I occasionally worked on Macs for years at my work, but Mark looked at my dead MacBook Air, which I assumed was a dead brick that I would spend a little on to confirm that, and did something I would have never thought of, simple and effective. The charger worked a TINY bit (like sometimes, if I had it positioned just right it would charge at the rate of about 10% per hour, but also just would stop charging randomly when it hadn't been touched. I called to see about the return policy which is apparently exchange only. They say this was posted but I certainly wasn't too that and there are so many posters and signs all over it doesn't surprise me that I missed it. When I called to find out what my options were the guy just kept telling me to come in and if it was damaged they would give me a new one, I said I wasn't sure I wanted to go through the bother of coming back (it's not that near me) in order to get another one that would probably be faulty too. He hung up on me. I do realize that they likely get scammed by people trying to return things and cheat them somehow, but I was very disappointed at every step of the experience.
