Can you get a new phone and a new plan switched over from AT&T you know it's never going to be easy and they made my experience as effortless as possible. Working with Gigi, there were some small hiccups. She was extremely Patient ! Helped every way possible and resolved every obstacle that we had to face. Even towards the end when I almost had the phone in my hand, it was accidentally shipped to my house. So I had to wait a few days. She went above and beyond to take care of me and make everything right! Really appreciate her customer service and I would definitely recommend going to this location and trying to work with her. In general, no one likes to go to a cell phone store and it is always going to take awhile, that is out of everyone's control, so there is no need to be mean to those that are working there. Been to this store a few times, and honestly, everyone is amazing. I have had great interactions with everyone that works there. They are patient, kind, and take their time to address your issues and really put their best foot forward to ensure you have what you need. This is definitely the best store to come to! THEN THEY TOOK MY FULLY PAID OFF iPhone 13 PRO MAX AND SHIPPED IT AWAY BEFORE CONTRACTS WERE EVEN SIGNED. I WAS STUCK. I am visually impaired, as I told them. I broke my phone. Everything worked but the screen. I needed a new phone. I told them what I needed,They care about turn over and money and they sold me a new phone. I asked if they were transferring my notes and contacts to my new phone. They said no. It should just happen automatically when I got home. It never happened. I went back and asked for help switching things over. The mgr. said we can't do that. We aren't equipped. I said jokingly I should just get a refund because the phone is worthless without my information. She asked, so you'd like a refund then. No conciliation. No attempt to satisfy a customer. After a few more minutes of talking. Then she offers to make an appointment to work on my phones. A moment earlier they couldn't do that. Worst service ever. Who cares if they lose customers. There is always a new one walking in the door. If you can't swap info from one phone to the new one. Why are you selling phones? Or does it matter how much money you spend? Verizon customer service has become pretty bad. They have the same network on "pay as you go" network operators like "Visible" ( which is their "pay-as-you-go" "MVNO" - Mobile Virtual Network Operator like "mint" Is to T-Mobile) they farm out their customer service to foreign countries and charge a premium price for this second rate service. So my point is: if you're going to get second rate service then why pay full price for a postpaid account when you can get the same network telephone service with the same crappy service for up to 1/4 of the price read more

I can't ethically give Verizon five stars because they're Verizon. I have been a customer for a very long time and pay them a hell of a lot of money. This location is convenient when I'm heading into Bloomington to grab my son for some fun times. The folks are friendly and have stopped trying to sell me stuff because my face tells them that it's not wise to do that. I'm here for a reason and want only that reason addressed. When you purchase phones, etc. from them, you can get in-store pickup. I always choose that because you can get your item the same day it's ordered. They've never made a mistake with my order and it's relatively quick to pick up and go, though they always want to "test" the device to make sure all's well. I let them know that I don't need such assistance. I build computers from scratch and am probably more machine than human, so my device and I will be just fine together. ROFL If you have limited technology experience/knowledge, Verizon actually has classes and workshops to help you out. They are free, too. They usually notify you of these things when you purchase a new device. So, despite the fact that I will probably continue to pay them way too much money, Verizon is my preferred wireless carrier. The service, on all fronts, is reliable and they have actual customer service...for the most part. read more

DO NOT GO HERE! I've been a very happy Verizon customer since 2002, but that was all ruined with my recent visit to this store. We went into the store to get new phones and somehow during this process, we came away with a bill that is DOUBLE on just the phone lines . We were also talked into getting internet and YouTube TV and it was supposed to save us $ from what we were paying with Xfinity. When all said and done, it turns out we will be paying more. There were so many pages of figures talked about, printed out, written on, it got extremely confusing. We feel cheated, taken advantage of, bait and switched and foolish for not listening to our intuition. We should have RAN out of there! Next problem we had, they sent us home with a gateway that did not work. I spent hours trying to get it set up with Customer service, they finally shipped us a new one (thankfully that worked). Tried to return the old one and the store and they wouldn't take it, said had to call customer service to handle. I called, spent another hour with customer service and they were finally able to find a way to send return shipping label. I will say the Verizon customer service rep was exceptional. One other thing that happened, Verizon said they are giving us a 200.00 Amazon gift card for our trouble with the gateway (not enough for all the trouble we have gone through) being told it will take 4-6 weeks. Not optimistic on seeing that. We are exhausted with trying to trouble shoot all of this. With all the free "activation fees" we would be out of, it makes switching to a new provider hard to swallow, however, we plan to pursue that anyway due to how poorly this went. Closed account hours into new billing cycle. Immediately locked out of MyVerizon, as expected. 30 days later received a bill for month of service. Called. Verizon says it doesn't prorate. I asked for terms of service supporting this charge. First lady says can't find it. Will "escalate" to "contested bill." Someone will call in 7-10 business days. That was February 9, 2023. No call but a collection e-mail with associated threats sent each day thereafter. Called number after first collection e-mail. Long process, but collector couldn't do anything because there was a "ticket," other than "split the charge." I asked for someone who could. He put me on hold. I hung up after 15 minutes. Today is February 24th. No call. No support for charge. Still trying to collect. Long time customer treated poorly past 2 years. Never again. read more

