This place was amazing! The food & service was top-notch! The owner lady even gave us 50% off one of our dishes, even tho we forgot the coupon...awesome! They do have a very good buffet for a great price, with lots of dishes to choose from plus it includes Naan! We ordered a la carte, because we wanted leftovers & boy, did we get leftovers...enough for 3 more meals! I highly recommend this place, you will not be disappointed! We will be back & bring family.

Came to Nutmeg Indian Eatery for their lunch special, which is $15.99 per person from 11 am to 3 pm. It's a great price and the service was really good. The food was very good too. Our favorites were the butter chicken and the garlic naan. They also offer a punch card, so your sixth buffet is free!

I really went out of the way to, because this indian restaurant was a recommendation. First impressions, the buffet offerings were tiny and limited. The only dish that was noteworthy was the butter chicken. The chicken curry was eh, all the dishes were too salty for me. All restaurants make their dishes differently, the raita which I'm used to has some carrots in it which this place did not. The meatballs resembled meatballs that you would find at ikea. There were no lamb or goat dishes and goat is what I want in an Indian buffet.

Please see my original review! Excellent Restaurant Lovely Service and Delicious Food ! Please see my photographs from my first dinner at Nutmeg Indian Eatery !

I came in for the lunch buffet. I like how the buffet menu changes day to day with different selections to try! Great service, clean kitchen, great food. Nice owner. Encouraging you to try it too! Even has soup!

We had the lunch buffet and everything was absolutely delicious! The vegetable curry was surprisingly good and the butter chicken was the best we have had! Both kinds of chutney went SO well with the samosas. Our server was very polite and helpful, even said we could get both garlic naan and buttered naan if we wanted. There was plenty of open seating with spacious booths. We will definitely be returning to get the Goan curry (our absolute FAVORITE dish that most restaurants don't serve).

FOOD WITH BEAUTY! A MUST TRY--FLOWER CHILD!…read more Easter Sunday couldn't think of a better place to go! This place caught my eye a while back, but I've never tried it. It's located in The District at Green Valley Ranch off the 215! You can't miss this adorably stylish building! Entered into this serene garden like place that had me looking everywhere. It was very engaging. You order your food inside the front door entrance where the menu is above at a counter. The lady taking the order was ever so helpful and patient. She recommended some really amazing dishes to try and while you're looking at the menu there, there are homemade muffins and cookies at your fingertips. Your senses start to get flooded with goodness here. Just past the order counter is a gorgeous open kitchen where you see chef's intensely preparing the food. Everything smells amazing here and the plates coming off the food line look so good. OMG. Finally picked out something to eat and went and picked out a table. It's self seating and within minutes, the food is already out to the table served by very charming team members. I was out with my daughter so we both picked something that was preferable to our taste. Her dish, the Mediterranean Chicken was pretty detailed and very colorful. She said the food was outstanding. She had never tried anything with so much variety. I was a little bit more on the safe side and picked a simple salad with turkey and avocado, and some extras. The vinaigrette dressing was so unique and delicious alone. The salad was very fulfilling. The atmosphere was so relaxing in a space with sound where you can have a nice conversation. Loved the vaulted ceilings. Dining room and patio was about half full mid afternoon and everyone looked so happy. As if they were all regulars plotted to be in this scene I was in. By the way, the patio looks so pretty straight out of a catalog. Upon leaving, the same people that greeted us a warm welcome also gave us a grateful goodbye. Very nice people here! Leaving the restaurant took some more pictures of the front entrance parking lot where there was this smoking hot Corvette parked in front. Too good not to capture. So excited to go back here the restaurant overall was so accommodating and friendly. Loved everything about it:)

Half of the lettuce is not fresh at all. I would assume they would cut their lettuce. But it must be bagged. And who made this salad and saw these pieces and figured they were ok? For a $20 I should not have to pick out old pieces. Is there no quality control? I'm at home too, babysitting, so it's not like I'm there and request it to be remade. What a waste of money.

The day finally came, I wanted something healthy and vegan, and Govinda's Café popped into my mind. The gentleman who greeted us was very kind, he directed us into the direction of the buffet, honestly I don't know if they have a lunch menu to order from. While the food was very good, and there was a lot to choose from, I felt that transparency with regard to price per person was not clear. The young man who helped us brought fried spinach and potato dumplings, and some type of round bread. I don't eat a lot of Indian food and I'm not too familiar with the names. It's was certainly a very interesting restaurant with a charming venue for events. I would definitely come back to check out some of their weekend events in the future. The space was clean and simple and I felt as though I could have been visiting an Ashram in India or one of the many yoga retreats centers in the U.S. I would return, but I would definitely clarify pricing and ask for a menu to see if there are any other options.

I would go to this place again and would recommend it for good butter chicken. I want to try the family curry that is on the menu. Love a good curry. The place was clean, the young lady was cleaning when I went in, did a mid-afternoon order and there were two others in the restaurant. It is a small area for dining and they offer a lunch buffet.
