We were customers of Verizon for over 12 years. We recently switched to save some money. Trying to get the 3 most recent bills was a nightmare. We called and called and they never mailed it. Went into the store and they said they could only print 2. The reason we needed the bills was to for a payout reimbursement from our new company. After trying to get it through the 1800 number I went back to the store and these two awesome young guys printed it off so quickly. Other than that working with Verizon has been awful. They don't care about their customers. Why the first person couldn't print out the 3 bills really perplexes me. They close your account online immediately when you deactivate so there's no way to get the bill there. read more

i am going to keep this short as Verizon, in general, and this store, in particular, has already stolen 8 hours of my life and i will never get that back. And that was just my most recent transaction. Bottom line, they are experts at creating problems but 100% inept at fixing them. Robots would provide better customer service than this store. And that assumes that the robots are not equipped with AI. The Verizon of today is the cable company of the 1990's. I know now what it was like living in Russia during Soviet times. I would not be surprised if they recruit at the USPS. Just the worst. read more

The manager at this location is absolutely useless and has zero customer service skills. Her rational and attitude are equal to that of a shrew. Scurrying about with no idea how to do the job of a manager and trying desperately to appear busy while making customers wait an hour that she could have helped. She jumped down my throat instead of greeting me, then stated it's not lilely they could help me. She made up excuses to avoid actually do anything. My boyfriend and I recently got a Verizon plan together and we came in with a question that he had tried to bring to his previous carrier with no luck. The guys at this Verizon store knew how to handle the issue and worked with us to get it resolved in the store. The people are kind and doing their best but oh my god I have never suffered through a worse system. If you have to go for a simple problem prepare to be there for hours, if you have a complex problem you might as well pitch a tent. Their customer support phone line is a joke, it takes at least 45mins to an hour to get to a real person and when you do they try to redirect you to their website (which didn't work and that's why you called in the first place ). read more

Switching we only saved about $10 a month however it was worth is due to the excellent customer service we received from Patrick. I went to the Verizon store in Biddeford to buy a new phone about five years ago, unknown to me, the number was an old Sanford airport number. So i get calls at all times of the day and night from all over the country. I called the airport a number of times asking them to take down the old number from there website but to no avail. since i already put this number on my van, business cards, and my company website its not something i can change now. The Verizon store in Biddeford has spotty customer reception - NOT any more - as I was to open the door a charming young lady, Kendall open the door and said "welcome, what can assist you with today"? As I was looking for a cell phone case, Kendall (sp) was able to provide a variety of choices very professionally. Not very often do you meet a person who has the demeanor, professionalism and where with-all to assist a customer now aday. Most have zero common sense, have zero life experience and could careless about the customer. This store has been particularly challenged to have quality personnel to meet the customers expectation. Kendall is a perfect example of what customer service should be. As a person with over 30 years in sales / marketing and customer service, Kendall is a top notch. read more

I went with my mother to remove my recently deceased father from her account. we waited for about 20 minutes in the store without acknowledgment that we were even there. a simple "we'll be with you in a moment" would have been nice. 4-5 employees walking in and out from the back room. three other customers waiting. unacceptable service. read more

We went to have our phone looked at since it was not powering on. The specialist was there and couldn't figure out what was wrong. Said they would ship a new phone guaranteed next day. Here we are, 3 days later, no phone. When you rely on your phone for work, this is very inconvenient. After putting in a complaint, the manager called me within minuted and proceeded to flat out tell me he was right and we were wrong. I thought customer service tries to make it right for the customer. Not with this carrier. Don't hold your breath when it comes to getting your issues resolved with the so called managers of this place. They were right on top of calling me back about the complaint to point out how I was wrong but not even close to fixing the issue. read more

I've been in here twice. Both times, the guys who helped me were more pleasant than other Verizon's I have been in with few exceptions. Granted, I'm on my way to sopo now bc they didn't have what I needed, but I don't even feel too irritated about it bc they were sweet guys. If I had to go to one Verizon in Maine or RI or NYC (the three most recent places I can recount having to go to one), it would be to the biddo location. Also, it's dead on a Monday night so if you need to go, that's a good time! read more

I just had the worst experience at Verizon tonight. I went in to pay my bill. I go to the machine and as I begin putting my info into the computer I hear a guy yell out to me if I'm paying by card. I turn and say yes. He comes walking towards me stating the machine is being funky. It happens. So he asks me for my number. I give it to him. He puts it in wrong so I give it to him again. He asks how much I want to pay. I don't know the bill offhand so I reply how much do I owe? He gives me a look. It comes up to an amount and I day OK. He puts my card in. He asks me if there is anything else he can do for me so I jokingly reply you don't want to ask me that question. The last time someone here asked me that question I didn't get what I wanted. He looks at me and says is everything ok man? You seem agitated. That took me by surprise! I replied that I'm only joking with you. I get a blank stare. OK then we'll have a good night. I take a look at his name badge. He is the MANAGER! Of the store! Mike....but you may want to grab a personality with a sense of humor. read more

If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. I had the absolute worst experience I have ever had in any kind of customer service situation. I waited for about 30 minutes to be helped, despite watching employees stand there, or walk in and out of the back room not helping anyone. Once someone finally "helped" me, he had no idea what he was doing. He had to ask another employee questions every step of the way, and he still got it wrong. I was told that with the insurance coverage that I pay for every month I will be able to get a replacement phone. After 20 minutes he tells me that I cannot do that. What am I actually paying for with the insurance?!? A question I was unable to get a straight answer for. I end up 'deciding' aka given no option but to get a new phone. I am told that he cannot transfer my information from my old phone to my new phone, instead I am to do that myself at home. While he is out back getting my new phone I hear that another customer is able to get his information transferred to his new phone. I ask why I was told 30 seconds ago that this was not possible. THEN another employee pipes up and starts telling me that they are doing me a favor by having be figure it out on my own and do it on my own. This employee had quite the attitude in telling me this. I needed a new phone due to mine shutting off randomly, with full charge while in the middle of a phone conversation. I HAD to leave this store with a working phone. I pay for my new phone, I put a down payment on it and pay the activation service charge etc.... I am then given the phone in the box. Apparently, not only do I need to figure out how to transfer everything at home, but I also need to figure out how to activate my new phone. Didn't I just pay an activation fee???? UNBELIEVABLE! read more
