Had to Uber kids to school, call roadside assistance for jump. Was not told until back in person that the reason was THEY NEVER REPLACED THE BATTERY BECAUSE THEY DIDNT SEE IT ON THE PAPERWORK. This was the sole issue that had been discussed for 2 days prior. I'm still pleasant at this point; walk home. Receive call ACCUSING me of not giving them my keys; they strongly believe this because "I gave them the car running". I'm like duh, the battery's dead, that was a convenience TO YOU. At this point, I say "you already didn't render services upon payment in full and now you're telling me you lost my keys, why would I believe you?" I hung up, I'm on my way. On the way on my child's scooter, I get a VM, of course they found the keys. Pete(?) meets me outside, hands me keys, tries to show me "what happened". As I'm already getting in my car, he says "I don't appreciate you hollering at my guy". Well, I don't like the false security of being sent off for paid services not rendered and then getting accused of lying and the possible stress of lost keys on top! Wow! I never even asked for a refund. UNACCEPTABLE.

He was quoting $2,500+ for the steering rack and $553+ for the bumper reinforcement. I took my car to three other reputable shops in the Portland area. I was quoted $337 for the bumper reinforcement with OEM part, and the repair man even told my father and I that we could replace it ourselves because my father was able to remove the bumper cover himself. The other shops I went to told me I only needed my inner tie rod replaced including a wheel alignment. I got this repair done for $220 dollars and my car drives great. It is a 2013 Honda CRV with 70,000 miles that has never had issues on the road. The one difference between going to Carter's and going to the other repair shops is that I went ALONE (without my father) to Carter's a as young woman. I remember when I dropped my keys off at Carter's and the man at the desk called me "sweety." Unprofessional and patronizing. Carters is deceitful, greedy, and untrustworthy. Do not come here unless you want to get taken advantage of.

I understand things get delayed however the person in the showroom was uncaring and his only answer was the same, " i understand your frustration", like he was reading from a script. After a couple weeks I went in person and stood there until they had to wait on me. Got a price and ordered the cap, had it installed, a window cage was missing that I paid for, I called, they said they would credit me. After a month, I had to go in person to force them to wait on me and credit me. Fast forward a year, my son came in and gave all his info to order another cap for our second truck. That was a month ago, still no answer! Go somewhere that actually wants your business, these guys just don't seem to care at all. My car was overdue for a state inspection and the possibility of needing new tires. I called Duval's Service Center on May 2nd to schedule an appointment. They scheduled me for May 13th, which gave me plenty of time to reschedule more important things. I dropped my car off at the agreed upon time and was told that they would look at it that afternoon. One guy was nice and the other was not. Oh, to be pretty and young again. I never received an update from them. I called and it went unanswered. I left two voicemails and haven't gotten a response. I emailed the address listed on their website and haven't gotten a response. They are closed on Saturdays and Sundays which means I will not make it to my medical appointments this weekend and will probably miss my appointment on Monday. Had they told me that they weren't even going to look at my car at the appointment I had made well ahead of time, I would have never left my car with them. They have my car and my keys, so I have no way to get to anything I need to get to since hiring an Uber would be way too expensive and I cannot afford a rental right now. Scumbags, all of them. This is why I hate ever needing anything automobile related done. I wanted to reach out via Twitter, but their account has been suspended for violating Twitter's rules. Which probably means they said something really edgy and awesome.
