this was the worst experience I have ever ever had! Verizon shut off our AT&T phones and would not release our new phones to my husband even though they were on his credit card and in his name. it is 3 days later and hours and hours on customer service calls that nobody can do anything because verizon setup the account wrong. we own a business and have been without phones for 3 days! the rep at this store told us "too bad" and closed the door in our face. Now we are trying to get our phones switched back to AT&T because verizon is so horrible that they have not been able to cancel and order, fix an order or ship new phones. Its a complete and utter nitemare!!! As business owners, this is detrimental to our company!!!!!! I have never ever had such a horrible bad experience in my life and I dont ever write reviews!! This store is terrible!!! I have been a Verizon customer since 1998. If you are not buying a phone, they have no use for you! I purchased a phone on Thursday from a different Verizon location. I went into the Boynton Beach location on Sunday with a few questions on my new phone. After waiting for over 20 minutes we finally got "Felix" who was so unprofessional and rude. We called the store manager, John Ramsay 561-398-8461 and have no9t heard back yet. Terrible service!!! read more

Took my senior citizen parents in there after they were told they could get a free upgrade to smrtphones after loyal service with verizon for years. They told us there was a $30 upgrade fee per phone. We asked to waive it. They said we had to call wireless. We were on hold for 30+minutes at the store. When we finally got someone they refused to waive it. The store manager apparently spoke to the people on the phone, but never bothered to come out and introduce him/herself. Then the store refused to waive the fee. They're scam artists who take advantage of seniors here. Stay away. Next stop, Florida consumer bureau. read more

Can I give no stars? By far the WORST customer service I have seen at VZW. Walk in and there are NO customers in the place. 8 that is EIGHT reps standing around doing nothing. They make me sign in and wait. After 15 minutes we kinda started striking a conversation with one of those idiots just to get service. Not one of them knew how to handle the situation. As helpful as walking up to anyone on the street. On a second occasion we asked about an upgrade. If you have Verizon than you know you are eligible for an upgrade every year so long as you renew your contract. The rep had no idea and said he never heard of such a thing. (He's been there for a while too so it's not like he was new or something). The ONLY reason I keep going back there is because of the location. It is the most convenient one. If you do go there gave lots of patience and be ready to deal with idiots. read more

Management is lazy and does not care about anything happening in their own store...James, in particular. Corporate should close this location or fire everyone who works there. Added charges to my account with NO consent after telling me I was wrong about my monthly bill and didn't know what I was talking about!! I pay my bill every month, not you sir. If you need to buy something, this is the place. If you need CUSTOMER SERVICE, STAY AWAY. I was directed to this store, by customer service over the phone, to get a return label for a trade in device. Once I arrived, I was asked where I bought my new device at, and was directed to go back to that place, for the return label. I then had to ask for a manager, who also had a bad attitude. After speaking with him, I was given the return label, after standing there for 15 minutes. After all of this I had a question about my phone. Once again, I was directed to the place where I bought my current phone. As a corporate store, I would think the associates would be held to a higher standard. read more

Pretty slow store, the front old lady gave me a dirty look when I walked in, she's chewing gums as she's asking for my information, couldn't pronounce my name correctly after I told her twice. The staff said they would call me when my device was ready, but never did. I had to come back twice to try to get the phone. The phone was actually available at the store when I was there the first time, and I was ready to pay for it. Don't expect them to give you the discount you already had when you upgrade, you will have to remind them. Sometime I wonder why I pay extra to get lower than average customer service, if I am changing carrier next year, this store would be one of the main reasons why I do it. Terrible Custumer services.. High price and they don't match the price on electronics from other store like Best Buy or Walmart.

