Deliciousness

Wow what a beautiful view, we were seated by the window, I had no idea of this view my first time in this gem the staff from the moment we walked in were so genuinely kind & Michael made us feel like very valued customers! Our food was delicious & the tiramisù was the best I've ever had! We will be back sooner than later!

Cliff Notes Price Range: $$ Parking: Plenty Perk: Staff Non-Perk: Paying Ambiance: Classic Italian restaurant atmosphere Dress: Smart Casual Noise: Low to Med Temperature: Comfy Recommend: 100% Response Time: Medium Professionalism: 100% Date: 12/30/25 Dissertation: We came here for a birthday celebration and had a very pleasant experience overall. The ambiance was excellent, with an inviting atmosphere that made it an ideal setting for a special occasion. The staff was gracious and attentive, contributing positively to the evening. As for the food, the fish was outstanding and easily the highlight of the meal. The lasagna was satisfactory, though it did not quite rise to the same level as the seafood. Overall, a wonderful environment for celebrating, supported by friendly service and some truly excellent fish dishes.

The service we received was outstanding. Our server Carlos, was not only professional and efficient, but he was also warm and very personable. He made great, tasty suggestions, created a welcoming, enjoyable atmosphere for us. The staff together made everything run smoothly. Its very rare you come across service that feels that genuine. On top of great food, he made our night. The cioppino 10/10. Massive amount of delicious seafood packed in a flavorful broth. Id say some kind of pasta would be amazing with it, but you dont need it. Its huge.

The service was wonderful. Extremely on top of everything. Never had to ask for refills. He comped my soup the moment he learned I didn't love it. No complaints at all with the staff. The restaurant itself has a beautiful aesthetic and is very well designed overall. But.... This place is insanely expensive for the quality and for what it is. The food was mediocre at best. There was basically no lobster in the lobster bisque. The calamari was good and you get a ton of it. The lasagna was very greasy, the cheese on top was burnt to a crisp and inedible, there were not a lot of noodles and an over abundance of meat. The greasy sauce may have been a personal dislike though. I know some styles of sauce are supposed to be that way but I couldn't eat it because it was making me queasy. The fettuccine Alfredo was also just ok nothing great. Review from 2025

This is a very nice and spacious restaurant with excellent view. Parking is easy and plentiful. Based on all the great reviews, I would say that my experience with their food was a little bit disappointing. Not that it was bad, but it was very mediocre. I had the Filetto Di Salmone (grilled salmon with sautéed zucchini and a one-half baked tomato) and my husband had the Chicken Parmigiana (breaded chicken breast topped with Mozzarella cheese and marinara, baked with pennette pasta). Bread was nice and warm and really soft. So that was a good start. Salad was refreshing. The grilled salmon was okay, nothing to write home about. The sautéed zucchini that came with it was also very blend. The chicken breast in the Chicken Parmigiana was really salty but not flavorful. Even the pennette pasta in tomato sauce that came with it was not that tasty. Maybe it was an off night or maybe we didn't order the right things. Service was efficient and friendly. Prices were a bit on the high side for the food but not for the ambiance.

Great foods- esp the calamari fritte, rock shrimps and signature pasta (we got several dishes) and what amazed us was the level of service rendered by Carlos in the dining room. He was so attentive to our table and orders were accurate. He went beyond our expectations by his friendly demeanor with a smile. Our meal ended with a courtesy dessert for our birthday celebrant. We had been patronizing this restaurant for over two decades and is always consistent in the quality of food, service and atmosphere (skyline of the strip)! Top of the A- list and definite recommend to those who love Italian and seafood.

2nd visit Stopped back in for another event, very popular for that. The customer service is amazing. The male waiter has been employed for years. The appetizers are the best. The ambiance is fun, family dessert. Yes I said it. The semester tray is next level. Normally you would choose 1 item, but forty we received a platter with all voices. Yummy! Although I didn't indulge, everyone bragged about it. My daughter and sun requested leftovers or items to-go. I do have to report and didn't notice in my own dish, the salad wasn't washed well. Like not removing g the vein from shrimp.

Started in the bar with drinks, David is a consummate professional. Moved to a banquet room and feasted! The whole staff effortlessly handles large parties! The dining room is open and stylish in the Italian Countryside sort of way!

If you're looking for an italian restaurant with amazing flavor and authentic feel, this is your place! We ordered the caesar salad, meatball sub and fettucine al funghi with complimentary garlic breadsticks. All flavors were absolutely delicious!!! My pasta came with 4 jumbo shrimp which at first glance you'd think isn't enough, but I was left very full and satisfied! I love how we were able to seat ourselves since the restaurant wasn't too busy, we came on a Wednesday afternoon. We had the perfect view of the Strip from our booth. The servers were all very friendly and prompt. On top of it all, the total price at the end was more than reasonable. We will absolutely come back for date night!

Such an amazing dinner. So so yummy. The food is so fresh and made to order! I have numerous food allergies and they were able to make a meal for me. They have gluten free options! I ordered a gluten free chicken Parmesan. The shrimp stone is so great too. The sauces were both very tasty and a fun flavor. They had a wasabi sauce that paired perfect with the shrimp. Definitely a good dinner spot!

The lamb chops and the seafood risotto are absolutely delicious. The entire dining experience was wonderful from start to finish. The restaurant has such a warm and inviting ambiance, and the view makes it even better. It is a great place to relax, enjoy a good meal, and take in the atmosphere.

