Cioppino is fantastic! Every time I come here I am not disappointed! Staff is always on point and I love the view! I've also ordered the potato wrapped salmon and I usually never finish a plate because I can't finish it all but there was literally nothing left when I ordered this because I couldn't stop eating it. Bravo! Bravo! read more

Love this place been one of my favorite restaurant since I went there randomly if you love Italian food and oysters with amazing view of the strip and staff is amazing read more

I had a business dinner and it was excellent. Very pleasant atmosphere and nice ambiance. We had a variety of appetizers with cheese, roasted peppers, mushrooms, and more. It was quite tasty. The mixed greens salad was not my favorite. I ordered the Bone-On Ribeye Steak medium rare with scalloped potatoes and green beans. The ribeye was cooked to perfection and very flavorful. Greens were cooked just right with some crispness to it. I did have a bite or two of scalloped potatoes - they were tasty, I'm just not much of a potato fan. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone in the area. read more

Just returned home from another exquisite meal at Ventano Italian Grill & Seafood. What a delight! I would gladly give 10 stars if I could! Arnauld, Mike and the entire staff strive diligently to ensure each guest has a wonderful dining experience. And it shows!! Tonight, we were served by Adam and Adrian. We had barely been seated when Adrian appears at our table with our drinks. No, we did not have to tell him what we wanted ... they already knew. Where else can one find this kind of service? Amazing attention to detail! We dined on the special this evening, Filet Mignon with scalloped potatoes, green beans and grilled shrimp. The steak was so tender and juicy it just melted in your mouth. And, the scalloped potatoes? Simply divine! Please give Ventano's a try. You'll be glad you did! read more

Excellent wait staff and even better food, we have eaten here numerous times and always have the same results

Always good food and wonderful service. If you don't care for Italian try the ribs and everyone should try the risotto.

My friends and I went out to lunch today to celebrate a birthday. Lalo was our waiter and went ot of his way to make sure that our lunch was remarkable. The food was excellent, the wine 2as excellent and the company was excellent, what more could one ask for. read more

We have been here several times and are never disappointed. The service is excellent and friendly and the owner is usually around to check on things. My wife and I have been there several times. Our server is Mike we always asked for him. The food is great the owner is very polite. We say it's our favorite restaurant I would definitely recommend. I just moved back to Nevada and I was so excited to eat a blackened grilled chicken Cesar salad. My friends and I used to come 2 years ago on the weekend and grab a salad. I was so disappointed, The chicken had layers and layers of seasoning, so salty it hurt to swallow. I had 2 bites and threw it. The worse part is I was so excited I bought 2, 1 for now and another for later and it definitely wasn't cheap. I won't be going again. read more

Put it on the menu as Kraft mac and cheese then. I would have steered her away from it. Going into a great restaurant you'd expect homemade. She's 5, and cant eat a full adult portion. Your response, even though I love your food, makes me NEVER want to return. read more

Ventano's not like it was when we moved here in 2004. Were always pleased with the food and service. After having not been there in a few years, we returned on Sat. Service very spotty. Food was horrible. Egg Plant Parmesan mushy and tasteless. Rigatoni Parmegano was beyond bad, no flavor, no distinguishable sauce and pasta over cooked. read more

Went to Ventano's for our anniversary dinner. Our server was Austin. Very friendly, very efficient. My wife had a Ribeye special and I had the Ventano Spiedini. Very delicious. Also received a complimentary anniversary dessert. We will be going back. read more

Absolutely love this restaurant! Went their for the first time last week. I had the Linguini with clams and my wife had the Spaghetti Carbonara. Both were absolutely delicious. Can't wait to go back and try something different. read more

We have been dining here for nearly 20 years and are extremely happy with the delicious food, the great service and the wonderful atmosphere. Between the two of us, we have had almost everything on the menu. Chef Arnauld quite often leaves his kitchen and greats guests during their dinner to make sure the food and service are up to his standards. read more

