Last night was the end. We were given an incorrect order. A sushi roll. Three people at the table. We each grab one piece. Catch the mistake. Instead of correcting the issue we got offered 20% off for the roll we didn't order. They also forgot to make my mother's meal. The chef got very nasty when learning of the mistakes and you know what. Way too many other businesses out there to ever give these guys another dine-in. Ordered a mushroom sandwich, veg egg roll, and fried rice. I would order all again except the egg rolls, the wrapper on them was very chewy not sure why other than that they tasted ok. My mother, aunt and uncle loved the food. My husband enjoyed it, for me it was just ok, but that's more about my tastes than anything about them and my daughter only wanted French fries because she's pickier than me. The owner's daughter or granddaughter was there and she kept coming to our table offering us candy and wanting to interact with us. I don't blame her, she was like 5, kids like people, but at a point she was literally interrupting my family in conversation (my aunt and uncle were in from out of town and my mom doesn't see them a lot) it was weird, like I didn't want to be rude to a little kid but I finally had to be like, "Oh thank you, no more please, go find your family" and then the owner chastised her in front of us rather than taking her in the back or something. It was like we were being treated as if we were friends and not paying customers. THEN it really bothered me that they brought everything out one at a time as if one person was cooking one dish at a time, very weird, so my husband had a salad with fake chicken and then we were just waiting and so we told him to just eat, and then he was done by the time the last thing came out. So my daughter and I decided to try a new restaurant called VeggiEAT xpress tonight. We have been eating Vegetarian for a month or so now and have tried a few restaurants around town. Well, I walked in and the lady immediately asked if it was to go because I had a bag of hummus that I had gotten from the farmers market and I couldn't leave it in the car. I was like no we are going to eat here. We just sat at a table and looked over the menu for about 10 minutes. Then she came to ask if we were ready and as asked if they had a kids menu because I wasn't sure if my three-year-old was going to eat anything off the adult menu. Well, they did. Not sure why she didn't give it to me at the beginning. So she goes and comes back a few minutes later and I had a few questions because it was our first time in. I wanted to see what was recommended and if they could make some stuff less spicy. The spicy question was a no! She said they use pepper, curry and some other spice in some of the dishes and can't put less in them when making it. Not sure why. So she said the curry was not too spicy but when it came out it was really spicy and I could barely eat it. I usually love curry. My daughter ended up getting the veggie fried rice and I ended up sharing with her and was gonna take mine home because I started to get a stomachache for some reason. Well, my daughter wanted dessert so I ordered the carrot cake and chocolate cake. The server then tells me would you like to box up your stuff while you wait for your dessert? I said sure. Then she proceeds to tell me they ran out of to go containers so I would have to pay .35 for a small .50 for a medium and .75 for a large. I was like what?! I was so lost. She said they only had plastic and I have to pay for those... I was like it's not my fault you ran out of whatever you were gonna give me so I'm not going to pay for a bunch of containers to take the food home that I'm paying for so please go get a manager. Well, she went back to supposedly speak to one and comes back to tell me they want us to bring our own containers from home and that's why they are gonna charge. I was like this is my first time here. How would I know that?! I'm really getting annoyed now. It's not about the money at all. It's the point that I'm buying my food and I wanna take what's leftover home. I mean it's getting ridiculous at this point. So I told her to call the manager over and I wanna speak to them. Well, she calls them on the phone and then comes back to tell me they have a supervisor there that doesn't speak English which was BS and the manager is not there but may be able to come. I said to cancel my dessert and charge me for what we've eaten because we are done. I actually made friends with another customer that was sitting by us and she couldn't believe what was happening either. I'm really shocked that they are still in business treating people like that. We've owned restaurants most of my life growing up and that is no way to treat a customer. Oh, and the food was not very good at all. I just ordered my usual, the buffalo wings and potstickers. I haven't had them in a while, maybe 3 or 4 months, and they tasted dramatically different than usual. The wings were sweet, almost like a barbecue flavor, which I'm not a fan of, the buffalo sauce was way sweeter than before and didn't taste like buffalo sauce at all. The potstickers tasted very different as well and when you would take a bite, liquid would come pouring out, maybe because there were too many mushrooms in it. I'm not sure if they've changed their recipes or if whoever was cooking that day decided to cook them that way but I'm disappointed because this was my go to vegan spot. read more

