REALLY GOOD FOOD! Parking situation sucked because I didn't have a credit card with me, but free parking down the street which is a short walk. Cozy seats, clean and aesthetically pleasing. They do not have a tipping system as 15% service charge is added to each bill (no matter your party size) Our menu was dirty and covered in food. The lattes were too hot and burned. The matcha latte was disgusting. That was the only bad. Everything else was great. Let the photos do the talking. Their brunch is AMAZING (available Saturday-Sunday until 3 pm)

This place definitely wasn't my favourite The food was okay, but it definitely wasn't worth the price. I feel like it the look was Instagram-worthy, but the service need help. Order four things French toast Carrot cake Sweet potatoes fries & an alcoholic drink The drink I got was incorrect I had to remind them about the carrot cake, which I ended up not liking The potato was at the perfect temperature, but the French toast was cold. Safe to say I won't be back

    Local beer, fresh and tasty.

Very good selection of well prepared vegan dishes. I had the Caesar salad and my wife enjoyed the Classic burger with fries. My daughter enjoyed a crab cake burger with fries. Food was fresh and well presented. They do have a liquor license and I had a pint of their own brew which was very tasty. The restaurant is light and airy with a small patio. The staff do a very good job and the service was exemplary. No tipping is acceptable as they include a mandatory 15% service charge. Definitely worth a visit.

I'm not a great fan of vegan food but since my friend's were raving about it I just went along must say it's one of the best vegan restaurants that I've been to Awesome There waseating outside however since it was full sat inside and in spite of having an air conditioner inside it was hot as hell actually had a sweat bath in the month of August The drink hibiscus lemonade was not too the main entrée was excellent like we ordered a sushi tofu a sticky sauce tofu don't remember the exact name it was excellent the best we ever had it was way way beyond our expectations so a full 5 The service was good too The chocolate cookie was great too I just have to go back for the sushi style tofu and strongly recommend it too A great vegan place A must try will not be disappointed

We went into Community Restaurant as it looked really good online. We were pointed to our seat, and asked to go sit down without the hostess/server seating us. We sat down, and were given room temperature water. I informed the waitress of my allergies, and the waitress looked uninterested and unsure of whether it's going to be in contact with my food. This was a concern for me and decided to order just the sweet potato fries as I was not interested in taking a trip to the hospital. The food came, and it was over salted. My 'Sweet Dreams' mocktail tasted like it was going bad, and halfway through decided I can't do it anymore. Our friend did not enjoy their food, and only partially ate it as they were starving. We all ended up having to get food elsewhere afterwards. My biggest gripe with all of this was the auto-gratuity. No where is it listed on their website, let alone outside the restaurant. You can only find it listed when you go inside, and sit at the table, where there is ONE paper for the whole table that says this. It is 15% auto-gratuity to "ensure competitive industry compensation and benefits for our valued team-members." They state "In order for all of our staff to earn a living wage, we feel it's important to get rid of tipping and implement a service fee" The definition of gratuity is "something given voluntarily or beyond obligation". This should be called what it is: a fee. The service was slow, missing our food at some points, and not being attentive what's so ever. The second server was offended afterwards when we didn't tip extra, despite having the 15% tip already forced on us for non-existent service.

Ordered via ubereats and tried their vegan chik'n caesar wrap. It was okay, nothing too special tbh. The caesar sauce had a weird chemical aftertaste for me, not sure what that was about. The chik'n was fried mushroom and was decent. The fries that came with it were pretty bland. Not worth the price for sure. Service was really nice and the employees are nice. Overall 3/5, decent but would not get again or recommend. At least it was a healthy meal :)

    Cocktails

Cocktails were wonderful, lentil crepe with mango chutney was excellent, great Cesar salad and possibly the best French fries I have ever had. There were too many things I wanted to try, will just have to keep going back!

Rating 4.5 at present as they have just done a soft launch.....once their furniture is in and ambience is set I'm sure it could be higher. I always enjoyed going to their Oakville location and I was thrilled to find out the opened in Port Credit. I stopped in on Sunday evening after returning from the Pride festivities in TO. A short walk from the sport Credit GO station. They have weekend brunch but at the time I arrived the chef could only do the waffles. So I opted for the Mac and cheese instead....thank goodness I did because it was AWESOME! Gf pasta with a spicy homemade sauce (not artificial cheese product) and crunchy topping. It hit the spot. I took my food to go and the Mac and cheese was still good when I got it home. The lime pie or cheesecake (I forget what it was listed as on the menu) did melt in the heat by the time I got it home. The flavours were good though and I Look forward to trying it fresh in restaurant. Sweet graham base and slightly tart lime filling with a light whipped "cream" topping. It was recommended by the server and was a good choice. The owner, Alka, came out and said hello just as she did on my many visits to the Oakville location. She is absolutely lovely and I wish her tons of success:))

    A gorgeous avocado toast.

Very tasty food and refreshing drinks! I did not expect that! We had an awesome, friendly waitress which also elevated the experience.

