terrible terrible service and customer support... my internet went out Thursday afternoon called veracity, they had me plug in my laptop to the Ethernet cable on my router, got ISP and tried to ping... they said they'd get back to me about it... no call back on Friday called them again to follow up, they said their tech people were on it and will give me a call back,... they didn't. They just let it spill on the week end where they were closed. Monday, I called them again first thing in the morning and they said a tech was coming to our site(not to my home) and they would give me a call back by 5 pm... its 5 right now, I just called them back. They said the tech couldn't find anything wrong(this is my 4th day without internet service) had me connect my laptop to the Ethernet again to get the ISP, and they said they would get back to me. No one in their customer service took ownership of my problem. I had to explain again and again every time i called, never got a call back. They don't bother to record the conversations of the customer services. This is how people lose internet service for 5 days without being helped by their provider. avoid this company at all cost. One star is too high a rating for Veracity Networks. Their customer service/technical service is unacceptable. They advertise 24x7 technical support and that is simply not true. My internet was down all of Sunday and when I called I was greeted with a message that their hours were M-Sat and if I was experiencing any issues to leave a message and a customer service agent would contact me next business day. I left a message and at 4:30 pm Monday and I still had not received a call. This is not the first time this has happened. At one time when we had faulty equipment, they continually wasted our time with pretend technical support, which had us replacing our equipment. After putting up with that for several weeks they finally sent a technician who works for all Utopia providers and he replaced our equipment and recommended switching to (Xmission) who is known for great customer service/technical support. I have now done so. I do not recommend Veracity. read more

Absolutely THE WORST!! No customer service support whatsoever. We own a restaurant, and when the internet goes down, so do all of our cash registers. Business basically shuts down. When I call for customer support, I get a recording to leave a message. They say they are "always open", but that is a lie. Horrible, horrible company. Stay away from them!! read more

Literally the worst internet provider in the world. My internet is out at least 3 times a week and when we call they always say "it doesn't look like there's any problems in your area" like I must be mistaken...my internet really is working. And if it's a weekend- forget about it. They are closed and ask you to leave a voicemail! Like having someone call me on Monday is going to help the fact that I've been without internet all weekend? We would have switched providers within the first week if we had a choice but it's in our HOA. We are beginning a petition in our complex to have the HOA switch providers for the whole unit. Be smart...don't sign up for or buy anywhere that forces you to use veracity. read more

Veracity Networks Customer service is the worst I have ever had with any company. Upon moving to Traverse Mountain we were told that we could only get phone and internet service from BroadWeave Networks (owned by Veracity). We purchased their service for 3 phone lines and internet. After 5 years of service I tried to cancel my 3 phone lines, but continue receiving internet service in a written communication dated 12-12-14. I kept hearing the phones ring and after calling four more times between December 16th - January 6 to get Veracity to remove the phone lines from our service. Phone lines were finally turned off around January 12, 2015. Veracity claims that the customer had confusion about the phones (no confusion have written instructions to Veracity 12-12-14. Veracity has billed me for phone service for the period 12-12-14 - 1-12-15 and will not remove the charges. Since that time I have had to call four more times to get the billing adjusted to reflect the ordered shut off date. Veracity refuses to adjust the billing and continues to insist on billing phones through January 12, 2015. If you have any other choice of providers I would choose one of them. read more

Internet service was actually pretty good. I very seldom had issues with the internet. The TV service was okay; I frequently had issues with choppy streaming. Customer service is absolutely horrible. Emails are never answered. Phone calls take multiple tries and over 10 minutes on hold before a human is reached. Customer service reps are rude and unhelpful. In addition, their business practices are very shady. Apparently they can force you to sign a contract agreement but then change the terms of your contract whenever they feel like it, without prior notice. Their justification for this practice is that the changes are posted online. Again, they won't notify you there are changes, the manager I talked to stated it was my responsibility to periodically check the website to see if they had decided to change the terms of the contract. Ok Internet but the TV is garbage. It's always pixelated or locking up and they claim I am the only one with the problem. That isn't true because my neighbors had the same problem and got the same excuses. Now I have issues with their default DNS which they are trying to blame on Apple. I have to use 3rd party DNS to get things like the APP Store, Sony PSN and Amazon streaming to work. They've promised credits but every time I call they come up with some excuse to delay it. They advertise 24/7 phone support but this isn't true. They close in the evening and don't work weekends. Good luck if their service goes out when they aren't there. read more

