Every time I go into the Verizon store (off of Daisy Mountain), I am blown away by the customer service provided to me... Today, specifically, I want to write a review for Jeremy Jennings. Jeremy has several times stopped what he was doing and gone above and beyond to help me with technical aspects of my iPhone and computer that I didn't understand. He's extremely patient and helpful and never has made me feel like an inconvenience, but instead treats me like a valuable customer! I've been a customer for 26 years and my experience at the Verizon "authorized" store here in Anthem on Daisy Mountain was the worst experience imaginable. I pre-ordered a new iPhone 17 on September 12. Weeks and weeks go by without a word on my phone despite calling Customer Service twice and going into the store and being told BY THE MANAGER he would get back to me ASAP. Of course that never happened. on the third try to Customer Service I actually got someone helpful. Bottom line I was lied to about what the phone was going to cost, the order was flagged as fraudulent and went into a black hole. Worst Customer Service I've ever experienced not to mention being completely lied to about what the phone was going to cost with my trade-in. Hundreds of dollars. The employee who helped me, Dalton, was nice enough but clearly he didn't have a clue what he was telling me when I went to order the phone. Bottom line, I will be heading to the Apple Store in Phoenix and talk to professionals. read more

Horrible experience. I arrived at 10:30am to get a new iPhone 16 and trade in my old iPhone and worked with Dalton. I didn't get out of there until 2:30pm. My girlfriend went to a corporate store and completed the same process in less than an hour. This was only the beginning of the hassles I experienced. Their store policies are not customer friendly. When it came time to pay for my new iPhone taxes (about $120) their credit card machine declined two of my credit cards and my girlfriend's credit card. We called our banks and they confirmed that no transaction came through on their end and ultimately Dalton determined that the payment issue was on their end. At that time I suggested that I pay by cash and he said "we do not accpet cash" but he could unwind the transaction. I said, "are you kidding me. I just spent 4 hours here and you think that I want to reverse this transaction due to your technical issues!." I then suggested that he put the balance on my monthly cell bill which he stated wasn't possible. I then stated that he needs to accept my cash or ofer some other method of payment or hold my cash as a deposit until they get their systems up and running. I told him that i needed to leave with my new iPhone in hand since I run a finance company and can't be without it. He then said stated if I left with my new iPhone that he would call the police for theft? First off, why would he even need to go there. I'm a 55 year old professional who is offering to leave cash for my payment or as a deposit and offered to come back to their store to pay when their payment systems are working. Not having it could cost me a lot of money. Very strange that this is his default line for customers when there's an issue that is on their end. After much conversation and waiting for Dalton to trouble shoot their payment system, he eventually got approval to accept cash. I'm not saying that this is Daltons fault. He may be just doing what he has been trained to do. This store needs to have more customer freindly policies before I would ever consider returning. read more

Just don't go in here. This is not a real Verizon store. They over charge and have terrible support numbers you have to call to get your order. For example I wanted to purchase something to protect my new Apple Watch, they charged me $40 for liquid glass protector. Same brand at Walmart is $9.99. What a scam read more

I called Verizon and purchased a new phone. They set up me picking the phone up here. I had to wait 3 days before they told me they had one, one that had been there the whole time. I went in and they said the computer wouldn't release it so I had to cancel my order and reorder it. When I called in he told me to "keep it simple" to cancel. Totally sketchy, but I need the phone for a trip the next day. The second it was canceled he tried to upgrade me to a more expensive phone. I said no, this one is fine. He then rang it up. $20 more than what I paid from Verizon and more tax. They said I could call Verizon and ask them for a credit. When I got back from my trip, I called Verizon and they told me this was a 3rd party store...why would they send me to a 3rd party store!?!? My only recourse was to return it and purchase it again at a corporate Verizon where they would credit me everything back. What a pain. Plus these people have my information. If they are willing to lie to my face, then they could do something else too. DO NOT GO HERE EVER!!!!! The "manager" was in on it too because he came out twice to verify it couldn't be released to me. A couple of scum bags just trying to get credit for a sale. read more

Horrible experience never get anything from this place. STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!!!! I've been trying for 4 months to try to return a Internet box that I never even wanted but the Manager Mike insisted that it was a great deal and that it would only be $60 a month. Once I trying to run the box at my home I lost all Internet connection. So I tried return the box and all they could saw was you need to call this # !!!. After calling the number I was advised to return to the store. So I tried and again all they could saw was that they don't take returns. Later I got my bill and noticed that it's not $60 a month it's $100 a month plus the purchase of the BOX. STAY AWAY from this place. read more

