Kamran and Ali was fantastic! Kamran was responsive from the start and is communicative. My Whirlpool gas stove (7 years old) was starting to emit soot, even gas smell and at some point a combustion like effect. Kamran came out and looked at the problem and explained to my husband that there are parts that are in need of replacement. He charged us $90 to come out and diagnosis the issue and stated if we were to move forward with the job he recommends, he would apply that $90 towards the job. After some discussion, we decided to move forward. Kamran was responsive and ensure that he purchase only OEM parts and will let me know when the parts arrival to then coordinate a day for the service. I only had to wait a little over a week, he reached out to see what my availability was and we end up doing it the same day. They went above and beyond! Both Kamran and Ali was careful in handling the parts and when I had a moment, I squeezed in some cleaning because I never take the cover off or the face of panel, so I took that opportunity. Not only were they not irritated with me they actually helped cleaned the surface and under the panel and even behind the stove. Greatly appreciate their professionalism and more importantly the fair pricing. I've had my oven serviced by another company and the service there wasn't nearly as good as Staunch! And their labor cost is fair, $150-$180 depending on the complexity. Staunch Appliance Pro is a great value for repairing appliances like a clothes dryer in our case. Our dryer is (maybe?) ten years old (it came with the house which we bought 2 years ago.) It was "squealing" and making "clunking noises" while drying a load of clothes and it wasn't doing that great a job of getting the clothes dry either. We considered just buying a new one - and that might be the answer sometimes - but I wanted to see if a nearby technician could diagnose and repair our existing dryer - maybe give it as many as 5 more years of useful life before we send it to the recycler. Stuanch Applicance Pros (Kamran and another guy whose name I cannot remember - apologies) did exactly that. They went above-and-beyond because after the initial assessment the root cause of the issue wasn't just a belt that needed tightening, the mounting for the motor had been broken (causing the clunking noise) and the funnel for the hot air from the heating element had been cracked. They had to order the new bits which necessitated them coming back the next day. All told, for less than half the cost of a new one, Staunch Appliance Pro repaired our dryer to "as good as new" working order (no more squeals or clunks) and our dryer has been working much more efficiently (drying clothes in a shorter amount of time) for the last 6 weeks. I have great confidence that it was a good move on our part to keep this one rather than get a new one and that we'll get another 5 years or so from this one. A new dryer would cost at least 800 bucks and more like 1,000 before taxes and delivery/installation (for a total of 1100 or 1200 or thereabouts.) After taxes, the bill from Staunch Appliance Pros (which included parts in addition to labor) was just over $400 - so a great value in my opinion. Thank you, Staunch Appliance Pro. You were quick, communicated well, did a great job with other customer service aspects (friendly and thorough in explaining issues and 'next steps' and got the extra parts and returned the next day) and provided a valuable service at a very reasonable price. read more

Fridge wasn't cooling and had an error code. I reached out to Staunch Appliance Pro because they are near me and even though only a few reviews, they raved about Kamran and how amazing the service was. I received an immediate response from Kamran and requested a diagnostic appt. and he said he could be there next day. I asked if he could come out on Saturday instead which was not a problem. Kamran and his assistant came out, ran a diagnostic test and discovered within minutes, that the damper motor was broken. I figured that he would need to order the part and schedule the service for another date but he knew the problem would be one of two things and had already ordered the OEM parts, and had them in the truck! I was impressed that he diagnosed, installed the part and fixed the issue on the same day! But, the problem wasn't solved yet. A few hours later, the error code was back. When I called Kamran and let him know, he said it was more than likely because of too many plastic bags of food in the freezer (which he had mentioned the first time he was here) and said to empty it out and defrost the freezer due to the fact that the cold air needs to flow through the damper to the fridge. We emptied the freezer and Kamran and his assistant came out right away on a Saturday night at 8pm! I was impressed again! He took the back panel off the freezer and discovered that it was iced over and defrosted it. Once again, problem solved. We fortunately have a freezer in the garage so we put half of the food in that one. Our fridge and freezer have been working fine since. I can't thank Kamran enough for the prompt response, quality of work and friendly service! He didn't even charge a fee to come back out the second time. Great work, professionalism and value.
