I took a rare 2007 AMG63 to Mercedes Benz of Scarborough. It was a pretty bad experience and will…read moredetail it below. I brought it in so it could be fixed up good enough to pass state inspection as I bought it used. I received a call saying they sold the loaner car I was in and asked when I could pick up the car. ( not sure why/how you would sell a car not in your possession but hey all good) (I also think they rushed to get the loaner back and part of the reason the work on my car is was incomplete) They had my car for 8+ weeks and the service was not complete when I went to pick up my car. Firstly I pull off the lot and the check engine light was still on. That's one of the reasons I brought the car there in the first plac3. They claimed it was a part that was broken when they were fixing the car and they would fix it. So I end up leaving the car again. Also, I requested they replace the rear-license plate assembly as there are holes there and unable to fasten a plates. Their "fix"was to jam two screws in the hole, that are lose and jiggling, ( this is not acceptable.) A week later I get the call that the car is ready show up and another part that was supposed to be replaced and paid for was not. I didn't notice the first time because the top was up and you can only see the panel when to top is down. So I tell the service advisor and she says that they will send someone up to fix it. They arrive to my house to fix it and can fully fix it because "they didn't have the tools?" (In my head I think why didn't he bring the tools) ***They have agreed to refund me 265$ for the cost fixing that part. (Update 9/25) So at this point the car is still un finished and I'll just have to consider someone else to fix it. So now the temp registration is up so I go get the car registered and take it for a state inspection locally and the left rearward cross strut has play and needs to be replace in order to pass a state inspection. Like what the **** 5200 dollars worth of work and 400+ of that is an inspection fee and they fix the top left strut for 615 dollars located next to the cross rearward strut and DONT notice that? Mercedes Bens? One of the top of the line brands? I'm just baffled and frustrated and disappointed at the lack of attention to detail and care. I have resorted to emailing back in forth with them. **Update: 9/25 I am meeting with the General Manager Wednesday and they would like the opportunity look at the car and address my concerns. I will let you all know how it goes and update this post.

Horrible, shamefully abysmal customer service, quality control and communication from GM Brandi…read moreLawler and her team. I paid $1500 for Scott Joys to conduct an end-to-end inspection prior to purchasing my vehicle in August, when it passed with flying covers. Upon receipt, the vehicle was inoperative -- issues as simple as broken windshield washers to a dead chassis battery. Dealership took the vehicle for 4 MONTHS to "make it right" and to say they have failed to do so is putting it lightly. I couldn't get a reply via email or phone from anyone on the team, so I had to show up at the office unannounced to get an update. Even that was useless; I came to retrieve it 12/19 as agreed, and immediately identified a new leak in the roof, a broken valve, and rodent droppings throughout the vehicle. I was promised an update from service manager Michael Street by the morning of 12/23, which never happened. I have been unable to get an update from him or anyone on the team, and I have learned via their voicemails that they are out of office through next week, leaving me stranded on Christmas 1,500 miles from home with nowhere to stay, no vehicle and separated from my family. I have no idea when -- and zero faith that -- my vehicle will be ready to take home, and I've spent months waiting for an answer and a fix I've now realized won't come. I wouldn't recommend this branch OR brand to an enemy.

I reached out to Portland Volvo online about a used vehicle they had for sale. John was very prompt…read morein responding and was very personable. Ultimately I decided I wasn't interested and John completely understood. Fast forward a few weeks and I emailed John asking if that vehicle was still available. Unfortunately it had been sold but I continued to work with John to ultimately purchase a certified pre-owned Volvo. I found Portland Volvo to be relaxed and not high pressure. They really want you to find the vehicle that's best for you. Because of schedules, my husband and I ultimately worked with John via email for about a week while the car was being detailed, we finalized the deal that Friday, traded in our car and left with a practically new Volvo. We'll be returning for maintenance, enhancements and future upgrades!

When I went to purchase the vehicle, Michael P gave me a contract that was 2500 more than the online price. They then said that if you click through and look the online price includes a "lease discount". This dealership uses shady tactics. When I pointed out this is a bait and switch and borderline illegal they were defensive and would not honor the clear price listed online. Pic is below of the online price they wouldn't honor. Beware of their tactics and make sure you double check your contracts!
