AVOID!!! Do not go to this store. While they are an "authorized retailer" they function separately from Verizon (it's messed up that Verizon even allows these locations to exist). Recently I tried to pre-order the new iPhone, did so at the store and later that day, I realized the employee made a mistake with the order. I called Verizon customer service and they resubmitted a new order for the phone. One week later, I go to this retail store to pick up my new phone only to be told that they denied receipt of the phone and sent it back to the Verizon warehouse because it wasn't on their inventory list since they weren't the ones who placed the order. Verizon customer service even confirmed that this is not how the store should have handled it, they should have accepted the order or at the very least contacted me. And the reason they likely denied receipt of the phone is because they wouldn't receive commission on the purchase. This was handled completely unprofessionally and borderline unethically. If you need to go to a retailer, go to the location on High Ridge, which apparently is a real Verizon store. Not this shoddy location. read more

The store manager it straight up rude. My parents had two encounters with him. The first time over charging, the second time he wouldnt let my parents return a WiFi router. He said he wouldn't give them back s**** if he didn't want to because he was the store owner and could do what ever he wanted. Also threatening to call the cops. The store manager at this location was very rude. When I questioned why I wasn't told that there was an extra set up fee that I had to pay for purchasing the phone from this store. The manager told me that it would be my fault if the store wasn't there in a few years. He continued to be rude even when I wasn't speaking to him but to the sales person who is helping me. Would have been an okay experience if they weren't scammers. Tried to tell me the new phone trade in deal requires you to take their POS modem and sign up for their at home internet. Turns out you don't and I cancelled it immediately. Now I have the lovely task of return this garbage. They upsell everything and don't have any deals. so i came in on Tuesday 8/12/25 as my phone sim reader was not working. they tried to up sale me and scam me knowing i had insurance on my phone very pushy sales man. i ended up going to verzion on high ride took care of me and told me they was tryna sale me on a new phone when the new iphone 17 i coming out and i told them that but they dismissed me. i received my i wanted to activate so i went to the store on hope street next to my house this is where it gets extremely unprofessional i walked in told them i needed my phone activated and then i asked him for his business card told him i was gonna call cooperate he lost his top he yelled at me to get out the store was getting up in my face what it looked like he was about to strike me he snatched the business card away from my hand and threatened my life and threaten to show up to my job while screaming to get the fuck out his store yelled said he is the store owner and said he doesn't care what verizon does he makes his own rules and its his store. the fact that you guys have this thug as a owner is absolutely insane i'm even considering calling the police and making a police report as he said he will show up to my job and god knows what he will do. all because i asked for his business card. verizon please do better if this is an actual store owner i might need to cancel my phone services as i do not conduct business with thugs. i hope you guys take this in consideration as i was in fear of my life and still am as he could show up to my job as he said i made a claim already thru verizon. i advise nobody to go to verizon on hope street as u will be approached by a thug owner. read more

**MICHAEL IS NO LONGER WORKING AT THIS STORE!!!** I used to LOVE this store and go any time I needed help with my phone or needed to buy new accessories. Michael was amazing and so was his staff. Everyone was knowledgeable and was always willing to help. I heard that Michael was no longer at this store and was devastated. I went to the store looking to purchase a few accessories and I'll never be back. The guy that helped me was trying to overcharge me and was saying anything just to make a sale. Good Afternoon, I am writing to you today to inform you of a VERY positive experience that I had at Verizon Wireless on Hope Street (Stamford, CT). Over the past few days, I have been having some issues with my old phone and needed a new one. Both Verizon in Riverside and Norwalk (CT) were awful and not helpful. The representative in Norwalk even stated, "You should just go on Amazon and buy a new phone" without even looking into my account or anything else. At the same time, Riverside was more concerned about talking about the $30 charge to transfer data while they just sit around and get food delivered for their personal enjoyment. Instead, Hope Street was the complete opposite! I was fortunate to met Alejandro Melo who is a Sales Representative at the store. He went above and beyond to get everything taken care of for me and get me home with a great quality new phone. Throughout the entire process, he was very detailed, patient, and genuine. He explained the entire process and was able to look up many decent offers for me (which the other stores did not do). I cannot thank him enough for his helpfulness. As a result, this will be my "go to" Verizon and I highly recommend this store to anyone! Thank you again for a great experience. read more

I canceled a device with customer service and returned the device back to the the store as I was told by the representatives to later find out that I should of never canceled my service with the representatives but instead with the store - on top of that this idiot did not want to do his " job" and did not document / note my account ! Prior to yesterday (4/4/17) I hadn't visited this Verizon but I'm sure glad I did. Usually I'd go to the mall which was always crowded and a pain, hope street is much more convenient. You have to go see Paul Anderson! A true professional, gentleman, not pushy at all and beyond helpful. I ordered the red iphone 7 and the whole process was so easy. Paul took care of everything! I received the phone pretty quickly (3 days to be exact) and didn't have to do much when I went back to have everything transferred over. When my boyfriend and I first got to Verizon it was empty, shortly thereafter quite a few people came in with only Paul and Michael there. They both handled everything professionally and were amazing! Extremely happy! You will be too if you decide to go to Paul. read more

I went in on Sunday for an upgrade and had a great Verizon experience. Generally during upgrades I need to be on guard as I've been sold tablets, phones, and services that I either don't need or are not the best available and I am then stuck with the items for 2 years. On Sunday, Mike explained all my choices and made unbiased suggestions for phones. Not only did he help get me the best deal available for the best phone, he also helped me transfer my information, choose a proper case, and applied my screen protector. He clearly explained all the charges both for that day and my upcoming bill to avoid any surprises. I even had to go back the next day to exchange my case and screen protector (the exchanges were just based on personal preference), and Mike did this without any hesitation to make sure I was happy with my purchases. I travel 45 minutes from Whitestone to conduct all my Verizon Wireless business at this specific store. Every experience I have had at this store has been pleasant. All employees have been knowledgeable about any issues I've ever presented and always are truthful in regards to pricing. The store manager, Michael, has been in the cell phone business for quite a while so he definitely knows his stuff. He has saved me hundreds a month on my phone bill by explaining to me how I could cut my data usage down and removing unnecessary features/services that I did not need that were jacking up the price of my bill. Sales associate Hope is always a joy to do business with as well. Store is always extremely clean and organized as well, with minimal wait time. I am always able to find what I am looking for here, and if not they are more than happy to order the item for me. read more

The whole staff here is exceptional!!! I was paying an arm and a leg for 3 phones and Mike helped me not only bring the price down but helped me upgrade 2 out of the 3 phones.
