I ordered a vegan bbq pork sandwich and a sweet and sour noodle soup. I was a bit disappointed with the sandwich, it didn't taste like a bbq pork sandwich at all. I do think it was a good bahn mi spicy sandwich, the bread was warm and had a soft crunch to it. The flavors in the sweet and sour noodle soup was pretty good with a hint of spice. I'd say both items were pretty filling. I would give this place another go and try different items off the menu. read more

I have visited this restaurant often with my boyfriend. We decided to take my brother and mom who were visiting from out of town -- who are not vegan. We spoke highly of it. Our waiter seemed off and foggy. Seemed like he was on something. We asked for the wings as an appetizer. We asked him for the regular wings that look like a drumstick. He seemed confused and said "the breaded ones" I replied, "I am not sure, we usually just say the wings" After taking our order, he came back to the table, and had a frozen drumstick in his hand and said "this one?" This to me was not okay and actually embarrassing and unprofessional. Needless to say they were the wrong wings because they were breaded and hard. By the time we received them, we were so bothered and did not feel like ordering the correct wings. I then see this same server blowing his nose by the area where the other two ladies were plating. I did not see him wash his hands and he continued to work.I did not mention this to my family because they would have been grossed out like I was. From someone who went to school for F&B that is not okay. We were finishing up our food and received the check. 8:30 was approaching, but I do not feel it was appropriate for this same employee to start blasting music with profanity and cleaning while patrons were still in the restaurant. We spent over 100$ eating at this restaurant and countless more on our our other visits. Needless to say, my mom and brother were not impressed. And I felt bad for offering the restaurant as a good option for dinner. The one start is because this is one of the few vegan restaurants in our monthly rotation. My 5year old son has celebrated 2 birthdays here. Today we chose to pop in for lunch. WORST SERVICE I HAVE HAD IN YEARS!!! Not sure of the waitress' name working the lunch shift today (Asian,tie-dyed green shirt), but I would never recommend dinning with her on the floor. There was a single table who already had food when we walked in so the wait shouldn't have been long.. WRONG. 4 tables and 2 to-go orders came in after us and received their food before us. Me and my 5 year old son were left hungry watching everyone else eat. My order was 2 cold deserts and a single sushi roll with no modifications. We waited 45mins and I had to ask for my food to go. Even as we left the other guests commented on their concern as they noticed we were not served. Unsure if it was due to negligence or if it was intentional on the waitress' end, but it sure felt like it the moment we walked in. First time trying and probably the last. I ordered the black bean vegan ribs, The flavors were everywhere. One bite I taste a very heavy ginger than another bite has a super sour taste, after mixing it together it still tasted weird, the vegan ribs was very chewy. It was just confusing to eat. I also ordered egg rolls- I tried to like it, but it's a hard pass. Let's just say i didn't even bother finishing my food. Just hard to eat. I was more than happy to find this place which serves the best vegetarian foods. I got here around 4pm on the week day so there wasn't many people but it was getting more busy after that. They have nice & neat decoration which makes the restaurant look fresh & clean besides the partial opened kitchen so I feel more safety to eat the uncooked veggie. They got so many interesting options on the menu & it was hard to make decision. I got the vermicelli noodle like salad with lots of veggie. My food bowl came out delicious! I ate most of it. We have eaten here multiple times and it's usually pretty good. Unfortunately, on this last visit there were multiple flys in our soup that we didn't notice until it had been partially eaten. To be honest, if it was one fly I would have fished it out an carried on, but that was not the case. We showed our server and she offered to make a new one, but for obvious reasons we had lost our appetite. Upon receiving the bill I noticed the $14 soup was still on the bill. When I mentioned it to the server she said she would fix it and left with my debit card. When she returned with the receipt for me to sign she said she took $3 off for the soup. I understand mistakes happen, but eating bugs at a vegan restaurant wasn't on my todo list for the day and I certainly feel I shouldn't have had to pay for it. Once my temp job here in Vegas is complete there will be one thing I will miss so much!! And thats the Spicy Lemon grass rice noodle soup honestly can't get enough. We have repeatedly come back for dinner and this is the go to meal for my husband and I along with the pot stickers. The pot stickers are made fresh I love the dough consistency I'm a fan of mushrooms but my husband really isn't he still decided to give it a try to indulge me obviously and he really enjoys them it has changed his perception on mushrooms. The big bowls of soup come out steaming hot so be cautious and it says spicy but honestly it's a kick