I hate to give any restaurant one star, however it is well deserved. My mother and I went to dinner last night and ordered the Eggplant Parm and Cheese Tortellini with pesto sauce. We dined outside for the view. My first complaint is that the hostess was ABSOLUTELY disrespectful to this older couple sitting a table across from me. They wanted the curtains open for the view, and she came out and closed it after they had said they would like it open, and then threw the curtain against the older woman's back and refused to fix it for them because "they messed it up in the first place." I was taken back by her attitude towards these customers. Then, our server was MIA most of the night, and I had to persistently ask for our bread to come out and for refills on my water. Just bad service. The food tasted pretty good in the moment, however, as soon as my mother and I got home, we both threw up all $70 worth of food. I am writing this the morning after, and we both still are sick to our stomachs beyond belief. I refuse to eat here again. Not only because of my upset stomach, but due to the way that they treated their customers. Would not recommend. There are plenty of other restaurants with a great view and great food. Just not this place. read more

I loved my first experience here! I went with a group of friends late night. The food was great. The staff was friendly, and they have very reasonable pricing! The atmosphere is very upbeat and inviting, and the view is fabulous! I would definated recommend this establishment to anyone looking for a relaxing evening. I'll be back for sure! read more

Ventano is one of our favorite restaurants in all of Las Vegas. The food is on par with - if not BETTER than- the strip restaurants, and the price is affordable. It is so much more than simply an Italian restaurant - We often get their fish of the day or other recommended menu addition (like ribs). The service is always amazing, and they have an INCREDIBLE view of the strip! The ambiance is so nice - We love going there for romantic dinners and for celebrations with our family. The food is THE BEST! read more

Real italian food. The sauces are a true meaning of gravy.

Having just returned to town I stopped into one of my favorite places for the great lobster bisque. It was wonderful! Very creamy bisque and nice pieces of lobster. The bread that was served with it was hot but I was not offered any butter. However, the service was bizarre. I sat at the bar which had all of five other people in it and had to ask another patron to get the bartender's attention. Richard, the bartender, was in a very focused conversation with a man at the end of the bar. I ordered a glass of wine, and just the bisque which was served by Richard without a napkin. I had to once again gain Richards attention for a glass of water. When I have gone here with my husband I received much better service. Also the bill was a bit confused as my check was $21.62. It was not itemized and I have no idea why they charged me $21.62. I was gambling at a dollar machine, and. since the bill was not itemized it made no sense to me. I hope the servers at this restaurant aren't victims of the myth about women and tipping. I know it is difficult to find good workers in this town. Perhaps the manager should implement a reward for service program. read more

Always wonderful. We've been coming there for almost 10 years and never had a bad experience. This place is perfect for Bdays, New Years, lunch, or any special occasion! read more

Amazing view and food is great quality. Only thing I disliked is the dining room had this slight rotten fish dish water smell. I'm guessing because they had redone the kitchen the day before but it was really strange. The smell is most likely gone by now so I'll be returning soon! read more

The staff here was amazing. We never had a glass of water become empty. Our server was excellent and attentive but not overwhelming. The bread was okay. I didn't like how they mixed the balsamic vinegar and oil together without asking, but it really wasn't a big deal. We got the steamed mussels and they were great and they came with close to two dozen. The white wine sauce was perfect. I got the spicy marina shrimp (not the real name) and my husband got the veal parmigiana. I'd recommend both. The view was beautiful. Great place! read more

Lovely Valentines dinner on the patio. With our engaged daughter & fiancée and his parents visiting from Detroit. I'm giving it 4 for the food. Would have been a 5 if common sense was a part of the experience. I aside at 5pm on a tuesday. I asked to be seated by the window to relax and have a view. I was one of 6 people in the restaurant. In come a group of 4 and where do they seat them directly in the line of the setting sun, so instead of seating them at one 20 empty tables not in line with the setting sun, they are seated then the sun shade is dropped over the window by my table. So much for the relaxing view. Lalo my server was spot on great kid. read more

