I've been an acrylic girly for years but started to notice my nails were becoming more frail and brittle. I had heard of Russian manicures and was so intrigued by them. I reached out to Venus via IG and told her I wanted to get my nails done but they felt so brittle. She assured me that she could get my nails looking beautiful and healthy! Fast forward to 5 months later and my nails have never felt or looked better! The length I can get on them is kind of insane and honestly mind blowing. She does amazing work and there is no lifting or peeling, even after six weeks! I am so happy I found her! She is funny, easy to talk to, and her work speaks for itself! read more

Third visit to Venus Nail Salon and I'm officially hooked. Venus specializes in Russian manicures, and her attention to detail is truly next level--super clean cuticles, precise shaping, and a flawless finish. My nails have never looked this neat and healthy, and the polish lasts beautifully without lifting or chipping. What really sets her apart is how meticulous and gentle she is. She takes her time, never rushes, and makes sure everything is perfectly shaped and balanced. You leave with that clean, high-end look that's hard to find. Another thing I love--if you bring her inspiration pictures, she will recreate them very accurately. She really listens and delivers exactly what you're looking for. From the outside, the salon might not look like much, but don't be fooled--the quality of her work is outstanding. The space is clean and welcoming, and Venus is professional, friendly, and very knowledgeable. She also gives great recommendations based on what will actually work best for your nails. If you're looking for a high-quality Russian manicure that lasts and looks amazing weeks later, she is absolutely worth it. Already booked my 4th appointment--that says it all! read more

I regularly get my nails done but I'm super picky about who's allowed to touch my perfect hands, fingers, and nail beds. Also whoever does my nails MUST HAVE the Kokoist Confetti Cake base it's my color and I can't live without it. I'm known by nail artists everywhere as Confetti Cake Girl. ...enter Venus! I was so happy to hear that she opened up her new space. Finding Venus was such a blessing because she does it all. She's an artist in every sense and is incredibly detailed and meticulous. I appreciate how she really cares what I want, is mindful of my nail health and goals, and takes the time to make sure that my nails are flawless before I leave. She also has a great eye for colors and recommendations when I'm on the fence about what kind of design I want. I love getting my nails done but I don't keep up with the trends and she's always up to date about what's new in the nail world. Also my thing when it comes to my nails is growing them long, naturally, and the lasting power of her manis is impeccable. My claws are strong and long (just how I like it) to the point where people always think my nails have extensions. Additionally the vibes are amazing. I am a yapper and I'm always chatting up a storm during my appointments. Venus is so funny and sweet and has the best stories. However she also can read the room when I need a chiller vibe. I just feel so comfortable, taken care of, and confident that I will leave with the prettiest nails. I literally get compliments on them everywhere I go so be prepared for that. Right now it looks like Venus mainly offers structured/builder gel, but I think it would be great if her services expanded in the future to display the range and versatility that I see in her IG posts. I would love to try different types of nails from Venus at some point later. Anyway I highly recommend booking with Venus. I always look forward to my appointments, and leave with my heart so full and my nails so freshhh. I feel like a new person with these nails. I definitely found my forever nail tech, it's like having a nail tech and bestie in one. Incredible!! read more

I was in desperate need of a nail refresh and wanted somewhere close to home, and I am so glad I found this gem of a salon. From the moment I walked in, she was warm, welcoming, and immediately made me feel comfortable. Life and work had gotten so busy that I had gone more than six weeks without doing my nails, and she truly brought them back to life. I even had the "rings of fire" from over drilling from a different salon and she didn't make me feel judged or bad about it, but simply educated on me on why it can happen and reassured me it will grow out. Her attention to detail is incredible. The shape alone deserves its own paragraph. I am very particular about nail shape, and she absolutely nailed it.... Guess it's right in the name . Clean, balanced, and somehow both soft and sharp at the same time. Don't even get me started on the C curve of my dreams... I am so happy! And for the first time ever, I showed a reference photo and my nails actually looked like the picture. Not inspired by. Not close enough. Exactly the picture. The color match was perfect. She checked in with me throughout the appointment to make sure everything felt right, which made it easy to speak up without that usual little flicker of anxiety. I left with the healthiest, most beautiful nails and a huge smile on my face. I am usually not big on small talk, but the accidental yap session we ended up having was honestly incredible and cathartic. She has a really natural ability to read people. If you are more quiet or just want to relax, she feels like the kind of person who would immediately pick up on that and adjust to whatever makes you comfortable without making it feel forced. You can tell she genuinely loves what she does. The space feels cozy, thoughtful, and full of small touches that make the whole experience feel special. I walked out staring at my hands like I had just made a major life decision, which feels like the correct emotional response to a perfect set of nails. I will absolutely be back. read more