I was havin one of those blah days you just can't put your finger on the reason why, but, you just don't feel great on the inside or the outside and you don't really wanna go anywhere or do anything. Then a friend suggested soup and order it from VeggiEATs and ya know not to sound cooky but soup sometimes cures all ones ills. So I go to the postmates app, look at all their offerings and there are a ton of vegan soups each of them sound terrific and I get the wonton soup. Then I thought hmm egg rolls. I book it over there and arrived a little early, but go in at 2 min from the time the app says it will be ready and they say a few more. Ok no big deal, then the app says it's ready, I ask and nice lady says a few more min. And ya know so what but I was irritable and wanted a soup I didn't have to make and go home, so I was irritable. A few min later I was on my way home When I opened the bags the soup was obvious but in the bag was two containers, for 4 egg rolls?? I open the boxes and there are the egg rolls and an order of potstickers. Did they give me an order of potstickers cuz I had to wait a little bit? If they did, what a spectacular example of customer service and down right giving a crap. If they didn't, then guys I'll be happy to pay for them cuz they were terrific. The food was really good the soup hit the spot and its wontons were super tasty and the noodles which came in a separate container, were perfect. The egg rolls were a little chewy but really good and the sauce was just the right amount of sweet and spicy. The potstickers were the best of the lot and the sauce had a salty spicy chili bite that I looked forward to dunking both the egg rolls and potstickers in. All in all the food was great and well proportioned and the 3 items could have easily been for 2 yet I pigged out on all of it. Only if the food would be just that good would I ever do that. On top of that they may or may not have given me a side order as a make up gesture, which is a gesture I have rarely experienced in any aspect of my life let alone a restaurant, is the icing on the cake. I've been here twice and had 2 totally different experiences. The first time I came with my vegan sister and we had the best experience! The restaurant is cute, our service was fast and friendly and the food was delicious! I had the half beef sandwich, buffalo wings & coconut milk Thai tea with boba. The buffalo wings had a little bit of a weird texture, but were SO tasty. The beef sandwich was honestly one of the best sandwiches I've had - I liked the vegan meat better than most real meat I've had. My sister had the lasagna sushi and that was also delicious! Everything was reasonably priced as well. Couldn't wait to give it 5 stars and had a new "spot"! The next time I was excited to go, I took the sandwich and tea to go. I was told about 10 minutes, but 20 minutes later it was done. By then, they hadn't made my tea, so I had to wait again. 5 more minutes went by and I had been watching my tea just sitting there and had to finally ask for it after a 25+ minute to-go order for a half sandwich and tea. No apology and they were just lagging. It was not anywhere close to the same service and it wasn't busy. I ate my sandwich and it was soggy like it was sitting there for quite a while! After seeing how they forgot about my tea that they forgot about to begin with, I feel like my food was just sitting there for a while before someone brought it out. Very disappointed. We were on our way to Zion (from LA) and didn't want to stop to eat in Vegas given the spike in Covid numbers there. So, I started searching Henderson when we were at state-line. The hubby is vegan, so that of course went into the filter. There were like, three good contenders in Henderson, but one was closed and the other one had a review that turned me off (someone who said he LIKED the fact that the restaurant didn't make him wear a mask even when he wasn't sitting and eating, LMAO!!! and WTH ;-D). So, VeggiEat was the winner. I'm glad we found this spot! We were traveling with another family, who are big meat eaters. Even they were super impressed with the grub (the dad of the other family said it was the best "philly cheesesteak" he'd ever had!!). I had the mushroom lover roll (which was SO GOOD and different from any kind of sushi roll I've ever had) and my kid, who has always been a big fan of "regular" CA rolls, cleaned her plate of the vegan version. I ordered the vegan ribs with black bean