the worst location I have ever delt with in my life for Verizon in MN. The manager on July 23rd asked me if I had anyone checking me in, I replied no I didn't , he said what can I do for you? I said hey I have a phone for pick up. He looked instead of doing research he said yeah there's a error in your account, dial 611. Find out. After that... he cut me off and continued onto the next guest. The manager was a complete douche and didn't seem to have the time of day. I then politely said ok I'll call them. I called 611 for a old of an amazing customer service rep from corporate named Kenyatta so nice. She not only was offended by their behavior but the store manager I spoke to said see what online support says ... I then.. said to her hey what can we do she said "let's give the store a call" very sweet... she was on hold for minutes with them trying to get a hold of them. I reached back out to the manager on duty in the store, the store manager said if she works for Verizon she should know better she can't call us at the store. I was so annoyed I left and almost cussed his skinny ass out . I went back to the store I trust and love and has hooked me up with great customer service. Even though the place was pretty empty, no one asked me if I needed help. They did ask my boyfriend multiple times, but I'll forgive that because I understand what a good looking dude he is. I'm pretty sure the employee who helped us was named Prince. Either way, this guy totally deserves credit for being so awesome with us. One of the perks of my job is a Verizon discount, which also applies to product. We were adding a second line because my boyfriend finally decided to enter the future (we were also getting rid of our home line.) He made it quite clear that he wanted a totally basic phone, preferrably a free one. And free is what we got! I've been routed to the SEVENTH person; each time I'm told the person with whom I've been talking, and given ALL MY ACCOUNT info to, puts me on hold and I end up going to the beginning of the line, BRAND NEW PERSON, who makes me go through EVERYTHING AGAIN. I'm reviewing a cell phone store. It was that great of an experience. My droid (that I bought 5 months ago) broke and (even worse!) I had to go to the verizon store to see if they could help me. I've been to several others, the worst being the one in St. Louis Park, and was seriously not looking forward to the experience. Yuck. It was like all of the stars aligned. They said hello and didn't herd me toward a computer terminal to check in! They helped me right away! They listened! and Myra, the manager, helped me get a new phone shipped to my house. Horrible experience. Customer service was very bad. I met with Michelle. She was very rude and accused me of giving her the wrong information. She made me feel like I was inconveniencing her. I am the customer! After ordering a phone online, I wasn't satisfied with my purchase, so I exchanged it in the store. My $20 fee to add a phone was taken off online, but in the store, the fee was added. Every time I denied a protection plan fee, she made it sound like I was making a horrible decision. If you are in a family plan, it is such a headache to upgrade your phone. Please go with a different company! read more

One of the representatives at this store convinced my 75 year old father to buy an iPad with LTE service without telling him the details of what the costs were. A two year contract with service for the device was added to his bill. I went back with my dad to return the device after I found out what had happened. I was pleasantly surprised with the service my boyfriend and I received at Verizon. We were wanting to switch to the same plan, and couldn't decide if we should go with my carrier (T Mobile) or his (Verizon). After visiting both stores, we ending up going back to Verizon because of the service we received, and the plan seemed a bit better. The salesperson even threw in some free accessories like screen protectors and phone covers. He also gave us a discount on the phones we purchased (Droids). On November 19, John B "helped" me and my boyfriend regarding a trade-in after buying a 1000 dollar phone two days prior. When first going in, I was quoted 80 dollars for trading in my Iphone 7 plus. John offered us 50 dollars and after explaining to him that we were originally offered 80 dollars he continued to tell us that he was not going to be getting into a "he said, she said" argument. We were completely civil and respectful during the conversation but he had a degrading and disrespectful attitude throughout the entire encounter. I have been a customer of Verizon for 15 years and have never dealt with someone so extremely rude and distasteful. His advice for us was to return later in the week to talk to someone else about the situation yet we were the only customers in the store. He rushed us through the entire conversation and continually made us both feel unimportant. My boyfriend has also been a customer for the same length of time and this encounter made us both rethink who we would like to continue our phone service with. There are seven people on my phone plan and if this does not get resolved we will have no other choice but to change carriers. read more

This is a public compliment to Rob Cholico, a Solutions Specialist with Verizon. I walked in with my non-functioning iPhone 5S yesterday. It wouldn't upload photos, connect to the internet, or back up to my MacBookPro. New alerts were popping up that made no sense to me, and it was time for professional help. We quickly connected the dots to the recent software update issued by Apple. A few weeks ago I did what I always do - upgraded immediately. When it was done I had a dramatically different phone. It took some days to get used to, including number of glitches that became worse over time. Rob was honest - iPhone 5s haven't responded well to the software update. I was aggravated -- why would Apple push out a software package to me as an iPhone 5S owner? Just as irksome - why wouldn't Verizon be aggressively working to protect the hardware I bought through Verizon, not Apple directly? Let's face it - none of that is Rob's responsibility. He heard me out, quickly determined I was not interested in upgrading to a new iPhone 7 (he did make a good pitch, but I still have kids in grad school), asked if I wanted to consult with Apple (NO!), and then got serious about diagnosing the full scope of my issues and figuring out what his options were. He decided on a SIM card swap, and it worked well. He was able to back up to iCloud (thankfully) and give me my phone back in better working order. He made a note in the file for future customer service reference. We then had one of those conversations that a person remembers for a long time. The contents of that don't belong on YELP or FB, and they aren't the business of even an employer, but I will say this: Verizon has an exceptional employee on the payroll who deserves recognition within the company for being the kind of person who builds customer loyalty through expertise and just being a darn good person. read more
