Went from cable to IPtv without any warning from the company. Boxes just arrived in the mail…read more Directions or information about the change arrived days later (ridiculous). They're saving money again. Our average on the My Shows averages around 22% so has been much lower. There's no info about when recording was made for too many shows. It rarely shows "new" so I don't know if watching a repeat since I don't trust the summary of the show and I like dates on old shows and that stopped. There's still internet drop out (is it from rcn/astound throttling again?) There's still tiling (why bother calling tech support) and I'm paying now for eero (lowest end) because we have plaster walls and went through mini hell to get it set so it didn't drop every minute or so. I'm paying for a service, why in the world are we paying for extra devices to make it sort of work (and a modem that's so old, it doesn't exist even for parts anywhere). The great news is my spouse finally said she's had it and we're going to Service Electric (also bad but can't be worse at this point) next year. I've been pushing to change companies for 7 years ... Prices ridiculous for old equipment and if you chat with support then you call the company about issues or billing, you get multiple different answers. I'm fed up and have been for too long. No more reviews or updates. Can't get worse and we're finally switching.

Dear Yelpers, My…read morecompany has hosted with INetU for 11 years. We placed our first small test server with the company in January 2000. Since then, we've grown to five servers pushing through approximately 3 to 4 terabytes of data each month. We run RedHat Linux Enterprise on all of our servers. These machines are managed by INetU fully and completely. They handle all of the security, upgrades and maintenance. The machines we use include: one master Write/Read MySQL database server, three Apache web servers with MySQL read-only slaves, and one email and DNS machine. In our time with INetU, we've found the staff to be amazingly supportive and knowledgable, consistently going above and beyond what we'd expect. When we have questions or queries that aren't exactly part of their job, they do the research and help us get the answers we need. Their follow through on issues is second to none -- we only wish our other vendors would be even half as responsive as INetU. (Verizon ant AT&T, you could both learn at least a few things from these guys!) When we need something, they're just a phone call or support ticket away. I love that when I pick up the phone to call them, I immediately get in touch with someone who knows what they're talking about and can help. On the rare occasion that the person I reach can't help me, I'm still always amazed at how easy and fast the escalation to someone else is. There is NO twisting arms and pulling teeth like at some of my other vendors, *cough Dell, cough Verizon*. I remember about a year ago when we were having issues with speed on our site. We believed that simply adding another server to our setup would be the best solution and proceeded to ask our account manager (Brian) to put together a quotation for a new server. We were OK with the added cost of doing that, but in explaining our needs, Brian suggested we first talk with their engineering department to see if there was something we could tweak in our configurations to save us from adding another machine. A few emails and a couple days later, INetU's engineering staff had helped us change some of the settings in our Apache configuration and, without adding any new equipment and without any added expense, our sites were running faster than they ever had... over a year later, that change is still in place and we're still using just 5 servers. We love the online Client Center and ticketing system. It makes tracking our usage and our support issues very simple and convenient. We also love the security and piece of mind that the client center provides. In all our time with INetU, we have NEVER had any extended outages and short outages for something like a hardware failure are always handled quickly with care and concern. I strongly recommend anyone looking for managed hosting services to check out INetU. In fact, I recommended them to my brother-in-law back in August 2010 -- his company reviewed various hosting companies and chose INetU. They began migration in October and after a few months of testing, they went live in January 2011. They've been extremely pleased with INetU's network, service AND the money they're saving over the previous hosting provider. Thanks for the 11 years of great service INetU... looking forward to many, many more! ~~ Kenn W. 21x20 Media, Inc. http://www.21x20.com/

We have been hosting on InetU since June 2002. Prior to finding InetU, we had been hosting with a…read morelocal ISP that could not keep pace with our growth. When I spoke first to Dev -- before signing the contract -- I told him my only criteria for success was that I was able to sleep nights. It has been my only standard since signing. He promised his company would not ever let me down. In 9 1/2 years, InetU has never forgotten that single promise that has kept me loyal for this long in an industry that pushes ever forward to cheap and free. There are probably hosting services out there that are far cheaper than InetU, but I'm certain that none of them would ever make -- and keep -- such a promise. At every step of our growth, InetU has been ahead of us, monitoring and recommending solutions that would keep our services up and running for our clients and brands, especially during new server migrations (there have been several, including two moves to separate dedicated MySQL servers.) My account rep keeps in contact with me regularly and the tech support staff is top notch with each having a width range of skills. There is no "escalation" process; issues are just handled with the first phone call. And the few times we have called in a panic due to some human error on our part, restores have been quick and complete. I'm still sleeping nights and expect to as long as we are hosting with InetU. And I don't see that changing anytime soon!

We are finishing up week #1 of the one-month trial and so far the speed tests have been good (i.e…read more around 800 megabytes per second for download). Our time with Honest has been good so far. The highlights: Andre did the install and I've not met many ISP techs in my life but we could tell right away he knows his craft inside out and enjoys it. We spoke to Rachel later to iron our some contract/money issues and that went very smoothly as well. It also helps that when you dial the number, you don't get that [expletive] "Hi! Thank you for calling [name of (expletive) company here]. Please listen carefully as our menu options have recently changed (no they have not). Also we are experiencing higher than average call volume, which is our way of saying that we don't know the concept of "average." You get a ACTUAL PERSON (or at least a very convincing artificial intelligence), thank heck. Lastly: the night of 1/6, our speed tanked. I texted the customer support # and within minutes got an answer, and shortly thereafter our down/up speeds were back to normal. All in all, so far so good.... my Cherophobia keeps insisting that /something/ will go tits up but so far it's been solid!

I just got service in Dec from Honest. I came back from a five week trip and had no internet upon my return. They diagnosed it as a problem in the lines coming to my unit (so not my issue) but it will still take them 3 days to come out and restore service. I understand that they are less expensive than others, but I can't really deal with outages like this. If it happens one more time, I'll move on to a more reliable provider
