I took my Apple Watch in to get fixed in early December. It needed to be sent to Richmond because…read morethat's apparently where they have the sautering tool needed to fix the batter. By December 15, I'd received a call that the watch was fixed, but then they backtracked and said it was still losing its charge. From that point on, it was radio silence; I called them on 12/22 and12/31, each time without them being able to tell me what was wrong with the device. By 1/30, they told me that the device was unfixable and then would send it back to Charlottesville to get it to me. And again, I heard nothing. When I called on 2/10, I finally spoke with someone helpful who'd admitted that the watch had been lost in the mail. I asked that person what could be done, and they offered to see if the company could help me replace the device; I asked to get that in writing in the form of an email, which they obliged and sent on 2/11. I've now responded to that email two times (on 2/14 and 2/17) hoping to move forward with the replacement of my device or some kind of a refund, and no one has answered. Fruit Fixed showed embarrassingly poor communication and bad customer service. I have no idea how their rating is so high - I feel like many of these reviews can't be legitimate. I now have to purchase a new watch and can't use my previous device as a trade-in because they have refused to help me when it was lost in transit between their two stores, and when apparently no one who worked there even realized it was gone. Pathetic.

I urge everyone to look at Fixed Fruit's responses to the reviews. In each case, they twist the fact to place blame on the customer. This is an untrustworthy business that is unwilling to stand behind their work. Strong recommendation to avoid! ORIGINAL REVIEW: I visited Fixed Fruit for a simple battery replacement on my iPhone, but the experience left a lot to be desired. During the repair, the technician damaged my phone's screen. Although they admitted responsibility, they still tried to charge me for a new screen instead of fixing their mistake at no cost. While the staff were not rude, their unwillingness to correct an error they caused raises concerns about the ethics of this business. If you're looking for a repair shop that you can trust, look elsewhere

I actually had no idea there was a Verizon Wireless in Charlottesville until a friend told me. I…read morewas actually about to drive 2 hours back to NoVa to hit the Fair Oaks Verizon. Anyways, I'm happy I found this place and I was quite surprised at how large the store was especially in Charlottesville. After reading the negative review, I wasn't expecting much when I walked in, I just wanted my phone activated and my contacts transferred from my old phone to my new one. To my surprise, not only was the customer service rep helpful and friendly, she even helped me package up my old phone so that I could just drop my old phone off at Fedex on my way back home. I was super happy at how quick the service was especially since I was slightly hungover from the night before and didn't want to be dealing with rude people... This will definitely be my go-to place if I have any problems with my phone. I am only giving 4 stars b/c I would like to see how their service is if I were to have any problems w/ my BB (i've been a little spoiled by the Fair Oaks Verizon in giving me replacements w/out insurance) so I'm going to wait & to see how their service compares :)

I told them in December of 2025 to turn it off, again in January ---------------to April of 2026. Each month I called I promised they would have it disconnected. It was a dead phone and it could not be fixed. So around April the 3rd I told them AGAIN, DISCONNECT MY CELL, even though I paid them again and it was not due until April 23, I told them to disconnect my other cell also. I di not need their business. What a rip off. From December 2025 to April I was paying for two phones and only one worked. I feel like they just stole $540.00 from me but they don't care . After 25 or 30 years of being a loyal customer, they don't care.

I asked again, no cost, no contract and was told no. Now, my fault, wife pays the bills, they have been charging me $28 per month. Called and complained and asked for refund. Nope. Asked them to stop charging me for the phone, nope. Had to send in my old phone, asked for that back since I had paid for it, nope. So not only did I have to pay $1,000 for new phone, they took my old phone that I also paid for. Have been a customer for 15 yrs. Not anymore. Was paying over $200 per month for at least 2 yrs. Go to T-mobile. Less expensive, rate never goes up. ATT lied to me and stole over $1500 from me.

The bills are nearly 2x as much. The discounts not present and when asked about it, "well, it's not automatic, I mean pay the bill and you should see it over the next couple or three months. If you don't see it in three months come back in." Really? The discount is on one account but not others. The bill does not match anything talked about and overall pathetic support and service. Feel comfortable about going into the store but get the customer service number as you will need it to fix the mess they create on your account.

This is the laziest most unknowledgeable store I have ever been to. This store does not care about…read morehelping you, just about selling products. I wish I had read reviews about them before going in, but I will NEVER use this store again. I wanted to trade in my S8 for a S24. I paid them to transfer the data from my old phone to my new phone. As they were doing the transfer they told me I had too many photos and it would take a long time to do the transfer. They asked me if I wanted to finish the transfer at home. I said sure because I'd already waited an hour for them to do the transfer and it wasn't even halfway done. They showed me how to do the transfer at home, but did not tell me I would need to bring the phone back to get the trade in deal, and I left. This mess up was on me, because I should not have left when I paid for them to finish the transfer. When I went back within the hour because I could not figure out how to get the phones to transfer they told me the transfer had been completed. But when I left they told me it was not done... Do they not know when the transfers are done? Not sure where the miscommunication happened on that one. When I got home my Verizon account said I owed $800. I specifically told the sales associate multiple times that I wanted a phone that would be free with my trade in. After driving back to the store and asking why my account said I owed $800 when I told them I wanted a phone that would be free to me, they then explained that it would remain on my account until I traded in my old phone. Why did no one tell me this when I left with my two phones?? Then, after getting the phone my google started saying I had no available storage. My email is saying I will stop receiving emails in a week. The problem is I have deleted stuff in my Google drive 3 times and it still keeps coming back. I was hoping they could help me with that, but I should have known better than to expect an ounce of care from this store. I learned through the Verizon in Waynesboro that when the Staunton Verizon turned on my phone's backup to transfer things from my old phone to my new phone they transferred EVERYTHING, not just the photos. I then went back to the Staunton store, explained the problems I was having with storage, and all the sales associate I spoke with told me was "that's run through google, we don't know how to do that." I responded with "A Verizon sales associate doesn't know how to turn off backup on a phone?" He responded with "That is run through Google." When I tell you these people are doing the bare minimum I'm not kidding. They also signed me up for Disney Plus and other services without telling me I would have to pay after the first month. If you want people who actually know what they're doing, because clearly the sales associates in Staunton are just there to do the BARE minimum and get as much money out of you as possible, I recommend Verizon in Waynesboro, VA. They actually took the time to try and help me. If there was an option to give 0 stars I would.

I spent nearly 45 minutes in a chat with tmobile, picking a home internet plan and a bundled phone…read moreplan and it was the last day to capture a $300 rebate. I went through the whole credit check, gave all my info, including my phone's internal ID #, etc, agreed to the price, the terms, the promotion, and then the live agent in the chat asked, "Would you like a second phone, Connie?" I asked, "Who's Connie? Is that a typo?" All of a sudden, it stopped saying I was in a chat with a live agent and that changed to "virtual agent", and it asked if I was a new or existing customer...the first question it had asked me 45 minutes earlier. I called tmobile and it said there was a TWO HOUR wait time to speak with someone, which I couldn't do at that time. I went into a new chat later, (which was then AFTER the expiration date on the $300 rebate offer) and I asked tmobile to honor their $300 rebate offer which I had accepted in time but which didn't get finalized due to tmobile's fault. They would not honor it. It doesn't give me a good feeling about tmobile...not only is their infrastructure questionable if they are calling me by a different customer's name in their chat, but even worse, they are not honoring their offers which I stated over and over, ON TIME, that I accepted. It's dishonest business.