Here's why: On Friday, April 14th being an out-of-towner I randomly visited this Verizon Wireless store for upgrade assistance. The sales associate only known to me as "Frank" by his name tag handled this transaction in a manner that far-exceeded my expectations. Character Counts!!!! His enthusiasm, knowledge and noticeably strong communication skills were exemplary. This rep has the potential and talents to manage!!!! read more

Worst customer service ever received at a Verizon store, and I've been a customer from the beginning, for over 20 years. Amos not only didn't do what we requested, but went on to do just what he wanted to do. I could have done what he did, but that's not what I asked him to do. While the software was updating, I asked what the software would do next (as that was not what I wanted to do), he said that he doesn't know, because he "never paid attention". I asked about any other employee that might know the answer, & he said "no", although I find that hard to believe. Next, 4 or 5 employees all of a sudden appeared from the back, after all of the other customers had gone (there was a wait, before). Although other employees saw that I was displeased with Amos' responses, no one intervened to help me, but stood behind the counter joking with each other, doing nothing. If there was a manager standing there, he made no attempt to help me either. Amos knew less than me, and to add insult to injury, he tried to upsell me a tablet. I'll drive to Wellington in the future. This was a complete waste of an hour, and I had to start over at home, undoing what he did. read more

If I could give 0 star I will be happy. The only reason I went to this particular store was because they are just across street from my house, pretty much. This is the second time I tried to get something done with them but their service is just HORRIBLE, and because is the second time I thought things had changed but I was terribly wrong. My phone screen broke and I'm eligible to upgrade on Aug 25th 2014 when my contract is up also, two days ago I went to the store because my husbands phone it was broken for weeks and the phone finally gave up on him, I explained to the sales associate our situation he excused himself to ask his manager if was ok to do an early contract renew and of course the manager jumped right in and approved (it's money coming in to the company) we were happy my phone was perfect fine at the time I said I will wait to Apple to release IPhone 6 and I will be back to do my phone, ODD thing happened after that on the morning of the 15th I accidentally dropped my phone and the screen broke on the inside, consequence I couldn't see a thing ... I thought to myself no problem when I have the time later on the same day I will stop at the store and to my early renewal. When I walked into the store I was greeted by a lady that was working at the night that my husband and I was there updating his. This time everything was different, including the treatment, during day time, store is busy and I just want to do my really quick transaction and be gone by the door BUT the guy who was helping me didn't know shiiiiaaattssss about what I was talking about went back and for with the manager that never showed up to me, sales associate says he was on the meeting with the general manager ... guy keeps jerking me around not helpful at all, offering me a tablet ghezzzzz I don't want a tablet I WANT A WORKING PHONE! anyway the sales associate said I could not have a phone because I was not eligible ... so I asked how come my husband was and we bought the phone at the very same day as matter affect my husband is on MY CONTRACT???? he didn't have the answer so after an hour of not help I decided to come back another time and speak to the manager that we spoke before and actually had something done. I came in today to "Edge up" as I am on the payment plan for my phone. I switched to an iPhone 6s, knew exactly what I wanted and the sales rep, Amos, caught on fairly quickly. Tried to upsell me on a $34 screen protector that had some warranty blah blah blah- no thank you. I can get a nice screen protector on Amazon for 10 bucks. Needless to say, Amos was just trying to do his job and I was fine with that. However, he-myself and my wife got on the discussion of how not so cost effective the edge program is. Let's face it, its not. Its nice because you can upgrade pretty much a year and a half in to a new phone which I happen to like. Now, my wife is a senior level accounting manager for a well known company. She knows her numbers and has been doing it for over 11 year. Que in Amos, Mr. Verizon salesman. He and his buddy try to explain to us and even shrug off and belittle my wife, that the edge program saves you money and we don't understand the numbers. "oh thats right, you're an accountant" Amso says. It took every once of me not to pop the mother f-er in the mouth. He crossed the line of helpful sales associate to just a plain a-hole. I will NEVER come back to this store as it exemplifies poor customer service, arrogance and laziness. Steer clear and if you do go in, avoid Amos. Apparently he's better than you. read more
