I had a terrible experience with Asurion. I brought my phone in because it wasn't charging properly. They told me the charging port was dirty and that cleaning it would fix the issue. When I picked it up, the problem still wasn't fixed. I went back and explained that none of my chargers were working with the phone. Instead of diagnosing the phone, they tried to tell me that every single one of my chargers needed to be replaced and insisted there was nothing wrong with the phone. That makes no sense. Clearly, the issue is with the phone, not every charger I own. They didn't actually repair anything and didn't take responsibility for the unresolved problem. I paid for a "repair" that was not done, and now I still have a phone that won't charge. Very disappointed with the service and lack of effort to actually fix the issue read more

While Kevin at UBreakiFix on Happy Valley was kind and professional, the overall experience felt like a total scam. Long shory short: don't go here! Go to Rapid IPhone Repair in Desert Ridge instead! I originally came in for a camera and lens replacement on my iPhone 15 Plus and was quoted $200. A week later, when the part arrived, I brought my phone back and after two hours, they told me the replacement part was faulty and needed to be reordered. Another week passed, and I returned again. This time they said it would take 4 hours. After the 4 hours, I got a call saying the repair was "too difficult due to the glue Apple uses to secure the camera onto the phone," and they'd need to "break the glass on my phone" just to complete the repair and now it would cost an additional $100 and could take 48 to 72 more hours. That's when I knew I was being scammed. I took my phone to Dakota at Rapid iPhone Repair in Desert Ridge instead. He fixed it in under 2 hours for only $100 with no drama, no surprises. Don't waste your time or money here. Go see Dakota! PS, I don't want the "customer service" comment back from this company. If you really want to make things better, spend 8 hours at this location and see all of the disgruntled customers walk out. scammers...the entire company is. Google Pixel 4 xl was bricked by Google update and Google directed me to this this scammers to "fix it." It never happened . I called about 7 locations and none of them had the battery. This particular one from Happy Valley said that they will order it and will be there in 3 days, and they will call. This is 5 months ago. They never call. Then i went to the one on Pleasant road and the guy took it on the back, said will be ready in 2 days. Two days later "it will be ready in 1 hour". I waited. In one hour they gave me my phone back claiming that they put a new battery. 1 months later the battery has zero charge ( they never replaced it). Google actually is condoning this ,hoping you buy another phone ( legally they have to offer a solution when they screw-up something, but not to fix it). The entire company is scam, employees go to you tube to learn how to fix thing, they fix like 10% of their requests but they up-sale and nickel and dime you every chance they get. Should be illegal to have a predatory business like this operate ( but with the corrupt Arizona legislators , what do you expect). oh, and ubreakifix you don't need to give me your BS response along with the number that nobody answers - just a scam. Worse customer service today. I walked in. A voice from the back stated, "Be right with you." As typing on a keyboard could be heard. Five minutes passed, and "I'm coming, I promise." was heard. Finally, an attendant appeared. He was friendly. I stated my problem. He didn't have the part. As we were talking, a delivery guy walked in. I was in the middle of asking a question when the attendent went to the delivery guy, signed a kiosk, and answered his question. So rude! I walked out. The guy apologized as I turned to walk out, stating that he thought that he would be only signing for a package. Why couldn't the delivery guy wait a few seconds? I was researching for places that recycled old computers and saw that they provided that service. I went to the one at Lake Pleasant & Happy Valley rd. I walked in and it took the person in the back a minute to come up. I asked if they took old computers, he looked at me for a second and gave me the (are you stupid) yeah. I said okay, I'll be right back.... Came back in with my old Mac, and set it down. The guy looked at me, and said okay and started heading to the back. I stopped him and said, hey! do I get a receipt? do I need anything else? Once again looking at me with the (are you stupid) look saying no. I then asked him...did I miss something here, because your talking (what little he did) to me like I'm stupid for asking you questions, and from the beginning your whole service etiquette made me feel like I was putting you out and keeping you from something more important in the back today. He told me no, and then still proceeded to go into the back. Such a strange and terrible experience. For a store front that only relies on service related interactions to make money, this gentleman failed miserably. I looked at a few of these other reviews and noticed a similar issue that your company should fix....break down the walls! Had a broken screen on an iPhone Saturday June 8th. Searching for local repair businesses, I found online that ubreakifix repairs. Went to the website filled in the model of the phone and what repair was needed. Booked the 1:00 appointment the next day ( June 9th). Drive 80 miles round trip to be told at the 1:00 appointment that they do not have the screen in stock, that I should have called ahead to find out if parts were in stock. I was texted 2 appointment confirmations- with know reference to the customer is responsible for checking inventory ahead of time. Terrible business model! DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS BUSINESS. So I brought my Macbook Pro and Surface Pro for a screen repair (SP) and reboot issue (MBP). I was told by Trevor to give them about a week because they had to order and wait for parts. I gave them more than a week to do the repair. I followed up about a week ago and I was told to try about a week and half from then (which was yesterday). I called yesterday and spoke to Trevor and he told me on the phone that if he can't get the parts today and don't get a call from them that I can pick up my devices. He was mumbling about ordering incorrect parts, damaged parts and never gave specifics. I came to pick up my gadgets and the Surface Pro is missing the screen. They don't have it anymore. I haven't had a chance to test the MBP, but I overheard Trevor asking his staff where the screws to my MBP. This location of ubreakifix is terrrrrible. Cheap parts, unreliable timelines, awful communication, VERY poor workmanship. Here's the story. I brought these guys an iPad with a cracked digitizer and they quoted me something like $250-$275 to fix it. Mind you that's a $40-60 part, but I've done it myself and it's a couple hours to fix correctly, so I didn't want to waste the time. They gave me a 1-week timeframe and said they'd call back (they didn't). When I went in 10 days later, they said the screen was lifting in the corners a bit, and to bring it back if it kept lifting. It did, so I brought it back. Now they gave me another 1 week. This time I go in after a week and it wasn't done - something about still waiting for the part, give them another week. I gave them 2 weeks, came back, "oh, the home button had to be replaced" (aka, they broke it in the process). Another week to get the part. Then I go in again, "we can't get the home button to stick". They "guaranteed" it'd be ready tomorrow. I gave them 4 days, went back in and it wasn't ready. 1 more day and finally had it ready. ZERO offer to refund some of the $280, just, tough luck. Finally, it was a cheap screen, cracked on its own in 3 days, and when I replaced it myself, there were missing screws, missing cover pieces, and the home button cable what was supposed to be stuck down still had the adhesive backing on it. Clearly the work of meth-head burnouts who can't even follow a youtube video. As a pile on, every time I went into the location (like 10 times), it always reeked of cigarette smoke. I dropped off two ipads, one needed a software update and the other wasn't charging. I was told it would be 4-7 days for repairs. The day after I dropped them off I was called and told the ipad with the software issue could not be updated anymore and they hadn't checked on the other issue yet. Fine. 5 days later I called to find out the status of the ipad that wasn't charging. After being on hold for 10 minutes, I hung up and called back. I was finally told that the ipad ended up needing a new battery and it was repaired. I asked how much. I was put on hold and then told they needed to check with the tech that did the repair to find out the price and they would call me back. Never got a call back. I called again the next day. Again, having to hang up after 10 minutes on hold and calling back. Was told AGAIN that they needed to get the price from the tech and would call me back. I said someone was supposed to call me back yesterday and never did. I was told, "I promise I will call you back in 10 minutes." Never got a call back. I called again several hours later. Was AGAIN told that they needed the price from the tech and was put on hold AGAIN for over 10 minutes. Finally the guy came back and said, "You never authorized the repair." Excuse me?! I was told 3 times that this ipad was repaired already and I've just been trying to get a price! The guy said he was sorry but since I had two work orders, they were confused and they had been giving me the status of the other ipad, which he said, "you picked up already." I HAD NOT PICKED THAT ONE UP! I told him do NOT repair the ipad that needs the battery and I went and picked up both of my ipads. I spoke to, who I was told was the manager, and let him know how unhappy I was. I asked if there was anyway they could get that battery replaced while I waited. He said no, so I left. This place has the worst customer service! Also, the price I was quoted for the battery was $129. Found another place that same day. A new battery there is $69 and it will be ready the next day. Needless to say, I will never go to or recommend this place in the future. read more