I had heard great things about this restaurant and really expected to love it. This is a really big restaurant and space that can feel overwhelming when you walk in. Our table had a gorgeous view of Vegas and the mountains, however the staff pulled the shade closed for most of the dinner (likely due to sun glare) so we were disappointed we did not have the view for most of our meal. I was with a big table of 8 people. We started with appetizers, rice balls, calamari, bruschetta and fresh bread for the table. All were tasty. Several of us ordered Caesar salads before dinner. I didn't think to ask for the dressing on the side though I wish I had. My salad was drenched in the dressing making it by so great to eat. For dinner entrees, the table ordered everything from steak and potatoes, lasagna, eggplant rollatini, bolognese and seafood/pasta combo. The entrees took more than 2 hours to be served to us. The chef proactively came out and apologized for the long wait and offered to give us a special dessert. We were all in good spirits, enjoying the company and understood this sometimes happens. Once the dinner entrees came out, it was mixed reviews. I was given manicotti instead of eggplant rollatini, my seafood companion thought the scallops were chewy. Others really liked their pasta meal. I did not bother telling the server my meal was wrong because at that point we had been at the restaurant for over 3 hours and just wanted to leave. The chef ended up sending a large plate of ice cream, donuts, etc. for the table to enjoy. I might give this place one more try next time I am in town, but likely will try another restaurant since there are so many places to eat near Vegas. read more

They forgot about us, put us in the corner with the worst view, and treated us poorly (I think due to the fact that we are younger). The food and drinks were also meh for the price, and a great view can't make up for that. read more

This was one of the worst Italian meals I have ever had. The calamari was sub-par at best and the franchise was essentially alfredo sauce with lemon added. I can here from the ratings but was extremely disappointed. This was topped off with waiting about 20 minutes for our server to come over to get the check when we had clearly been done. The only good part of the dinner was the wine and the view but we will not be back. read more

Everything is overly large and underwhelming. In the trade off between quality and quantity, Ventano serves up large platters of passé fare. It's not that it's bad per se. It's just not that good. It strikes me as a notch above the Olive Garden, only without the pretense that you're family. You're a customer. But not one they will pay much attention to. A plate pushed to the side sat for ten minutes in a mostly empty restaurant. read more

I went here late night last week. I sat at the bar. The bartender Matt helped me out. He made some really good wine and food suggestions. And provided really good service which is rare to find these days. And if the good food and service wasnt enough. I ended up making some money on the machines. I Will be back for sure. Hard to find places with service and quality like this anymore. Thanks Matt keep it up. read more

Almost 5 stars! The service is amazing. Had adam for our waiter and he was beyond excellent. The shrimp scampi was very good. Lots of solid menu options. View from the patio of the city behind ya is very nice as well. Beers are a little pricey. Besides that a very good value read more

Food is good. Bar is full of smokers so if you don't smoke sit in restaurant section.

With some of the most spectacular strip views of any restaurant around here, I always expect so much more from this place. I love the ambiance. The space is inviting for small and intimate parties or big groups. I've been here with large birthday parties and for romantic date nights. The large windows in the back that overlook the strip are the perfect spot for a romantic dinner, and we've even seen an engagement happen there! The employees are friendly and the service is decent enough. But the food isn't consistent and I often wonder if the ravioli are fresh or frozen. It's been cold multiple times that I've gotten it. For these prices, which would be reasonable for a much higher end locale and a much more palatable experience, the ravioli just doesn't live up to my standards. And bread in a paper bag? This would be charming at, let's say, Pizza Rock, but here, it just seems out of place. This is one of my favorite locations to celebrate because of the views, ambiance and proximity to my house. But it just isn't my favorite dining experience. read more

With the boy out and about I had a chance to partake in a date night with the GF. We were in the mood for some Italian and bounced over to VIG&S. Given that it was Saturday night, parking lot was full and we did not do reservations, we were able to make it in after the 7:00 dinner rush. We were even able to get a table next to a large window with a great view of valley. Our waitress was friendly and explained the menu and specials with much happiness. We started off with the "Arancine" risotto bals stuffed with peas, beef and cheese..delicious. I ate the "Francese" chicken which was lightly sauteed in egg batter and parmesan and covered in a lemon butter sauce. I gave up bread but because everything was so damn tasty, I even ate it. Cool atom, great views, tasty chow...I will be back. read more

Four of us went here last night at 7:00 pm. We were seated promptly and provided menus, water and bread. We waited 15 minutes for a waiter who wanted to take our drink order but we were not provided a wine list so we had to wait another 15 minutes to place our order. We then waited 35 minutes for our food. The waiter offered us free dessert for the wait- the restaurant was not busy. He asked if 1 of our party wanted more wine and they said yes but the wine did not arrive until after he finished eating so he turned the wine away. Our waiter also stood behind us when speaking to us which was very odd- 2 of our party could not see him as he spoke. The food was good but we will not return. read more