Lobster ravioli

Disappointed from our dinner experience here. My lobster ravioli was overpriced with only four pieces of ravioli & blackened shrimp at $36! The shrimp was overly salty too. Even my son's Kids cheese pizza tasted horrible. While the service was great, but the food was just horrible. We didn't choose this place & only ate here because our grandmother chose this restaurant for her birthday dinner.

Ventano's has a special place in my heart! Whether it's a casual family dinner or a private event in their back room, the people at Ventano's always makes it a very special meal! Their food and drinks are both amazing - you really can't go wrong. The vibes and view of the place are also spectacular! I love that they have coloring kits for kids Must get the shrimp and scallops on a hot plate, as well as an old fashioned! I love their veal parm as well as their risotto. Their pasta, especially with their pink sauce, is such a delight. You won't have room for dessert, but get it anyway as their cakes and creme brulee are the perfect way to end your meal!!! Absolutely love this place and will come back as often as I can :)

Ask the Community - Ventano

Are dogs allowed?

I've been there a few times and have never seen an animal. You should call them.

How can I buy a gift card or gift certificate if I live out of state?

Simply give them a call at 702-944-4848, and they will send it via email. You CAN'T order one through their websire. It's done strictly over the phone, and then it's delivered by email.

How casually can I dress? Shorts ok?

Shorts are totally ok. I've been here many, many times and have worn shorts nearly every time.

It says you close at 10, but we were turned away from dining area 1 little after 9. What is your correct time?

Do you have gluten free options?

Yes they have a gluten free pasta that's delicious!

Do you take reservations?

Yes

Do I need a reservation?

They told me when I went in August that they were only doing reservations and only taking them up until a certain time. I would definitely call in advance to make sure just incase they are still doing reservations only.

Can the full menu be ordered from the bar area?

Yes and it's amazing. No the bar does not smell. Last I checked, Bill you legally can smoke in a bar.

Is there a separate room for private parties?

Yes...it can seat up to 100. I used it for a party of 50.

There are so many different types of fish to choose from, and I love that each one can be prepared in multiple ways, so it never feels like you're ordering the same thing twice. Everything I've ever had here has been nothing short of phenomenal. The quality is consistently excellent, and the service is always just as impressive. The restaurant itself is spacious, clean, and fits the seafood-house aesthetic perfectly without feeling cramped or overly formal. Whether you're looking for a great date-night spot or you simply want a restaurant with an amazing variety of fresh fish, King's Fish House is such a solid choice. It's one of those places I can always count on for an excellent meal and experience.

When it comes to seafood, I consider myself blessed to be in Henderson simply because you have…read moreplenty of great options for seafood, ranging from sushi joints to the oyster bars at Sunset Station and Green Valley Ranch, to multiple Cajun-style seafood boil restaurants dotted around the neighborhoods. But for a long time, I've been looking for a place where I can just get simple seafood, and especially after my previous favorite place, Fish King Grill, closed some years back. I'm embarrassed to admit that I only just discovered King's Fish House a year or so ago, and even more so that I'm only just now reviewing it. Located smack dab in the middle of the District, the moment you walk in you feel like you've been transported to a portside restaurant in New Orleans, with plenty of boating equipment and fish models everywhere. King's Fish House specializes in seafood, as you might guess from the name, but I was quite surprised at the different types of seafood they have on offer here. Ranging from simply grilled fish, to Cajun and Creole seafood offerings, to even a raw bar and various seafood specialties from around the country and the world (they even have sushi on their menu!), King's Fish House has it all for those that love good seafood and more! Needless to say, after coming here a few times both by myself and with family, I love this place. Some of my personal favorite items include their yellowtail poke, the grilled octopus caponata, and their shrimp and scallops, but the real treat is the specials that come in every few months or so. This time around I got their Cajun-spiced cedar plank salmon, and it melted in my mouth. Make sure to save room for dessert, too -- my favorite desserts include their bread pudding and butter cake! Indulgent enough to share, but I won't judge if you opt to spoil yourself and finish it all! Between their great service, the fact that they source their fish, and enough choices and specials to keep you interested, I'm amazed that I didn't start coming here sooner, but I'm glad I did. Definitely add this to your rotation if you enjoy seafood as much as I do!

We ordered cocktails from a very limited menu. Our waiter wasn't sure how to make the lemon drop martini on the menu but said he'd try to follow the recipe. We asked for Grey Goose but watched him pour shelf vodka. Drinks were served after the appetizers arrived even though they were ordered first. We started with oysters. Waiter said they only had two kinds tonight so we ordered 6 of each. He set them down and left to get tobasco we requested. When he returned we asked which were which he said "we only had one kind so they're all the same." I feel he should have told us before serving them since they were $4 each! I ordered coippino which at $46 was expensive but I wanted a treat. Hubby ordered large clam chowder in bread bowl and Caesar salad. Cioppino lists first ingredient as crab. What I was served had no crab, 2 overcooked shrimp and rubbery calamari. The sauce was flavorful but so disappointing otherwise. I asked about the crab and was told "no crab" and I was offered additional scallops as compensation. He brought three small scallops on a plate. Hubby was served two small bread bowls of chowder with the explanation of "we are out of large bowls". Again, it should have been discussed prior to serving that there was a substitution. Who wants two big loaves of bread bowl??? The salad adequate-- a big bowl of romaine with croutons with a side of dressing. All in all not worth the over $150 it cost. Not in the least! And they charge an extra 3% if you use a credit card. We will not be back.