I had brought in my device to this location for water damage, was quoted that it would take a couple of days to get fixed and those few days turned in to 5 weeks. After the 5 weeks I was told the repair was fixed but another defect existed with the device that needed to be looked at further. This was a new minor issue so after 5 weeks, a number of calls throughout to check in on the status of the device, and being lied to about the repair they claimed to make I went in to pick up my device to find out it was actually in worse condition than when I had dropped it off. The repair they claimed to had made was actually not done. My device was there for 5 weeks. Don't bother going here unless you plan on being lied to for weeks and screwed over. read more

Told them it was an international model and showed them the box with serial #, model, etc. Went back 3 hours later and the rep is holding the open phone telling me "this is the international model...and we'll have to order the part from Samsung...probably 2-3 days." We spent a week in which I called every day. Same story....Samsung is not responding. On June 8th, I go in and tell them to order a secondary market part...show the same rep a couple websites with pictures and part numbers. It's now late Thursday, week 2. I call and another rep says "I just ordered the part...should be here in 2-3 days." Not once, did any rep from uBreakiFix call me with an update. I picked up the phone 5 PM and took it to a competitor. The Samsung part is being delivered overnight from NJ and will be fixed by early afternoon tomorrow....all for less, including overnight Samsung part delivery. read more

Spoke with the technician who was very professional and assured me that the phone would be repaired the same day. Two hours later got a message that the work was complete. The staff bungled my repairs, three times they told me my repairs were covered under my Samsung care plan, they did not keep their own word on how long repairs were supposed to be. They took my phone for half a day and didnt even do the work till I called them to remind them of their assurance that work would take a couple hours at most. Then when I got there after being told the repairs were covered, they delayed me all day, then told me at pick up, that I owed them money. They lied about repairs being covered. Then when I called them on their misrepresentation they got rude. Don't go here, they ended up holding my phone hostage unless I paid, until I threatened to call the police, they out my phone back together with broken glass they're were supposed to fix. Rude staff and more importantly, they lack honesty and integrity as well as a complete lack of professionalism. read more

They need to change the name to you break I destroy. I dropped off my laptop with the screen already removed but available for testing if needed as well as the fact that the part number was clearly visible on the ribbon cable and should help in finding a new part if that was the problem. When I came to pick up my laptop the screen was now shattered in the corners where a pry bar had been used to try and lift the screen. When I asked about this the lady present stepped into the back room to contact the tech and find out for me. On her return she informed me the screen "needed" to be broken by the tech to find the part number and since there was corrosion they were not liable. I simply pointed to the ribbon cable on the bottom of the screen where the part number was and she simply said "oh" and then apologized. read more
