Booked an appointment last minute and the staff was so sweet. I really appreciated that they were so kind and able to see me. Location is in an office building and kind of tucked away and strange, you can see a dusty patio out the window for example. Pricing runs at $145 fire 75 mins which puts it on par with Watercourse Way. Given the price point and location I would expect the massage to be truly remarkable but it was average, lots of elbows which meant either extreme pressure or not enough. Therapist was so sweet so I feel terrible writing this but I keep forgetting that this place is both expensive and kind of strange. read more

Started visiting Verde touch in my second trimester and I'm so glad I did. They have a special table for pre natal and post natal massages which makes the entire experience a lot more enjoyable and relaxing since you can lie on your tummy vs lying on your side. Highly recommend Monti, she always finds my sore spots and adds just the right amount of pressure needed to relieve the knots. They're a bit pricey but worth it. read more

I was 41 weeks pregnant and recommended David at Verde Touch by my friend who knew how miserable I was with the waiting game. She said she went '2 for 2' with both of her kids with David and his induction massage. I got in touch and he got me in 36 hours later, which is key when you're super pregnant. The massage was the BEST i have ever had, and I have had many, many massages and spa experiences. Being able to lie down on my stomach with my belly in a hole was an amazing feeling after so many months no being able to. David's technique was incredible, and I felt so relaxed and restored. Hands down the best massage therapy experience I've ever had. I saw Noelle for a 75 minute Prenatal Induction massage. Noelle was wonderful, caring and extremely attentive. Highly recommend her! It was the most relaxed I have felt in a very very very long time. Saw Rose. Not to be weird but for such a petite person she must have finger strength like ten times mine and it was surprising and glorious. She was very gentle though. I liked the oil they use. To say that David has magically healing hands wouldn't really do him justice as a healer or therapist. He takes his practice very seriously. Massage is so much more than just technique, a large part of it is also how well the person connects with you energetically. Energy flow during a massage therapy session can make or break your experience. And to be able to bring another person to this "Alpha" state of relaxation and healing, it takes a strong understanding of one's self (not to mention that you have to take great care of your own body, mind and soul before you attempt to heal anyone.) As someone who considered studying massage therapy once upon a time, I take the art of healing other people very seriously as well. I'm so happy to say that this was one of the best massages that I've had (very strong statement, I know). Verde touch is located in the midst of a few offices, so I wasn't sure what to expect. I found that Verde touch is located on the top floor -- and David has put in a lot of work to create an East-Asian treehouse atmosphere. It is really quite impressive. I almost decided not to review David because he's already so tough to get an appointment with (on the weekends at least) and selfishly I don't want him to get more popular! But he's just too good not to give 5 stars. My husband and I have both been going to him for over a year now. I started when I was pregnant because he specialized in prenatal massage, but post-natal he is just as amazing. He consistently gives excellent massages. He's quiet, kind, and always seems very focused throughout the entire massage. I don't know how he doesn't get tired by the end of the hour. I love him, and my husband and I will continue to see him for as long as we're in the area. FYI - my husband has also seen Shira, and he said she is just as great as David... The 5 star reviews of this place are so accurate! Loved the experience here! A few weeks ago, I booked a couples massage for the BF and me. I booked the appointment via email and it was very easy and David responded so quickly! I booked the couples massage the day before (Friday) and was able to be seen the next day (Saturday) which was very shocking to me because so many other places have you waiting for 2-3 weeks before they can even squeeze you in! Since it was our first time getting a massage, it cost us each $99.00, so total of $200.00 for a 75mins of pure heaven! The couples massage room was big which was great because the BF and I felt like we were in our own little world, but together at the same time. Plus the ample room allowed David and Nova enough room to move around. I had David massage me and my BF had Nova. I LOVED David's technique! His massage table is low, almost to the floor, so take that into consideration if you have trouble getting up or getting too low on a table. His voice was soothing and his touch was awesome! Not too hard, not too soft, just right! He would check in on me every so often which was great. I felt that I got my entire 75mins worth of a great massage. For my BF, he said he would rate Nova at a 3.5. He did mention to me that her technique was a bit too hard, but again, he admits not telling her to soften her touch. He also was not a fan of her massaging his head towards the end and leaving him with a bit of oily hair! haha. Overall, my personal experience was awesome! I definitely will be scheduling another massage very soon. Whats great about this place is that its very easy to find and there are no issues with parking. I have a hard time thinking about David as a "massage therapist". Not because he isn't certified or exceptionally professional, which he is, but because his involvement and sincerity go beyond the commercial aspect of the service he renders. The amount of 5 star reviews here are very well deserved at Verde Touch. When I moved from San Jose to Menlo Park more than 2 years ago, I tried them out, and have not gone anywhere since. Having been a regular customer of massage for most of my adult life, I have never found a place where I felt just as comfortable with any of the massage therapists in the office to work on me. I enjoy experiencing each of the therapists' work, and was very pleased recently when I tried