What a terrible experience. Trevon was the store associate that helped me, avoid him at all cost. He switched my phone accounts/numbers with my wife's- then made me drive to the Fairfield store where they were able to fix the problem he created. I was wrongfully charged for his mistake and he then didn't take accountability for his mistake and even blamed me. Not to mention the yelling and unprofessional conduct that went on. To begin with I'm a "challenged senior" when it comes to IPhones, & Smartphones so occasionally I need to use the tech support services at this Verizon store. Everyone of the staff I've ever dealt with there has been courteous , patient and professional, particularly Christopher Elroy. I also appreciate that they're not far from home and rarely crowded. Be careful in this location either they dont have any knowledge of phones or are only out for their commissions. My 75 year old mother went to the store because her iPhone screen was dim to ask for help and they spent 30 minutes trying to sell her a new phone and plan told her the "digitizer" was bad. Luckily she called me at home and before spending $800 I checked the phone and she had accidentally dimmed the screen a 2-second fix. If you cant figure that out in 30 minutes knowing you are dealing with a 75 year old woman on a fixed income either you are taking advantage for a commission or need a refresher on your most popular phone brand. Spoke to the manager and all he can do was defend how Trey spent 30 minutes with my mom which to me is worse that you couldnt check that option instead of 30 minutes pushing a sale. I never review anything bad or good but when someone tries to take advantage of a senior especially someone's mother it deserves mentioning before you shop there. read more

I went to Verizon looking for assistance in changing up my phone from a flip phone to an old IPad 5 C my daughter gave to me. The store manager Michael Piparo was amazing and incredibly helpful. I was reluctant to go to this store because of a terrible experience I had with the previous manager but found that Michale the new manager was willing to go the extra mile to help me. He spent a considerable amount of time trying to transfer the number form the flip phone to the IPhone. After all that was said and done there was no charge! Michael explored my billing to save me some money on my account and compared the program I am with to the current promotion. After 5 months my wife just realized we are being charged for an additional line. This a charge caused by a fraudulent sale of HUM that was added to my phone upgrade. The store manager did the sale and added the HUM to my account without my knowledge. Verizon customer service would not remove the charge without a $110 termination fee. They recommended going back to the store and talking to the manager. I have decided to take the matter to corporate N.Y. office. I'm also sure that I was charged a line activation fee. I am expecting a return call from someone corporate today. From some of the other reviews I suspect that they have been practicing this fraud for a while. read more

Worst Experience Ever! My mom went into the store to replace her iphone 6. She is on my plan so the agent had to call me to confirm she could make the change. Once I said yes she could upgrade the phone the shadiness began. She asked for the cheapest upgrade and the manager assured her the iphone X was the cheapest phone in the entire store due to a promotion (how could this be true?). What he didn't tell her was that this was part of some "backdoor" promotion as he called it, and to get it, he was going to activate HUM on my account which entails adding a new phone line ($40 activation fee) along with a monthly charge for the line and the ANOTHER monthly charge for the HUM service. She was not aware of any of this and didn't even understnad what the HUM is/does. Once we realized what happened I called Verizon and they said they would remove the charges but we had to return the HUM. We went in there together to return the HUM device and the moment the sales associate saw her and heard me say we wanted to return the HUM he got extremely agressisve and angry. He was not even willing/able to explain the charges or even to have a conversation. He just angrily talked in circles. I have never experienced anything like this in my life. Thankfully I had already spoken to Verizon Corporate and I knew they would take care of the charges once we returned the HUM. From beginning to end this guy was so shady and dishonest about the charges, not to mention inappropriately angry and aggressive. I never complain or even write reviews but this one warrented some action. I'm filing a formal complaint with corporate too. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. read more

This store SUCKS! They talked me into getting the Hum Device when I was switching to unlimited to save money on my bill each month. Come to find out it added to my bill and they failed to switch me to unlimited. So my family used data under the impression we were now unlimited when we were not. I had to call customer service and they worked the whole thing out, all I had to do was return the Hum Device to the store. The manager came over and screamed at me for returning it with no box. I explained how they mislead me into getting this in the first place and all I was there to do was to return it, no one should be spoken to the way he was talking to me. I was shaking when I left the store because of how poorly he treated me. I had to go back in today because I was incorrectly charged this month. He once again was very condescending and spoke to me as if I were an idiot. I had to call customer service again and they were able to work it all out for me, because he failed to help. I would not recommend this location to anyone and have made 2 formal complaints to corporate about how I was treated and how they scam their customers. read more

This place was awesome. Jimmy was a fantastic sales associate. I went in there just to buy a new power cord for my car and Jimmy took the time to go over my account with me. He informed me that I had an upgrade available and that because I was a teacher I got a discount on service. Two things I had no idea about until he brought it to my attention. He could have easily just let me buy my cord and be on my way but he took the time to go over my account and put me in the best situation possible. Thanks Jim. My phone stopped working. I needed to go to the store and get it fixed. I was dreading this. I walked into the Wireless Zone and Michael Piparo could not have been more helpful. He was so patient with me. I kept having to text my husband for our account info and Michael never made me feel like I was wasting his time. He offered me an amazing deal on some phones. He made this entire experience so pleasant. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. He answered all my questions and never once did I feel pressured into purchasing something I didn't want or need.