Ashley said she couldn't port my numbers over after I joined Verizon. I had account number and pin with me and all I got was the run around and a number to call that is very confusing. I've gone to this Verizon store a couple times before and the service hasn't been to bad, I got done what needed to be done. I went in a couple days ago to have my phone looked at and possibly upgraded. I went In around 2pm on Monday July 6th and Cassandra helped me. She told me I was eligible for an upgrade but it wouldn't let her do it on her end and I needed to go home and contact customer service to confirm that I was eligible for it because she couldn't call them with me in the store? So I went home, contacted customer service and got the ok for a new phone upgrade and was told to go back to the store. I went back to the store at 4:40ish. We walked in and Cassandra was helping another couple and then there was a couple in front of me. She clearly knows we are all her and says multiple times to us "sorry for the wait and thanks for our patience." As time went by 4 other people came in. At 5:45 she says to us all in the store " what do you need help with" and I told her to get a new phone like we talked about earlier. She says "yea so it's 5:45 and the store closes at 6pm so they will be the last people I help" mind you it's still the same people that were being helped when we came in. She was the only one working which is also BS, 10 people in the store and one employee working is not ok. Anyway after she says that obviously everyone is mad and irritated. Technically she would have to help the people already in the store at the time of close but she made it clear she wasn't going to. I had said, it would have been nice if you told us all that 45 minutes earlier when we All walked into the store because now all Verizon stores are about to close and she didn't say anything. My phone barley works, I work over the road and was trying to get this issue solved with my phone before leaving the next day for work, by waiting an hour to be told to leave. This store and the people who work there are totally disreputable. Today, my husband and I drove an hour from South Tempe to pick up a Gizmo Watch for my grandson. I had called 7 Verizon stores yesterday to find this watch and was unsuccessful until I spoke to Vincent at this Anthem Verizon store. Vincent told me they had it! And, they even had it in the color I preferred. I was thrilled and would have driven all the way to Prescott to fulfill my grandson's Christmas wish. He explained to me that we would need to activate a Verizon line (we are with Sprint) in order to be eligible to purchase the Gizmo Watch. That was no problem since we planned to upgrade our 2 iPhones and switch to Verizon. We made arrangements to visit the store the following day and he put the Gizmo Watch on hold for me. Mysteriously, when we arrived this morning, he said they didn't have any Gizmo Watches and told us we would have to order one. Vincent conferred with his manager and assured us that we would receive it in 4 days and encouraged us to just go ahead and switch our lines to Verizon while we were at the store. Interestingly, other stores I spoke with in addition to the Verizon.com website indicated that the Gizmo Watches are out of stock and new orders will not ship until January 8 or later. I believe Vincent took advantage of my eagerness to get the watch and told me what I wanted to hear to get us in the store. There never was a Gizmo Watch; they just wanted to get us in the store to sell us phones and new plans. My advice is NEVER, EVER do business with this store. You shouldn't trust ANYTHING these people say. If this is standard business policy for Verizon, choose a different carrier. If you you must do business with Verizon -- GO TO A DIFFERENT STORE. I will never deal with the Verizon store again on happy Valley Road because they're so rude The last time I was there I left crying and I'm sure my blood pressure was still high. Here they treat you the way Verizon is expected to treat their customers and there are third-party company.!! One of the things I like about them is their screen protector service -the glass ones -they put them on for you and you don't have to order them and there's no questions asked if you have a little nick - they still take care of you of course there's no charge because of the initial purchase. I buy all my devices with them rather than dealing with Verizon directly as I like their personalized service. My 14-year-old son comes in and they know him by his first name. The employees lied to me on three occasions and put me on a contract that cost me $1000.00 to get out of. Don't go near this store and go to anyone else except Verizon Wireless. Ross was SO helpful selecting my daughters 1st smartphone. I told him about a low price on Verizon Wireless website and he matched it. He gave a GREAT plan, which I found out later, is rarely offered, but we bought at the right time. A month later he gave us FAST service when daughter needed her SCREEN SAVER replaced. He did a fabulous job! Also, I work really close by and can't get WIFI in the shop. The guy with the hurt arm said he would come over and try to help me figure it out. I dropped my phone and my screen shattered so badly my finger is in shreds. I went to the Verizon store near my home to get a new phone and found they had recently been robbed so they had no demo phones. I needed to pick out a new phone so they sent me to the Anthem location. I decided on a phone which had to be ordered and they told me it would be in by Monday ( I was there on Saturday ) I went on Monday day and the location was closed even though business hours are 10 - 5. By the time I left there were 4 people waiting. I called and I was connected to another location and they said they had no idea what the problem was. Since I knew what phone I wanted I went back to the location near my home and now I was told I couldn't get the phone there ( even though they did not have it in stock either ) because I had a pending order in Anthem. REALLY!!!!! He called someone and they told him the store in Anthem would be open by 3. Back up to Anthem by 3:30 and guess what still closed. SURPRISE!!!! It is now Thursday and I still don't have my phone! If I could give Verizon a -10 I would. Of course I have a contract with Verizon but when it's over it's over. This is the place to get all of your Verizon needs met. The staff is informative, friendly, and they go out of their way to explain all of the options, features, and billing. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to be treated with respect and professionally. Please ask for Mike. Mike was the person we were in contact prior to the release of the iPhone 6S Plus and he outlined all of our options. As teachers, my wife and I appreciated the thoroughness of his explanations and the information on the teacher discount. He will explain everything to you and work out all of the numbers to meet your needs. My wife and I could not be happier with our iPhone 6S Plus. Space Grey for me and Rose Gold for my wife. Why i will never spend another dime in this Verizon store. I have been a customer of this Verizon store for several years and i have purchased many items there over the years. Four weeks ago i went in to ask a question. As soon as i walked in there were two employees one with a half mask on and one with no mask on. Without even saying hello or welcome the kid with the mask on says you cant come in without a mask on I said no problem but why is the employee next to you not wearing a mask. They laughed and said he would put it on. I didn't have a mask so no problem i left. Today i was prepared and i came in with a mask on. There was no one in the store except a female employee. I had my mask on covering my face but not my nose, again without saying hello she says you cant come in the store unless your nose is covered also so i covered my nose. I told her i would like to pay cash 300 dollars on my account. I went to pull the money out and i pulled my mask down slightly for a second and she says you cant be in the store with out your mask on. I told her to give me my money back and i walked out. I get that we need to wear a mask and i was following that but when you have staff that dosen't say hello or attempt to work with customers well that doesn't work for me. It might be better to train your staff to say hello how can I help you or hello thanks for stopping by before they go after someone that has a mask on but its not covering the nose. Went to this store after purchasing my IPhone at another location lack of knowledge and time from this retailer. Went to Daisy Mountain Verizon feeling very frustrated after trying to load data myself I was greeted by Lindsay who assured me she would everything would be loaded and helped me change pass codes and walla phone started loading after spending 1-2 hours at the other place and left frustrated and confused.