out a visiting therapist who does ashiatsu oriental bar therapy bare foot massage. Not only does Verde Touch offer a nice range of options with the unique experience that each therapist offers, but The best part is the genuine presence and care that each therapist gives in every massage. In the 2 years I've been a dedicated customer, and have tried out every therapists' work, I never had the feeling that my massage was rushed because of someone behind me or before me. Every moment was very connected, and intentional in addressing problem areas, and promoting overall relaxation. Every therapist has their own special energy, and the nice range of professional personalities provides exceptional overall service. I am 33 weeks preggo and my massage by Noelle was hands-down the best massage I've had (pregnant or not) ever. Having the option to lie on my stomach was magical, and the pressure was perfect. I get massages often - I've had four since I've been pregnant and most of them felt like they were just rubbing body oil on me...this one felt like a legit massage, and the temperature, the music - everything was perfect. One of my pet peeves is when the masseuse talks during the massage, and Noelle was very mindful and only checked in with me on pressure, and when things hurt, she explained why. Long overdue review, but a recent experience with a local LMT reminded me to make good on a promise. A few years ago on a business/leisure* trip, I thought booking an impromptu massage would be a relaxing tangent to an otherwise bustling adventure. After a brief comparison of reviews, Verde Touch was the clear choice. If memory serves, I had gone onto their website to book a side-by-side for myself and a guest, but the online scheduler was showing conflicts in making that possible. Not to be dissuaded on the off-chance something could be worked out, I called up and spoke with David. I explained the situation that we were only in the Los Altos area for a few days and asked if there was anything he could do to fit us in. Whatever magic he was able to pull in the short time between that conversation and calling me back worked - we were all set to meet up with Heidi and Jodi the next afternoon. Nothing but great things to say about the expertise of Heidi and Jodi. One of my highlights for the trip and would go back in a heartbeat if I was ever in the area again. Jodi's skillful work made me realize massage therapy was capable of doing more for my chronic back pain than years(decades?) of chiropractic had achieved. Oh my goodness, this was an amazing experience. First of all, being able to lay on my stomach on the special belly hole table (whoever patented that should be sainted) was a treat, but the whole experience was wonderful. This is my favorite massage spot in the bay area. After trying a few places this has to be the best. I've been coming here for almost 4 years. I moved out of the area to east bay but plan to make the drive for the massage here. Its that good. Esp for the pregnant mama's out there, this is the place! Other places I've tried prenatal/regular massages they have tables you would climb on versus at Verde touch your on the floor in a comfortable bed. Prenatal massages was the best! They have special beds just for pregnant women so you can lay on belly and your breasts aren't pressing against the bed. Last time I went was with Amelia. They have the specialized table for prenatal massages allowing you to lay on your stomach with an opening for your tummy and chest. Finding parking right in front of the building is usually a breeze. Doug is fantastic! I get a massage every 2-3 weeks and have hunted all over the area for truly good massage. I've had a regular massage therapist for more than a year, but Doug has impressed me so much in the past few weeks that he is my new guy now! Doug has a great touch and is sensitive to your body's needs. Very few times have I had a massage put me into such a deep state of relaxation, but Doug's massages do it every time! Verde Touch is in a comfortable setting and has easy parking. Their massage sessions are 75 minutes which are much more enjoyable than the 60 minute sessions. Came here for prental massage because of the special massage tables with the belly cut out. Highly recommend Teresa as a masseuse. She is naturally talented and adapts to your requests. I have been going to Verde Touch in Los Altos for about 2.5 years now. I've had several different masseurs and they are all lovely. I'm currently 39 weeks pregnant and I've been getting regular pre-natal massages from Monti for a few months, she's a MIRACLE worker. I've never fallen asleep during a massage before, but I am so relaxed every time that I find myself dozing off regularly. She knows how to work with your hips and lower back if that's where you are struggling with your pregnancy. I've been blessed to not have any major physical discomfort, so she just helps open certain areas and relax. It's amazing. Holy cow, this place is AH-MA-ZING. I'm a Certified Nurse-Midwife and one of my patients essentially demanded that I see David for a prenatal massage... I've now seen him twice in two weeks! As previous reviewers have mentioned, the ability to lie on your stomach for a prenatal massage (even at 37 weeks + 3 days, in my case) is pure magic, and there's just something wonderfully different about the massage technique here (although I can only attest to David's incredible skill). I've experienced an instant reduction in low back and hip pain, in addition to feeling more relaxed than I ever thought possible in full-term pregnancy. I found David and Verde Touch through Yelp while searching for prenatal massage. This was the only place i found with the pregnancy table! The table was amazing. It was so wonderful to be able to lie face down. I am days away from my due date and my discomfort level is high. The massage I received was amazing. The use of the pregnancy table allowed David to massage me in a way that is just not possible with the side lying position. He used great pressure and really was able to relieve the soreness in my lower back and hips. I only wish I had started seeing him earlier in the pregnancy. On a side note-I'm a big fan of the massage cream they use here too-the scent wasn't overpowering and, hours later, my skin still feels so nice from it.