I've been going to Venus at Venus Nailed It since October, and I honestly couldn't ask for a better Russian manicure specialist so close to home. Venus is incredibly meticulous and takes real pride in her work. She may take a little longer than other nail techs, but it's because she pays attention to every detail and makes sure everything is done perfectly. The quality truly shows. She's also super easy and fun to talk to, and I love that she even lets you watch a show on her iPad while you're there. On top of that, she's very artistic and always comes up with the cutest designs. One of my recent sets is still one of my all-time favorites! Highly recommend if you're looking for clean, precise, and beautifully done nails. read more

If you're done with having damaged, painful, "hard to look at" natural nails, it's time to make the switch to VENUS. She is not only a great artist (you can check her work on her ig @venusnailedit), extremely skilled & fast worker, AND she is so easy to talk to during appointments! It felt like I knew her for over 10 years ;) I was a hardcore acrylic girly, I couldn't let it go but this year I took a chance and I haven't looked back. I'll attach some photos but wow, never knew what builder gel + Venus's touch could do for me. If you're looking for a sign to try builder gel, THIS IS YOUR SIGN. I promise you it's worth a try. And if you don't like it- you can always go back to damaging your nails with acrylics...... Refer to my pics though, you gon love these girls!!! I started going to her in August so this is a couple months worth of growth. Pics might be outta order sorry read more

I've been coming to Venus a little over a year and Russian manicures completely changed my nails in the best way possible! My nails have never been this strong, long or healthy. My first Russian nail service was with Venus and I've never looked back or gone to anyone else because her service is always top tier, from the vibes to her attention to detail. I truly enjoy sitting there for the few hours it takes and that's saying a lot coming from someone like me who's introverted and doesn't like to waist my time. And the price point?! Can't beat it! 100/10! read more

I would give Venus a million stars if I could. I haven't had a consistent "nail lady" for quite some time. I would just pop into a few different shops over the years and get my nails done for a special occasion or, now that my kids are older, take them for a mani/pedi day. I am hard on any manicure I get and most would look good for maybe 5 days total. Thanks to Instagram, I started looking into Russian manicures and was mesmerized by how clean and flawless the cuticle work and finish on the nails appeared. Not to mention I was pretty obsessed with the milky/pale pink nail trend. When I read about how long Russian manicures last, I knew I wanted to give it a try. I found Venus on Instagram, booked my first appointment with her and now, 4 manicures later I am just absolutely thrilled with it all! Venus is an absolute gem. I haven't met another manicurist that I have felt completely comfortable with like her. Venus patiently answered all of my questions (I had a lot LOL) since builder gel was new for me. Today, my nails have never looked or felt better! They have grown stronger, longer and with zero irritation, pain or discomfort from the dry e-filing. And no kidding - my nails still look good 4 weeks later. Worth every single minute and dollar. I love looking forward to my appointments and am always looking at my nails constantly in awe of her work. Check her out!! read more

I found Venus on Yelp looking for a Russian manicure artist near Fremont in January and she has single handedly (no pun intended) changed my life! I stopped getting my nails done a long time ago as acrylics always broke or lifted and salons just ain't it. The comfortable vibe her studio offers plus the beautiful gel manicures she offers equal PERFECTION. I am very rough on my nails and not once has one broke or lifted and a set could easily last me over 4 weeks. Love her and her work! read more

I recently booked an appointment with Venus for a Russian Manicure and my experience was beyond incredible. Being a regular guy, I have never thought twice about my nail health. Recently, I found that my nails were being too sharply cut by me whenever I would clip them. This resulted in chipped nails and typically a painful few days. I recently have heard of the Russian Manicure "craze" going around and figured why not step out of my comfort zone and get my nails done right? One day I decided to get my nails serviced by Venus to see how a professional does it and the only thing I regret is not coming sooner. You can tell she is passionate and extremely skilled with her work. She has the precision of a surgeon all while remaining cool as a cucumber. The service took ~45 min and my nails have never felt better. It's a shame when I have to do something that involves getting my hands dirty because now my perfect nails and nail beds will become compromised! She will be seeing me again! read more

This was also my first experience with a Russian manicure and Venus did not disappoint. I used to be and press ons and acrylic girl but now I can confidently say I won't be going back!