Veggie Paradise specialises in Veg take-out (call ahead), Frozen/Dried meals and ingredients. I write "Veg" 'cause it may be even Vegan, as opposed to just Vegetarian. They also do custom vegan/vegetarian cakes/pastries. This place is run by 2 sisters and their workers. As soon as Sandra heard that I wanted something to eat, she prepped me with an Asian meal - as opposed to their other meals that are more popular amongst gwai-lo. Meal comprised of a soup (looked like Tom Yum, but not sweet/spicy), a separate plate with Rice, Bok Choy (chopped with garlic), & a portion of fermented Mustard Greens with Green Peas (this was medium spicy). The meal was tasty, yet rather homey as it wasn't overly salted. I really felt like I was eating at an aunt's house! This place is located in a rather industrial, catering to Vegans/Vegetarians (or people who just enjoy the occasional veg meal), so just call ahead if you want to order something! The sisters will even offer you a sample if it's available. :)

Ok, so I rarely write reviews. I find them a bit of a waste of time, and I'm firmly against writing…read moreone if you dislike the restaurant. Hence why we're here. Well, at first I was a bit on the fence about ordering cause of the vegetarian/vegan menu, I like my meat, love meat, got to have my protein dammit! But wow! was I ever surprised and happy about following my gut and choosing to go there. You see, I'm from Vancouver, and if you know a bit about my hometown is that you know we have a very large asian population. Heck, I'd even go as far as saying it's my second language, (my first language is English and my parents are Chilean...never spoken a word of it) but I've been around it so much somehow, I feel I could get by given the chance. So, by examining the pictures from the online menu, I thought to myself; If the food is anything remotely like the pictures, it looks exactly like my fav spot in Vancouver - Congee Noodle King- also a must try if you're in east Vancouver. Just trust my absent Asian ancestry ok?! I ordered the N65. Fried Noodles with Steamed and Stir-Fried Bean Curd, and as a request asked them to make it spicy to which they happily and kindly obliged. This dish was packed with flavour. Oh em gee! Loaded with fresh crunchy veggies, the noodles were spot on: thin, velvety and a lot of them. Makes for some healthy slurps! Oh, did I mention the meat? No, I didn't, because it didn't have any, and I have never not missed something so much. The crispy fried bean curds tasted like deep fried spare ribs. My pupils dilated a bit. And that's ok cause I went into a food coma, got to heaven and wrote a review about the very first Asian restaurant I try in Toronto and I'm already planning to go back. If you give this place less than 5 stars you don't know food, Asian food or how to speak it so go on and chew on some meat! Thank you for the wonderful and friendly service as well. I shall return. How do you say that in Mandarin? Cheers! - Patricio

I tried their soy chicken drum sticks, kim chi, dumplings, siu mai, and radish cake. My absolute favourite and would recommend is the radish cake!! It is so good. The kim chi was off-putting and was drenched in whatever sauce. The dumplings are also really good as well. I like the layout and aesthetics of the restaurant. One thing to note also was that the employees just seemed miserable. I understand we came an hour before closing but they just seemed miserable and sort of ticked off that we were coming an hour before closing.

BEWARE: ENTER AT YOUR OWN RISK…read more If my memory serves me well, this is the first time ever that I've given an establishment a 1 star rating ... and these are the reasons why: They were seriously understaffed in the kitchen - specially knowing that it was Mother's Day There were 4 of us and we chose to order one starter between us so that we could save our appetite for the mains The Bang Bang Broccoli took one hour to arrive... yes- ONE HOUR During this time we were told just how many cocktails would not be available because they were out of some ingredients ( and this was at 1:30pm on Mothers Day ) - but I must say they had water available and they served that at lightning speed Then 45 minutes after our appetizer arrived and after asking our server and anyone on the staff that we could speak to, one of the 4 mains arrived...which self respecting restaurant would: 1. Take so long to serve the food with any explanation whatsoever? 2. After such a delay, bring only one of the four dishes that were ordered? By this time we were ready to leave but eventually got the other 3 mains and had them packed and took them back home - since our daughter had to drive back to London to be there at 6pm - which she thought would give all of us enough and more time to have a nice leisurely lunch with a reservation for 1pm ... clearly Community Restaurant had other plans Now comes the kicker... as we were heading out I told one of the servers to please tell the owner that if this is how he/she runs a business it would shut down pretty quickly - to which she replies: You're right, this has been sold and will change hands in 2 weeks Good riddance And no thanks for upsetting my daughter who wanted to make the day special for her mother

Took a good while to make us sit in a half empty restaurant. The food came pretty quickly and service was just OK after that. The interior is nice. The coffee we started was very weak and lukewarm warm. We asked for a refill and the refill was the same as well. Hollandaise Benny was good, the Just egg perhaps cooked from the frozen ready was good. The Impossible/Beyond Sausage was good. The Hollandaise sauce was well made. Disappointed with the home fries quantity - very few. The Chik'n Burger made from Oyster Mushroom was very good. Crunchy outside and shredded mushroom to give a chicken texture. Just too greasy for us. Again the fries very few - the plate looks empty and not filling for us. IMO not good enough value for almost $25 all in. The Chik'n and Waffles, same Chik'n as the burger good. The 3 piece (?) waffles were great. The fries still less, however there some salad as well. Good restaurant, OK service. Food is OK, a bit pricey for what we got.