of heat that anyone could bare, I'm just so in love with this soup and that it's vegan because it makes me feel so good. So I really dislike leaving bad reviews. But I want to be honest so that businesses can try to improve. I'm a huge fan of vegan food. My hope was that this place had it all. We ordered the egg rolls, caterpillar roll, basel stir fry and the Singapore noodles. Both the entrees were salty and heavily sauced. The caterpillar roll was my favorite of all. The egg rolls had a flower aroma that I did not prefer. Being that we were the only table, I was surprised with the service. It took awhile for the waiter to notice us to place our order and at the end of our meal I had to get our waitress attention for the bill. The table was very sticky. I'm not vegan or vegetarian, but damn I probably should be. This place reminded me of the very first time I tried a pho and bahn mi combo in college. It made an old experience new again by introducing my mouth to all the sweet and umami flavors I loved from my first experience, but this time being entirely meat free. My eyes could not correlate what my mouth was feeling. I ordered the bbq pork sandwich and the combo pho and every bite offered something unique and immensely satisfying. The bowl of pho was also astronomically large too. We needed two to-go containers to just pack one bowl. My girlfriend got the grilled tofu sandwich (she's vegan) and it was just as great. So, go to the 99 Ranch location if you want to try it. The service here was rude, and pretty incompetent (we ordered two entrees, to go, and after 30 minutes of waiting for Singapore noodles and curry, we were asked if we wanted one or two sets of silverware, for TWO PEOPLE with TWO ENTREES). First of all, there's nothing "Xpress" about anything here. It's a full on sit down restaurant, very unlike the food court location on Maryland Pkwy, where I have eaten a couple of times and had good experiences. We arrived expecting a second location similar to the first, mostly take out focused. Oops, wrong, made an ass of me and you by assuming. The name is Xpress, so that's misleading, and with a smaller menu thats all like regular take-out type food, we figured it would be a quick to-go type situation. Our order was taken by a very irritated woman, I guess she hates working there and hearing what food you want is too much, she shouted at us "NO RICE!?" because my girlfriend had just asked for a chicken curry, and hadn't asked for rice yet (who charges for rice with curry??). There were THREE whole tables of folks eating, one got their order while we're waiting, one was eating, the third got their check. 5:30-6:00pm on a Saturday, the only other dinners we saw were two more pick-up orders, and one poor guy was still waiting when we left. It's noodles and bahn mi and curry, it should not take long. As to the food "quality", we received bland Singapore noodles with about 4 - 5 ratty little tofu pieces, and the worst curry I have eaten in a long time. The watery, palm oil filled mess was afloat with awkward and haphazardly sized hunks of what I estimate to be a big roll of tofurkey like delis use for veggie turkey sandwiches. Aside from that odd quarters of tomato here and there bobbed along a few incredibly uniform green beans (like frozen bag of beans uniform). TLDR; pass. Veggie meats are subpar, tofurkey quality. There are better places in town for the same price without a 30 minute wait or rude service. The cashier/hostess was chatting with some business partner at the hostess stand the whole time we waited. Then the "sushi chef" came out to also have an extended, very audible conversation with this woman about how ignorant diners don't want to try his sushi because they dislike fish. "It's not fish, duh!" Never again. I will check out the 99 Ranch spot again, maaaybe, but yeah save yourself the trouble here. It may be good if you've never had good vegan food, or good service, ever. This was the first time food and service have been so disappointing that I've felt compelled to write a negative review. A review at all, actually. For fairness I'll leave a positive review for the other location. read more

My wife wanted to eat here. Food was good for what it is and that is coming from a meat eater. I had pho and The broth was surprisingly good. But all the fakey meat wasn't fooling me. If somebody wanted to eat here I wouldn't mind tagging along. But i'd much rather just go to a regular pho place. Anyways prices are higher but serving sizes more than make up for it. I think a bowl of pho was like $12. We had shrimp spring rolls but nothing in it tasted like shrimp. It's good but probably not worth whatever they charge for it. Also I remember a pretty distinct sweet acidic after taste. Maybe apple cider vinegar? I thought service was above average that day so that was cool. I also left the place feeling full so that was a plus as well. For vegans I'd definitely recommend. For meat eaters like myself it's okay. If you want to play it safe try the pho. And don't forget to add Sriracha. All in all it's not something I'd personally drive out of my way for but I wouldn't mind eating here again if somebody else wanted to. read more

She crossed and leaned over his food while she gave the other table the meal. She called herself the manager. Girl you have to learn a lot. And as a manager you should wear a clean apron.
