standing around waiting for service. After 15 minutes, finally got some help from Josiah. Told him I wanted to return the case and handed him the receipts. After several tries on his Ipad, he was finally able to bring up the refund window. Now the fun begins. I bought the case from another Direct Verizon store and was told by customer service that I can return the case to this Direct Verizon store. This is contingent , of course, on their ability to pull up my invoice. Which they were apparently not able to do so. In a store that sells digital devices, why couldn't he pull up information on the same system when he has my receipt in hand ! Disappointed I left and called customer service. Lo and behold , Shanita ( a true example of what customer service is all about) , was able to pull up my record without effort and was as confused as I was on why this store is unable to seemingly pull up my record! I called the store and spoke to a Hector , who claims to be the store manager. His attitude was less than helpful and offered to give me $20 when the receipt clearly shows I paid just under $40. His inability to utilize their system was going to cost me half of what I paid!! Is this store that hurt for business?! Apparently so! Bottom line, Hector the manager, didn't "give a sh*t" about my issue and that was that. What an excellent representation of what Verizon Customer service is all about ! I hope his Regional Manager, Julio Morales and District Manager, Greg Yokoban are proud of this kind of public representation ! Not surprising that this store rates only 2.5. I was lured in to buy a Motorola DROID phone because of all the apps. The phone is a big disappointment. The keyboard keys are so small that just one of my fingers pushes 3 or 4 keys when I try to type. This makes the keyboard useless. There are buttons all around the phone. It is hard to hold the phone without pressing the buttons. The phone has dialed up numbers on my contact list all by itself. My wife also bought a DROID. Her DROID beeps and makes various sounds while she is talking on the phone. Some of the buttons are hard to push because they are so small, other buttons are pushed by mistake because they are placed where a person normally holds the phone while they are talking. They need to take DROID back to the drawing board. read more

Customer Service here SUCKS. I feel so because of a female employee by the name of "EVITA", let me say it again "EVITA", did a horrible job helping me out. I went in to see if they can replace a phone(under warranty) that keeps resetting at random times. This lady seemed like she had no clue what to do. Everytime I ask a question she replies with a yes, no, or few word answers. I really felt like she didn't want to help me or even be at work. When she was entering my information into the computer, she paused to look at her nails several times before she finished entering my information in. I don't know how long it takes to pull up someones information but it took a while for her to pull my info up. She then goes in an out of the back room 3 times before telling me that I need to leave the phone overnight for testing purposes. I felt so disgusted by EVITA's customer service that I took my phone and left, vowing never to come back to this store, even if my life depended on it. read more

They have the WORST CUSTOMER SATISFACTION AFTER BEING A CUSTOMER WITH VERIZON FOR MORE THEN 10 years have about 6 lines of service and spending over $500 every month with them! Here's my story--- I purchased a brand new phone 2 weeks ago and after 2 weeks I noticed couple things where my iPhone 6 was not grabbing LTE service when I use to have the best service with my iPhone 5 ... The manager told me I have to restart my BRAND NEW PHONE THAT I SPENT ALMOST $800 ... So I refused I told them that why do I have to buy a brand new phone and have problems with?? So one of the other store managers "Fernando " said no problem come back with the box and we will swap out your phone . So I was like ok sounds good at least someone helped me out. So after 2 days went back they swapped out my phone that I only had for 2 weeks. So after the 2nd brand new phone I was having issues with it again! I was not able to hear when landline callers or outside of verizon callers would call me! So I went back to the store after couple of employees trying to assist me and telling me they can't change my phone because I swapped it out one already I asked for another manager " mind you this NONE OF THE EMPLOYEES KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT PHONES IN THAT STORE! All they know is how to bullshit customers to buying new phones! ... So after arguing my case with "Lola " another branch manager finally she was kind enough to swap out my phone again! After being there for couple hours and fighting back and forth ! So as I left the store I made a test call Sure again I was having problems with the next new device! Because the store was closed already I had to go back again another day ! So after being on the phone with verizon tech support for 2 hours going back to the store and 5 different people trying to help me out nothing was resolved and employees judging their customers! THE WORST MANAGER YOU CAN EVER DEAL WITH TGAT WILL HARRAS YOU AND THREATEN TO CALL THE POLICE ON ME TO ESCORT ME FROM THE PROPERTY BECAUSE I REFUSED WALKING OUT OF THE STORE WITH THIS PIEC OF SHIT SO CALLED " brand new iPhone 6" HIS NAME IS "MO" Last but not least I asked for the Regional manager name because no one was helpful or useful at this location he rushed to give me his info! So if you planing on signing a contract with Verizon I would suggest going to a different location or purchasing online! read more

I don't know why there are so many bad reviews on here, I had an amazing experience. After visiting two (not a typo) Verizon stores yesterday (total of 4 hours), my new phone still was devoid of contacts and email. Went here, was helped by someone named Joseph, who dealt with my issue with the utmost patience, even after I handed him a phone that was battery-dead. He worked to resolve my issues, was cordial and friendly, and (with the help of a manager named Peter) managed to fix everything! They were great - this is going to be my go-to Verizon store now. read more

This store use to be so bad, we hated going to this one service was horrible. Thankfully they cleaned house new employees and management. We were helped by Jeremiah, who took his time with us and got us what we needed. We all upgraded, and I am very satisfied. I have a lot of patience as oppose to others but after all it was said and done they helped us and I left a happy customer. read more
