The last time I engaged a business for this work was extremely pricy and not flexible with time and not on time which are some important factors for a customer in me. My enquiry was about business being insured, licensed and bonded (yes, it is) and the pricing/ time availability (very reasonable especially with my multilevel stairs condo and very flexible with time). Be careful: very overpriced, different than other reviewers. Todd was helpful and spent a few hours with us, but that did not justify the amount he charged us (almost $200 per hour). I'd suggest you consider other options that are more reasonable in terms of costs before calling Ventflow. Look into Linteater (it's on Amazon) if you're into do-it-yourself, as that is the same kit as Todd used to unclog our vent. read more

Our clothes dryer vent runs under our building. I suspected ti was full of lint and maybe even disconnected. Todd came out and verified that it was disconnected and that the existing wrong type of vent was initially installed. As a result, hot, humid air has been blowing into the crawl space for who knows how long. Also, there was a thick layer of lint in the crawl space. Todd went under the building, which has a very tight crawl space, and installed a new vent. He started the job at 2:45 pm and ended at 6:15 pm. Had a great experience with this company. Even though our dryer vent is not the easiest to get to since our roof is pretty steep, with a rope tied off, he made it up to the vent and gave it a good cleaning. Our dryer was having issues blowing the thermal fuse, and after they cleaned out all the accumulated lint lining the duct (8 years worth) we have not had any more fuse issues. Also, one of the flaps on the vent opening broke so he replaced the louver cover and then also patched up a defect in the house construction where the vent duct didn't even run all the way to the wall--so it was partially venting into the wall. He only charged us a small amount for the extra work he did beyond the cleaning. Very happy that when he was done the whole system was in the best shape it could be and happy that our dryer is working like normal again! read more

Couldn't have chosen a better company to come clear our dryer vent which was clogged from a bird nest, accessed due to broken exhaust hood louvers... Todd is down to earth, polite, and very professional. He called an hour before he was scheduled, to let us know he would be arriving on schedule. Came and cleared the clog from the exterior and interior, replaced the louvered exhaust hood I bought from Home Depot. Bought a home recently and as the inspection report came back we needed to have our dryer vent cleaned out due to heavy buildup and most likely never done since the house was built. From what the inspector stated a lot of people disregard this but it can result in a fire and more concerning is the fact that if its not venting properly can cause mold growth in the space between the wall cavity where it's suppose to vent if the humid air has no where to vent properly over time.