sauce. It didn't come close to tasting like spareribs. I told the waitress that I didn't want it to be smothered with the sauce. And, it was and was very oily. My friend had the udon noodles with mushrooms. She, too, was disappointed. There wasn't enough vegetables and mushrooms. Also, the wide noodles overpowered the dish. Visiting the Henderson area and looking for vegan options and this entire menu was just that. Extremely disappointed. Service & food quality has gone way downhill. Found one short black hair in spicy lemongrass soup & showed server. We decided to continue on but when we found a second gray hair we couldn't finish at that point. The worst part is that the manager would not acknowledge that it was a hair or apologize at all. She said it was from celery. I asked if the server had showed her the first hair & she said no. She gave us 10% discount (3$ off) Also the server sat down to eat & watch something on her phone without ever giving us any indication that she was done working. I had to go to the front to pay our bill. We will never be back & I guarantee that I will never recommend this place to anyone again. Another waitress came to serve us our food and apologized and told us that the person making the Spring Rolls didn't complete the order and had left for the day. What?!? At this point, I was a bit irritated but the food was delicious. So we decided to try again a few days later. We went on a Friday night and it wasn't extremely busy in the restuarant but there were more customers than our Monday night dinner. I also noticed that they get a lot of phone and to-go orders. So we ordered the Vegan Chow Fun noodles, Vegan Beef Yakitori, and the Spring Rolls. The Vegan Chow Fun Noodles came first. I thought it was weird since it was an entree and were looking forward to the Spring Rolls first. But it was fine and we thought it was delicious. Then, the Vegan Beef Yakitori came on time. Then, we started to notice our Spring Rolls never arrived and it felt like 15 minutes had already gone by since our last food was served. I asked our waitress if our Spring Rolls were going to be ready soon and she told us that they're coming out soon and didn't forget about it. 6 minutes later our Spring Rolls came (my friend dared me to time it). After we were done, we decided to ask for desert menu. That took another 10 minutes to get. Overall the food is delicious for sure! I come here with my non-veggie boyfriend who grew up eating authentic Vietnamese food & he loves this place almost more than me! I absolutely love their sushi rolls, can definitely recommend the General Tsao & Sesame Crunchy rolls. But service is very off here unless they're slow. I came in and it was on the busier side, took awhile for them to get my water and take my order but no big deal, just ordered two rolls. The first roll took about 15 minutes to come out but the second one took 40 minutes to get to me... server didn't come over at all to check in and I was about to ask for the check to leave when finally the food came out. I'm sure they have to be understaffed in the kitchen and can't handle a busy service and also their to-go and online orders so I feel for them but it was a bummer. I also was made aware through Instagram that they were doing an all you can eat sushi deal (my vegan dream! Lol) and drove across town just for that but was told you have to buy a ticket ahead of time/make a reservation for it. It was full bodied flavor, mushroom lovers you will not be disappointed. I also had the general Tsao shrimp roll, which was its own type of special. Got the beef banh mi. For a second I thought I was eating real meat. The texture, look, and taste is all very similar. It's just like very tender meat. The bread on the banh mi isn't like the ones you get at pho places, it's like a mix between the bread you get at pho places and the bread you get at sub sandwich places. I prefer the bread you get at pho places but it really depends person to person. Sometime bread at pho places can get a bit too hard and this bread doesn't have that problem. The taste of the sandwich itself tastes just like a normal banh mi, so great for scratching that itch if you don't eat meat. It isn't the best banh mi you can get in lv but the best non-meat one you can get. What really made me give the 5 stars was the service. Got it to-go and they gave a sample of their blended watermelon and a pack of spicy wasabis. Best waiting experience I've ever had. I'm not vegan, but I get sick of eating meat time to time, so I'll definitely come back when that happens. read more

I'm trying to drop a few pounds and eat healthier. I tried them out yesterday and left a 50 cent tip on the receipt. Well, today I found out that I was charged for a $5.00 tip. Someone added an extra zero to increase their tip! The food was good but I cannot possibly give more than one star when someone helped themselves into my pocketbook. Update: The manager apologized and gave me back my money.
