Now imagine asking for a raise, only to be told that they don't give raises based on merritt. Now imagine getting an alert from indeed, with a job offer from the company you work for, with a higher starting pay than you currently make after being there for many years! Imagine yourself being, undervalued, underpaid and only getting 2 holidays off per year. Imagine your paychecks showing up late, sometimes as much as 4 days! If you've been a frustrated customer here. Keep in mind that this is how the employees are taken care of. We've got people who have been working in the stores for over a decade, making what the current starting pay is. They've got enough money to sponsor race cars and Motorsports events. The higher ups will buy their friends, pit boss grills and 60" flat screen TV's. (Which they had delivered to our store and made us hold onto until their friend came to pick it up) But what do the dedicated employees get? Annual cost of living increase that hasn't even been enough to get us to the point of the new current starting pay! What a rewarding job.

Been here several times. The staff was nice enough once…read more They used to know what they were doing. However, it has become apparent over the years that they either hire anyone that walks in off the street or simply do not care about their customers. It's sad to see however times changes and so do business, Maybe they will fix themselves someday. I've gone in there and asked for spark plugs for a V8 dodge and they tried to give me spark plugs for a lawnmower. Make sure if you buy anything here you make sure it's what you ask for. I've had tried numerous times to order paint or have paint made up here. Twice on the phone, they have told me they don't make it or never have done it. One front desk member tried to get into an argument over the subject. If you want paint made up for you I recommend going to the gray Nappa and have them order it for you. It will come from the Westbrook store, Even though they say they don't do it. Also, be sure to mention that you have AAA if you have it of course. It will help with the price. Personally, I would avoid this store at all costs.

What a disappointment! I will NEVER go here again. Pick another auto store nearby…read more I came in, with two kiddos in tow, for a new battery at 4:30 and talked to a man who checked the charge on our battery. He said "you just need to let your car run for 15 minutes to see if it recharges." So, not wanting to get stranded somewhere, I pulled the kids out of the car and decided to eat dinner at the lovely restaurant next door. We sat outside as the car charged. 15 minutes went by and I turned my car off and restarted it. It seemed to work, although I was hesitant from the previous day's issues, which I had explained to the worker, yet I went along with it because of what the employee said. We finished our food, and got back into the car at 5:50, the battery sputtered and barely started. They were closing at 6, so I went in and said "The battery's not working, can I buy a new one?" The same gentleman said, "Ok. Well it should be ok until tomorrow, we close in 10 minutes so I can't replace your battery." I looked at him, perplexed, and said, "You knew I just sat with my kids and ate dinner next door, to see if it would work, like you suggested?" He said, "Yeah. Sorry. There is nothing I can do." Um... yes there was! How about quickly replacing my battery before you close? How about realizing that potentially getting stranded on the side of the road with two kids sucks? How about that fact that you saw me waiting, per your suggestion? Do you not want my $160.00? I had a friend meet us at our next stop, where I kept my car running for the duration of our stay. I also will NEVER step foot in this location again. I went to the auto parts store in Windham, where they replaced my battery in under 10 minutes.
