I've been hesitant to stop by 'cause I didn't exactly know what My Secret Kitchen is, but now that I do know, I'll share the secret with you... They have a few prepared items (salads, breaded veal/chicken cutlets), there's a freezer with various, frozen, stuffed pastas and desserts that are made in-house, and there are things like condiments (olive oil, balsamic vinegar, bottled grilled veg) for sale. There was only 1 small bistro table inside, 2 tables outside, but I'm not sure if this was a Covid thing. Some items like bacalhau should be preordered to ensure freshness. Anyway, the 2 ladies who were there were very friendly. They'll let you know what's available, suggestions, etc. If there's something that you want, they'll take it out of their freezer, add sauce, and cook it up fresh for you! Their menu is online, so you can get an idea of the kind of food they offer (Italian/Portuguese) and price-point. I believe they mainly cater, but they do takeout as well. read more

Not a super long review. But, this place is exactly what you would expect. Everything they deliver, tastes really good. Everything they offer makes sense. But, it is not the cheapest place in town. This was my first time in Port Credit. I noticed there were many enticing Italian options around the area, but the one place that really caught my eye was My Secret Kitchen. Their main business is catering and frozen entrees, but you can still pop in to grab and go or catch a quick bite on their limited number of stools. I'm pretty sure the beans have been spilled on the quality of this place, considering that they've been nominated for several restaurant/business awards in the Mississauga area. The staff there was helpful and was willing to throughly explain how I can customize my pasta. I ordered a mushroom and cheese ravioli with spicy tomato meat sauce (meat was $1 extra). The pasta was homemade on the spot and was Al dente. The sauce was hearty, and had a nice kick to it. The only issue I have with is I could barely taste the mushroom. On the way into the shop, I also couldn't help but notice that they have rotisserie chicken for sale only on Fridays and the weekends. With the good fortune of going on a Friday, I order half a chicken for take out. Overall, the chicken did not disappoint. It was well marinated and there was enough char on the skin. Is it the cheapest place? Definitely not, but I think the price is reasonable and you get what you pay for! And that's quality! read more

Nice and cozy diner with a very reasonably priced menu, amazing food (the beef kebab was great! And so was the coffee!), friendly staff, and nice ambiance. Might be the best local,spot ever. Homemade as good as momma makes it. Perfect Italian sandwiches pasta etc. They even have the most awesome day olds where you can get frozen food for dirt cheap. I remember getting a tray of veals, like three four pieces for like six bux. Six bux! Can't believe I haven't gone back. I eat out so much I follow all the deals but can't believe i having hit their freezer again, trust me, I'll,be doing so,soon. We had a luncheon catered for 20 people by My Secret Kitchen. The food was amazing! The rotisserie chicken was a huge hit! Everybody talked about the flavour and it was moist and flavourful. We had grilled veggies that were awesome and large portions of tasty roasted potatoes and salad. The food arrived on time and the food was ready to serve ( hot foods nice and hot!) The cost was VERY reasonable and the owner,Stephanie, was great to work with. It's everything a good caterer should be. Made a quick call yesterday for a catered lunch for today...So accommodating and friendly! The meal was delicious!

I stopped by for lunch at My Secret Kitchen and ate linguini with tomato sauce and grilled vegetables on a bun. The pasta and bun were absolutely delicious. Everything tasted very warm and fresh! I then worked with Stephanie to organize a bridal shower and she was fantastic to deal with. She helped me arrange the renting of a tent, linens, plates and cutlery and provided wait staff to help me. The appetizers, chicken, fish and grilled vegetables were amazing! The waitresses Christina and Claudia worked so hard and stayed late to make sure everything went smoothly. It was a beautiful day and I received many compliments about the shower. I had My Secret Kitchen cater birthday party at my home for about 25 people. My five star rating says it all. First, Stephanie is amazing to deal with. She made some great suggestions and coordinating the details was super easy. Everything was delivered exactly the way we arranged. Now the food - let me just say WOW. We served the food - which was the perfect temperature - and I didn't even have a chance to try it before a friend came over to say, "Have you tried the veal?? I had 5 pieces already!!" I had to tell him to ease off the food so everyone else could fill their plates too. We went with "The Italian" with Italian relatives coming over. They were equally impressed and several people wanted to know who the caterer was. I will say the veal was amazing, the chicken was delicious, and the pasta sauce was perfection. Quantities were generous. We got a couple of appetizers which were delicious as well. Although off the highway a few miles, it was a breath of fresh air and well worth the drive to this culinary kitchen of delicious unique homemade salads and fresh specialty sandwiches and pastas. I had one of the specials: veal Parmesan sandwich on fresh-baked crusty bread. Homemade hot pepper sauce was offered and my husband loved it! I tried the smoked tomato jam on a cracker and bought a jar to take home. My don's chicken cutlet with homemade mashed potatoes was also a big hit, as were the delectable cookies and other caramel desserts. Friendly owner greeted us and made us feel very welcome. My Secret Kitchen has one of the largest selections of fresh and vegan salads in Port Credit. I would definitely recommend the raw zucchini noodles with the curry coconut mango dressing. The layers of sweet, salty, tangy, and spicy flavours made it refreshing. I ordered the grilled lemongrass chicken banh mi as well and it was amazing. read more

Just happened to passed by this shop and realize they just opened recently. The store is nicely layout and clean, they have a good selection of vegan/vegetarian options and if you are not vegetarian they also have quite a few selection of dishes and pre made entree with meat as well. I tried their zucchini salad, beat salad and their chickpea curry. They are all freshly made and with good flavour but the zucchini salad is the star. I will certainly return to try few more things and on the day when I'm in a hurry and just grab a pre made dinner. It is a little gem in the port credit area. Highly recommended. read more

What a find! My business partner and I came across My Secret Kitchen by chance one day. We were greeted by a friendly and cheerful person, who ended up being the charming owner Catherine. We both decided to have the daily special (Orange Beef) that was tender, flavourful and delicious. They also have a dozen or so fresh salads and vegetables on offer that were equally as wonderful. Over the next couple of weeks we returned another four or five times for lunch and our only regret is that we didn't find MSK sooner!
