We ordered the truffle mushroom risotto, butter chickpea curry, and spicy buffalo cauliflower wings. My favourite was probably the curry. It had good flavour, the pita was nice and crispy and even tasted great on its own. Spicy buffalo wings were the next one but I found them a little salty. Risotto was disappointing (maybe I'm just picky with my risotto) but I didn't really taste the mushroom that much. The interior was spacious and had cool paintings on the wall. Service could be better.

We ordered the green goddess salad and the bang bang broccoli bowl. The green goddess portion was quite small for the price you pay, but was still a nice healthy meal. We tried ordering the bang bang broccoli with brown rice but disappointingly, they had run out. The broccoli was charred nicely and the sauce wasn't too heavy, and overall was a really delicious bowl (definitely recommend getting this!) We were surprised to find an automatically added 15% gratuity to our bill at the end of our meal, despite there being just the two of us - so something to keep in mind when choosing to dine here (unsure if this would also apply for take out orders).

They had so many variations of these bowls and lots of vegan and vegetarian options to choose from. The service via Uber Eats was quick and had no issues with that. When it came to the food, I was certainly underwhelming. I was not a fan of the Smoky Chipotle bowl and had thought I would love it based on the ingredients in the bowl. I found it lacked flavour and was just completely bland. The sauces had a weird aftertaste and I just did not enjoy the bowl overall. I hope the rest of their bowls are good and I just got a one off not pleasant one. I don't think I would be ordering again from this place. 5/10 recommend!

I was having one of those days where I felt a little under the weather and the last thing I wanted…read morewas heavy, greasy food. I was downtown and stumbled upon this grab-and-go spot, and it was exactly what I needed. I ordered two burrito bowls and a soup, and the total was around $50. Honestly, it was worth every single dollar. What really sold me on this place is how precise they are--they literally measure out every portion of protein, vegetables, and fats. It's awesome for anyone who's tracking their intake or just appreciates getting a perfectly balanced meal. Beyond the great food, the staff was super friendly and genuinely helpful. The prices are totally fair for the quality you get. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in the area and looking for a quick, healthy bite.

But there are some key staples that are now harder to get. I think the biggest disappointment are now: 1) Though prices have remained the same, portions are much smaller and have gotten smaller over the last year. Whereas I found that getting the mini sampler was enough food for me to be full, now there's a gap where I still feel the hunger. 2) Their butter chikn isn't great. The consistency is good, but the flavour is bland under the cover of heat. 3) Clarity in their menu has deteriorated slightly. The last few times I've gone in, there's been confusion about portioning and what's what. I'm kind of saddened as I feel like the quality of overall experience is just different. I might have to find somewhere new to get my fix.

I have been coming to Hogtown vegan for a number of years now…read more I have always enjoyed the hogtown burger. Extra pickles makes it extra special. The fries may be salty, but they are a fantastic option. In fact, the side order of fries is more than enough for two people. That said, I've never had a hard time getting in. One thing to be aware of, is the washrooms are down a steep flight of stairs.

After having waited, almost an hour to get a table, we seated outside. After placing our order for drinks and food, it didn't show up until well after more than an hour. When I asked the waitress where our order was as it was getting late for the grandkids, she came back with a payment terminal, thinking I was ready to cash out. We hadn't even received our dinner order yet! This was probably the worst service I've ever experienced in the city in a very long time. If this is indicative of the service, it is not surprising that this restaurant is failing despite the long waiting lines. The food was as expected, although I felt that ours was overcooked, and the french fries albeit good, felt like they were the end pieces. I was inclined to not leave a tip at all, but I know that we staff rely on tips for their income. I wish them all the best in the future endeavors.

The storefront is in a underground food court in Torontos' financial district. It's quite clean, small, but efficient. I ordered the 3 piece vegan wings (everything here is plant based FYI) and an Asian Fusion bowl. The employee taking my order was very friendly and quick. Got my number to wait for and within 5 minutes I was on my way. Good service. However my first thing I tried after I got back to my hotel I ate the wings. Holy sodium. Almost like eating straight salt. The wings were way too salty even before dipping them in the Frank's wing sauce. Almost inedible salty for me. Minus two stars for that. The Asian Fusion bowl wasn't as salty, but still pretty strong bit of sodium. The veggies were tasty, my protein choice which was tempeh which was cooked and seasoned well. Overall not bad, but maybe let natural flavors come out in the food instead of turning towards tons of salt.
