    Empanadas

Love going here for the empanadas they are amazing. They usually sell out quickly and may not be available if you go after 10 am. The service is good and the restaurant is quaint. They can get busy, so I suggest going early before the rush. Will be back for the empanadas and to try the breakfast sandwiches.

Had the Bario breakfast sandwich on the cheddar & jalepeno bagel, it was super fresh, full of flavor, & yummy! The Bikini bottom tea was very refreshing. Vibes are great, service was good, a bit slow, but they were pretty busy, with a non stop line out the door. So be prepared to be there for a bit. Would definitely come back.

Wonderful bohemian cafe with plenty of seating for the remote worker or casual meetups. Kid friendly. The service and staff were helpful and friendly. I came about mid morning, there was adequate seating available inside and outside. I order the churro latte (signature drink) and a pour over. I was able to choose the roast which i opted for the Barrio medium roast. Flavorful and tasty coffee! Prices were reasonable and they had many drink options. They also can do regular, cold and French press brews. There were still some pastries available as well and lunch. I would definitely come here again and try some of their other signature drinks.

Super cute café! They have a lot of things on their menu but I stuck with a Signature drink since it was my first time! I got a Churro Latte w/ oat milk & loved it!

This was my first time here as I was next door shopping, so I decided to stop by. The cafe looked like it's gotten some history as you can tell from their decor and designs of the place, kind of like a living room with dining tables and home-like photos placed in similar positions like you'd place family photos on the wall. I don't really know how to describe it. This place is not the typical aesthetically pleasing cafe, but it feels like it's been there for a long time. There were quite a few people chilling or doing some work, so I'd recommend this place to be the ideal spot as it's also kind of quiet and cozy. There's also outdoor seating in front of the cafe too, which is a nice plus! The staff were kind and attentive to me when I was ordering. They were a bit busy, but still gave me the best customer service. I ordered the Thai tea as I found it interesting that their Thai tea had vanilla and cocoa powder dusted on top. When I first took a sip, I actually liked it a lot! If you're looking for regular Thai tea, this isn't it. This tasted creamy with a subtle hint of Thai tea. I love Thai tea don't get me wrong, but this I don't mind getting it again. It wasn't too sweet either, which is a nice bonus as I don't like it too sweet. I wouldn't say it's like milk tea- Thai tea, but a horchata consistency Thai tea. Will get it again!

What a cozy coffee place!!!! There is lots of art on the walls!!! Great friendly staff!!! I will defiantly be back!!! They bake there delicious pastries!!!! I ordered a Chocolate Croissant and Hot Chai Tea with Soy Milk. I got a Cinnamon Roll to go. There are plenty of tables inside and outside. I chose to eat inside, the atmosphere is chill, great place to meet friends for breakfast or lunch!!! I picked up the Chocolate Croissant, it felt flaky to the touch, I took a bite and it could smell butter and chocolate. What a crispy and flaky croissant!!! DELICIOUS!!!!! Plenty of chocolate inside and on the top!!!! The Chai Tea was made perfectly, made my taste buds happy!!! I needed a treat this morning and coming to BARRIO was the perfect remedy for this!!! I highly recommend BARRIO to anyone looking for a great place to sit and chat or a good place for delicious eats!!!!

The inside had a huge bar plus tables spread throughout - they also had an entire wall of beer taps that were self-served. You drank how much you wanted and then paid at the end, I think? Sounds like a cool concept. We ordered a Black Cherry Margarita and a Peach Mule - we both really liked what we ordered! The bartender was really nice and gave great recommendations! While we didn't order food, we did peruse the menu and they had a lot of good options like Chicken Wings, Fish and Chips, Fettuccini Alfredo - plus different salads, sandwiches, burgers and even pizza! I think my husband would really enjoy Fire Taproom so we will definitely be back next time we are in Elk Grove! Check them out!

And it for sure has been. So here is how it works here-when u walk in,you register a debit or credit card at the front desk and then they get you a pour card and then take you to your seat. This pour card allows you to go to the self pour section of the restaurant and grab a glass and pour beer to your hearts content. Each time you pour yourself a drink you can tell on the screen how much your pour is going to cost. Then at the end of your visit you turn in your pour card and they charge you for whatever damage you incurred. Pretty straightforward-It's so easy to rack up a tab,but honestly isn't that part of the fun.Its great for happy hour or killing some time before a movie or dinner. This place does have a pretty good food menu as well-mostly serving bar type food-though over my many visits I have tried most of their menu,I will say be careful when ordering food, make sure you have time, more than a few times the kitchen was super slow and ran right into my movie start time before food arrives, not all the time but enough time where it's something we think about when ordering food. Food has been mostly pretty good with the chicken wings and the tri-tip sliders my personal favorites when ordering food here. Another thing I do like about this place-they have a lot of TVs,so pretty much guarantees a great view from everywhere in the establishment. They also show all the UFC events at this bar-I know do to recent changes a lot of people are watching at home these days but if one does want to get out in the world to watch a UFC broadcast-this is an excellent place to make that happen. Not a beer person? No problem-this place does have a full bar for those of you who would prefer a cocktail Happy Hour is a thing here as well-so if in the area around happy hour-they got you covered with various food and drink discounts. In closing-If it's not obvious-I really love this bar and restaurant-they are super friendly and it's a really chill spot-one of my favorite happy hours to go to before going to a movie next door and even a great spot to just throw back a few beers either solo or with friends-you should stop by if in the area-I'm sure you will like it here too.

With authentic flavors and food items, there's not many like it around town. Bodega serves up food from the Caribbean Islands. One of their most popular dishes is their jerk chicken. They have this both as a chicken wing appetizer and as a plated dinner. I personally really enjoy white meat when it comes to chicken and the dinner plate was leg and thigh so I opted to go with the wing appetizer. My only complaint about it was its size. I thought it could have had more wings as I thoroughly enjoyed each one with the jerk sauce I added to it. The wings were very crisp on the outside and full of flavor. Adding the jerk sauce or their house made hot sauces enhanced the flavor even more. I could really see myself coming just for these wings! I also had the Cubano sandwich. This hot, pressed sandwich has ham, cheese, pickles, and mustard. It's a popular item that also is bursting with flavor. The combination of all the ingredients was mouthwatering. It comes with a side of fries to round out the meal. Service at Bodega was very nice. We found the servers to be very patient with us and the food came out reasonably. I was specifically there for a birthday party where we had cake being served from outside the restaurant. Bodega has a cake cutting charge, but seeing our tiny cake they waived it for us! There I discovered The Pocket Club--a bar untouched by time and unbothered by pretense. The decor whispered of 1977--shuffleboard, portable fans, and the faint musk of bygone regrets. Behind the bar stood Janet, barkeep of grit and grace, whose no-nonsense charm and swift service are worth two stars all on their own. She does not suffer fools, nor does she tolerate tab openers who can't finish their drink. When she asked what I wanted, I replied, with the survival instincts of a duke in exile, "Beer." And dear reader, it arrived colder than diplomacy during the French Revolution. I suspect it was imported straight from the glacial plains of Antarctica. The price? An act of mercy. The beer nuts? Divine. The conversation? A robust local debate on pet insurance, which, though not quite the Magna Carta, held its own. For a fleeting moment, I feared catastrophe--Cash Only.