Website - Though their website is pretty clear on what they offer the prices are not a deal by any means. Unfortunately for me they are the only internet provider in our area at this time. I submitted a requested to be contacted through the website and got zero response as I waited a week. At that point I called. Customer Service - First I was routed to a new person cause the main agent did not service my area. After reaching the new person I was informed that I had the wrong person and the person I needed to speak to was not in the office. They took my number and said I would be called within 24 hours. 48 hours later no call. I call back and finally get the person I am supposed to work with. It seemed promising as they said they would get me my forms and would rush my service since it had been over a week since my first contact. This was on Wednesday. Sent an email Thursday to verify if the documents had been received. No reply. I called Friday and the lady I talked to said "Well the agent is supposed to be in at 2:00PM, but I don't think he is coming in today." She said if he comes in she would have him call me. No call, no reply to email. Now the weekend they are closed. Monday I receive an email saying he did not receive the docs. (Funny cause girl from Friday stated that an account had been created and was in processing) So I sent the docs in again. In the email I requested that I get a confirmation that the docs had been received. By noon I had not heard anything so I call the agent. He confirmed that he now had the docs and was pushing our account through. I asked if he has a date of install for us yet and he said he would that afternoon. I asked for an email. Today is Wednesday. No email, no call, no install date. It's now after 5:00PM which they are closed. After calling again and reaching the sales agent I was informed that internet cannot be provided until my builder approves some ground work. So it took a week to figure that out? And I only know this today because I called them back. I was told to try other options until Vivint, Digis, or Utah Broadband. Meaning I either get locked into a 24 month contract or pay a $99 installation fee which I will have to pay again when I finally have access to the Veracity network which is the only NON-wireless option. It's unfortunate that people have to deal with this company as it's the only option in some areas. I hope other companies gain access to provide internet services in the area so that they will be forced to be more competitive on cost and customer service. If you can avoid them I would. read more

I have had veracity for 3 months and have experienced at least 10 outages. I noticed this outage in the morning (Saturday) and called to notify them. The rep said that they received other calls in my development and would send somebody out to fix it. Nothing was fixed and nobody called me back. Since none of their staff work past 4 on Saturday, this outage will last 48 hours until they get in on Monday. I understand not wanting to be open 24/7 if you own some businesses, but an ISP should be one business that has some staff available at least some time every day of the week. Why am I still with Veracity? I am being held hostage by my HOA. Should you buy a place where the only option for an ISP is Veracity? Well, do you like arts and crafts? Do you love surfing the web and watching videos all on your tiny phone? Or do you wish that you could just unplug from the world and find out who you really are as a person? If you answered yes to any of those questions then I think Veracity is a great fit for you. But if you like binge watching shows and using an actual computer, I would go with someone else. I just hope one of their executives sees this post because their own Veracity service didn't go down over the weekend too. By the way, this is the first time I have ever been motivated to rate any product or service. read more

Horrible service and response time. We live in Traverse Mtn and I'm not sure what is going on with their cables and systems up here but our phone line is CONSTANTLY down! It happens at least every few weeks and every time they say that it shouldn't happen again but nevertheless we are still in the same situation. In all my years growing up with Qwest phone service, I can never remember one time when the phone lines were down. Something must be wrong with the infrastructure here but they don't seem to care enough to fix it. It always takes days and days for a tech to come out and fix it and even then it's only fixed for a little while until the next time it happens again. I would never recommend this company. Unfortunately we are stuck with them because of an illegal backroom deal the developer made with this company to be the only provider for our area. So we can't even hold them accountable and switch providers. Needless to say we are very, very frustrated with Veracity. Do yourself a favor and choose a different provider! read more

i have internet and tv with veracity and i have to give 5 stars to the internet, its just blazing fast. i average about 54 up and 49 down. ok for the tv, i would not recommend this service to anyone. i'm in centerville and i've had the serivce for 3 days and i've had to call them every single day due to issues. first off, i just moved here from CA and i've been using IPTV for the past 5 yrs. in UT IPTV is very very expensive plus you really only get 37 HD Channels, i mean really, this is fiber optics and they haven't added anymore HD channels since 2011. i pay $204/m for all the channels, 1 dvr box that reboots whenever i try to schedule a recording, and 1 hd box. in Ca i had 3 boxes, over 150 HD CHannels, multi room dvr and i was only paying $140/m so i'm stuck watching SD tv, so basically i just went 6 yrs back in time. IPTV is really cutting edge technology but DirecTV has more technology than Veracity so maybe one day they would catch up to them. for those of you new to IPTV wait until they actually figure out how to deploy this service because it isn't cheap and definately not a good bang for the buck. however, i would definately recommend their internet service. read more
