Verace is a great gelato shop located in downtown Livermore. They always have interesting flavors and they're fun to check out during Witches Night Out. There's indoor and outdoor seating. Amarene (milk and black cherries) was the most recent flavor I tried and it was delicious. Looking forward to my next visit!

Stopped in for a sweet treat and had the pistachio gelato. It was delicious! Highly recommend! The sugar cone was also fresh and delicious. You know how sometimes the cones can taste a bit stale, well not here. The establishment is very clean and roomy. You can sit and enjoy your gelato.

Cute and bright decor drew us here. Their many flavors were a definite plus. They have indoor and outdoor seating, which is great for cooler or hot days. Staff were friendly and quickly took orders. Their pumpkin spice was good but a tad too sweet. My single scoop was well presented and the small cone was a nice touch.

I stopped by on a Sunday afternoon for an ice cream. The place was not full. I got a 3 scoops - Gianduja, pistachio, almond orange. All were good flavors. Hot chocolate was good as well. Nocciolatte was a flavorful latte. The owner was a friendly lady.

Verace is a lovely place downtown, bright and welcoming. The Wife and I stopped by, and I was impressed with everything else you could get here besides gelato. We both had a combination of two gelatos. Mine was an almond based, and a hazelnut based combination. We both got the medium size, and regretted it, because it was generous and more than we needed. The service consisted of a polite young man, who was unable to pour any wine because he was underage. We didn't really want any, I just found it interesting that they offer it. The shelves have a number of different bottles for takeout, and the refrigerated case has a nice variety of Italian water and sodas and such.

YUM! Stopped in after dinner to check out Verace and it did not disappoint! I had a scoop of the vanilla caramel (SO good) and a scoop of the gianduia (I may be butchering that spelling). They were a delicious yin & yang combo that I certainly plan to be back for. The gelato had a thick but creamy consistency and was the perfect end to an evening out.

Now know to only order this drink from Italian cafes. -smiling, quick courteous service. Covfefe bold taste with lotsa foam on top with a cute design. Came with a small biscuit. Fresh, savory, not too sweet. *very satisfying. Got a Dubai Chocolate gelato sample. Rich chocolate taste, minimal sugar, non-dairy. Great local spot for gelato and coffee! They have good coffee, smooth tasting and bold. The latte I had in the shop was presented nicely and perfect for sipping. Strong, delicious. The nocciolatte is also excellent, a sweet hazelnut-y drink. So flavorful and exciting. The gelato flavors are rich and creamy. Of the ones I've had so far, amarene (milk and black cherries) is my favorite. It is so good. Soft milk flavor with delicious bursts of cherry. The dark chocolate is nice and very deeply chocolate-y. I found almond to be a bit gritty. Delicate in flavor.

Italian bistro chairs, white interiors, azure sky and turquoise waters pictures on the wall from Capri and you wonder if you have stepped into Italy while walking Livermore downtown. The coffee and gelato aromas fill the air. I can give you a full argument that gelato has a fragrance, contest me if you want to. We got our gelatos (generous amount of scoops) and settled in at a table. Their signature flavor "Verace" was one of our favorites as well as the orange almond and the always good Straciatella. This is one of the best gelato we have had outside of Italy. You can tell by the color and taste of their pistachio flavor. They'll let you taste the flavors, so don't fret if you are confused with the variety. Also, if you like coffee, get their Affogato, it is super awesome.

Walking around downtown Livermore and stumbled upon this gem. Plenty of street parking or you can park in the garage for free if you feel like exploring downtown. They offer free tastings. Service was good and quick. Inside is nice, clean, and spacious. Plenty of flavors but my favorite was the Ferrero Rocher (hazelnut chocolate) gelato! So creamy and delicious! They have indoor and outside seating. We really enjoyed coming here and would like to try other flavors!

I came here with my friend and we both got gelato, it was really tasty and refreshing! The inside is decorated in such a charming way, I feels summery and (although I've sadly never been) what I imagine Italy to feel like. The employees are all so friendly & seem to really love it there. The owner told us that he's from Italy, and was really nice, and another woman employee who was also really nice told us more about the shop, about their vision and that they want to sell an experience with their food. She even told us what she recommended for us for the next time we visit. One thing I did wish for was that they had a few more vegan options, but I can't complain about the few that they did have! I ordered the lemon gelato and it was great. Overall, it was definitely a memorable experience with warm and kind people and yummy dessert!! read more

This place was absolutely amazing. We were welcomed the moment we walked into the store and got to try as many flavors as we wanted. The workers were incredibly friendly and would make conversation with you. The owner came up and introduced himself and shook my Dads hand. Honestly where to even begin. This gelato is HEAVEN. I feel so good eating it because the ingredients are so pure with no artificial ingredients. 100% recommended! They welcomed our homeschool group in their shop with smiles and friendliness. They told us about gelato and talked to us about the process of making it which they take great pride in. We appreciated the thought that is put into their gelato (their ingredients come from Italy!). Everyone in our group (over 30 parents and kids) enjoyed their flavor choices, were happy about the visit, and plan on going back. Gold standard in gelato has arrived in Livermore! Holy Moly! Christian serves us the best gelato in town with a smile. And the flavors are AMAZING! Who would have thunk it. The Dark chocolate is the darkest dark chocolate gelato and worth the calories. Passion fruit was our other favorite. Freshly whipped gelato, with a lot of flavor, and sooooooo creamy. The portion size is very small for the price. My gelato was practically melting already when it was being scooped into the cup, which made the portion even smaller since it can't form a mound in the cup. Flavor was ok. The freezer needs to be colder or gelato more frozen. read more

I only have positive things to say about this business. The owners are so gracious and the shop is in located just off the main drag in downtown Livermore. The interior of the shop is very pretty. The man at the counter (I believe it was the owner) was very nice and service was good. I got the strawberry and my friend got a different flavor with chocolate (forgot the name). I was not a fan of the strawberry, it tasted like it was made with puree rather than fresh strawberries and that gave it an artificial flavor. It's possible because they have mostly vanilla/chocolate type flavors they don't put much effort into the fruit ones and don't use fresh ingredients, not sure. I'm not a gelato expert but I've had amazing fresh raspberry gelato in San Ramon so I was expecting this to be on par. My friend absolutely LOVED hers though. I usually prefer fruit flavors but if I'm craving chocolate or something more rich I'd come again to try something different! read more

New place in Livermore downtown, we wandered in on a blistering hot morning while at the Sunday farmers market. The flavors of the week are clearly labeled by the door, once you enter it's spacious with counter seating and a few tables with chairs. They let you taste whatever you like, and we took full advantage of that! Everything was so good, we heard from others must try's include hazelnut, pistachio, and the salted peanut! I thought the sorbets were all really good and refreshing however too tart for my baby who i was sharing with. We were just remarking how we wished there was a good frozen dessert place (Meadowlark is our favorite) and this might be a close second for us! read more

It appeared they might've updated several of their prices with the edits marked all over it. It just looks tacky, but I understand that making a new sign can be costly. Hopefully in the near future this could be given a nice facelift. We ordered a scoop of ube, a scoop of toasted almond, and a scoop of mint chocolate chip ice cream. Unfortunately you couldn't eat indoors so we stood outside the shop and hurried to eat the ice cream before it melted. Would I come back here again? Maybe, but I prefer the Castro Valley location more as it just gives more of the feels of an actual ice cream shop and it's got a pleasant vibe to it.
