The counter person who finally waited on me was contrary and pompous. His answers were delayed, slow, as if I ought to have figured something out on my own. Clearly he wasn't interested in helping me, or earning any money for which I was prepared to spend a lot. I am in customer service. I work, front of house and often at a register. I didn't have the time to deal with this guy's baggage which he ought to leave at home. Sad and annoyed I left the store and consider this trip a waste of time. I won't return.

After I found what I needed I walked to the front, and when I passed him I said; "You watching me like a hawk?" His reply was "yeah". I've been followed around in stores before, and I really don't like being profiled. But he admitted what he was he was doing which is accusing someone of being a thief by de facto. I'm not a thief, and have never stolen from a business. I voiced my protest to the guy at the front of the store. I really don't like leaving reviews that are negative because it affects everyone there. But when there's a employee who acts like that I'm sure the business owner would want to be aware. When I go in, I ask where something I need is located in the store and all I want is to just go make a decision and get in and out as quickly as possible. Usually a man/clerk will tag only and mansplain and second guess my choice, or ask me how I know what I need. Basically saying things that are extremely outdated and sexist. I've gone in and watched how male shoppers are treated and it's a whole different thing. If you bring it to the cashiers attention in hopes she will let management know and make a change that fits with this decade, you hear, they're just trying to be gentlemen, hun. If you're a woman that is capable and isn't a damsel in distress, you shouldn't go there. It's an absurd and incredibly upsetting experience.
