Generally it is egg noodle-based but their version used rice noodles which was a fine substitute. The chicken was flavorful and the portion was generous, loved the crispy noodles in the curry broth which is a standard topping. All in all I would recommend this place to anyone in the area! They seem to be a family run business and I hope they do well so I can continue frequenting their restaurant. :)

The music was low and soft, which worked well since most of the tables were talking pretty loudly. It didn't feel chaotic or overstimulating, and we were still able to have a comfortable conversation. Service was decent -- we were seated quickly and the food came out in a reasonable amount of time. Here's what we ordered: Tiger's Tears ($15) - 3/5 This was the dish I was most excited about. It's described as grilled beef with chili-lime seasoning, onions, scallions, and sweet peppers. Unfortunately, it fell short of expectations. The beef was noticeably tough, chewy, and a bit sinewy rather than tender and juicy. The chili-lime sauce was very sharp and aggressively acidic -- overwhelmingly sour to the point where it masked the savory, char-grilled flavor of the meat. It was supposed to be spicy, but as an Asian who regularly eats and enjoys spicy food, there was barely any heat at all. Being that I prefer tsukemen over ramen, dipping sauce over soup, over the years, I have definitely eaten my fair share of this type of noodle. The broth is a thick gravy that is meaty and dashi-rich at the same time. Not too salty, although slightly bitter at times. What really stands out at Okiboru is their thick and toothsome tsukemen noodles. The texture of these noodles alone keeps me returning. QR code menu and friendly service. Bar style atmosphere at this location. So nice to have an authentic tsukemen shop at the mall. I like to stop by before seeing a movie.

We usually come for their Pho but have tried many plates and it truly never disappoints. We usually get Bobby as our server and he's so kind and always asks how we're doing and what we're up to. The restaurant is very nice and clean. It's definitely our go to spot after a few drinks. Nothing cures a hangover better than Pho! We have tried other Pho places but they don't even compete to this one. Their broth and noodles are the best. We drive about 40 minutes to come here and will continue to do so!
