Initially I was not going to give this store a great review at all. But they took the time to respond to my review very professionally showing they care about the customers' experiences. I had an appointment, got there early and still had to wait. But it's not the end of the world. I got an offer via text from Verizon. I called the 800 number and it was a little bit complicated so I decided I wanna sit face-to-face, and go over the terms. When I met with the representative, he was not familiar with that exact offer and suggested several times that I should go back and call the 800 number instead. My initial reaction was that I felt like I didn't fit the box of the customer they were looking for because I was looking for a specific program and had quite a few questions about how it worked. What I will say, is it's probably an issue of training. As a former sales manager of hundreds of people, it would've been better if they sat down and tried to understand what I was looking for and then explain what they could offer. It may have worked out that they got the Sale. Ultimately I did take the new plan when it was explained to me correctly. But the woman on the phone took a good 20-25 minutes answering all my questions. It was a win-win for both Verizon for me. read more

My wife and I spent most of a day re-signing up with Verizon with a verbal agreement that the monthly bill would be $95. I have been unable after three days trying to reach the sales person by his personal phone and email. I called the 800 number to hear my bill is $195. I am furious and left a message that if they could not honor their agreement, we would cancel the service. Purchased a phone for my son last week. Had them look at my cracked phone. Was told I could get a replacement through zagg because it's under warranty, which I did. Was also told by our sales person to bring it in anytime in the future and they will replace it for me. So I did, a week later when I got the replacement glass. Only thing, when I brought my cracked phone to the exact sales person, a week later, I was told that they don't replace them but they'll help me out this time.... Why did the story change in a week!! I was very taken aback by this because he told me one thing when he wanted to make a sale for my son's phone, yet another when I showed up with my phone. Leo the assistant manager has obviously not been rd trained is how to resolve issues as he brushes off even minor issues and puts it back in the customer's lap. This afternoon I was in the store ( which was very crowded) and when I asked Leo for help in accessing my account, his answer was for me to call customer service. I just left this store with my phone problem solved at no cost. It related to a problem with the charging port and I mentioned that I thought I might need to buy a phone. They fixed the issue for me on the spot. They could have easily sold me a new phone but did not. Horrible customer service. I visited twice in the last year. Both times i feel like i am in a emergency room of an overcrowded hospital. You sign in, nobody pays attention to you, wait for 30-40 minutes with other very sad customers roaming the store. You can't even sit anywhere. Do NOT buy any products from this store!!! They are scammers!! They sold a product, then "set it up" in the back. Took off the actual Apple screen and replaced with an inferior one which promptly broke. When we sent it off using our Apple Care, it was returned due to unauthorized modification. This made no sense to us as we (a) didn't know what that meant, (b) hadn't had the phone long enough to modify anything, (c) couldn't imagine what they were talking about. So, we brought it to the Apple Store and they confirmed by checking it and told us what happened - our screen had been replaced at THIS VERIZON STORE WHICH HAS SOME UNETHICAL people working and running it! We went to Verizon and they had the gall to accuse us of replacing our own screen! Which (a) We don't even know how the heck to do this! and (b) why would we??? Consistent with previous reviews, I was very unhappy with the customer service and would not recommend it. In the process of making a simple phone upgrade, the store made several mistakes which caused me to have to return to the store, and make two lengthy calls to Verizon customer service so that I resolved significant charges. I was there in June 2015 because my phone was turning on, but just cycling. After waiting around just to get on the list, I waited another 10 minutes before anyone helped be. They had no idea what to do with the phone or how to fix it. So they offered to get me a new phone. But instead of upgrading (I had my other phone for 2 1/2 years and due for an upgrade), they listed the phone as damaged and put it in as a warranty. So instead of being able to keep my old phone, I was asked to return it. The Verizon salesman never told me that, I only found out when I saw my phone bill and was being charged for the old phone. There were text messages on the phone that I was sent last October when my dad passed away that I wanted to keep. The store also never told me how to "clean" my phone. I wasn't about to send my old phone back with all the information that was still on it....contacts, passwords, etc.. I finally called Verizon customer service and they told me how to clear all the data on my old phone. I've also never been told how to get the information off my memory card. Fortunately I was able to retrieve that before I sent the phone back. I was also contacted by the solutions manager my email, I emailed him back to the email it was sent to. He said to contact him by email, but it wasn't listed. I listed all my issues, but heard nothing!!! I have told my co-workers and friends not to go to this location. They are horrible!!! And I will never go to this store ever again, even though I live in North Stamford, Any other store, but definitely not this one!!! read more

Ralph one of the managers is amazing. He truly did not give up on finding a solution to my cell phone. I had to leave at a certain time, and he went out of his was to make sure the job was finished while I was out of the store. He even contacted me like he suggested he would. This place sucks! I like to do my business in person whenever possible--talking eye-to-eye with a knowledgeable sales or tech person. They used to have a kiosk to check-in and an orderly and friendly staff. Well the kiosk is gone and its chaos there now. I waited for 10 minutes until I got my name on the roving check-in guy's tablet (while folks just barged in ahead and distracted anyone who help them). Then--once my name was "listed"--I waited another 10 minutes while folks continued to stream in and jump the queue. What a friggin' joke Verizon - you blew it big time. read more

Terrible customer service! The clerk, Jerome, who sold me my phone manged to "lose" my photo gallery and told me to go onto the Google Drive to get it back. The store manager, Dan, was no better. Seriously, who does this and just walks away from the problem, leaving it to the customer to solve? Neither the clerk nor this manager understand that when you make a mistake, you solve it; you don't just walk away and leave it to the customer to solve. Not only will I not ever buy a phone from Verizon again, I will be ending my Verizon Wireless service in favor of another wireless carrier. I had a horrible experience! Last Wednesday my husband and I walked in because a customer service person had told my husband earlier in the day that we could save money on our monthly bill. We came in later that day. Jerome said we could save money by reducing our gigs of data. Then he said he had a special promotion. He could sell us a jetpack, a mobile hotspot, for only .99. I asked him if there was a monthly charge. He said No. I asked him again. He said NO. My step-daughter asked us a few days later if we could buy her a jetpack for .99. We went into the Verizon and spoke with Gabby. She said there is a $20 monthly charge. I said that Jerome said there is no monthly charge. I said that Jerome had lied to us. She said that maybe I WAS LYING!! I became very angry. I said get me the manager. She took an attitude and said if you're going to take that tone I'm walking away, which she did. The manager, Dan, came over. He was so nice. Apologized. He said he'd let us return our jetpacks with no restocking fee. Jerome lied to us and Gabby accused me in front of a throng of customers of being a liar. Do NOT go to this store!! read more
