Homemade vegan foods... my weakness. BLACK owned business as well! Great job black king. I ordered 4 donuts I'm ashamed lol. One was something with pineapple the other was banana with other things. I'm currently drinking a delicious Pineapple Ginger Lime homemade detox drink from him.

I'm honestly really confused as to why there are so many good reviews. No hate at all, I really wish I would have loved this place but I gotta be honest...these were literally the worst donuts I have ever tried in my entire life. First off, the hours posted on yelp are wrong. This place opens at 2pm not 1pm. On to the actual review, right when I stepped inside I was super confused and thought I was in the wrong store because it definitely did not look like a donut place at all. The guy who worked there seemed really chill and nice though. After walking in a little farther I noticed the small donut display case. I was seriously taken aback because I thought these would be at least semi fresh donuts maybe? I arrived around 4 ish. ALL of the donuts were wrapped in Saran Wrap and definitely would not be described as fresh. I ordered the strawberry banana donut and the strawberry topped cinnamon bun roll. The cinnamon roll was a solid zero out of five and the donut was a one. They were both extremely soggy and worse than bland. I was just utterly disappointed in how bad they tasted. Especially with all these raving reviews?! It makes me wonder if any of these people actually tried any other vegan donut besides this place, because seriously...they are missing out. Oh yea and another reason why I'm giving 1 star is because not only did I hate these donuts but those two donuts together were $11 which means one of them was around $6 or something soooooo yea no. That is WAY too overpriced for any donut, especially one of that quality.

Believe the hype - this place is a dream. In the historic west end of Atlanta, it's off the main road in an area maybe you might not expect would house some amazing vegan gluten-free doughnuts, but they are there! There is street parking on the same side of the street as this hidden gem. So, as you can read, I echo the reviews of others. Some things to know in advance: 1) The proprietor is friendly and genuine, but it does appear to be a 1-person show! 2) The doughnuts are out when they are out, as are the cinnamon rolls. The choice is what is available - one full baking sheet full of doughnuts, and one of cinnamon rolls. 3) The doughnuts are made without gluten or dairy, no eggs and no regular sugar (uses coconut sugar). They are yeast-raised. 4) There is freshly-pressed juice available, already bottled for your consumption. 5) Buy at least 2 doughnuts, if you like doughnuts... because you will eat it in a heartbeat. It's a better deal to buy 2 doughnuts (2 for 5, 1 for 3). 6) The cinnamon rolls are denser but also delicious - their price point is higher, but, for this type of sweet treat in a gluten-free and vegan version, it's worth the price of 2-3 doughnuts. 7) Cinnamon and caramel and chocolate- say yes to these options. Overall, I have no idea how these doughnuts are so amazing for the texture and flavor with the ingredients used. It's a dream. So light and fluffy, sweet but not sickly so, fried, but not greasy. Nice chewy texture of kneaded dough - unlike cake doughnuts. The homemade goodness is evident, but it is at a retail level, as well. It's a happy blend for the product. I am so glad it is not closer to my home, because this would be a constant battle to fight: how many doughnuts to eat each week when trying to maintain a non-obese existence fueled by doughnuts... though the latter could be just fine with these amazing doughnuts! I'd like more, now....

It's always great vibes when we come to visit vegan dream for our donut fix. This spot is in a very unassuming part of the west end. And the owner brings fresh donuts daily from his bike. Once you walk in you know you're in a different type of spot. They typically have three different flavors for the day all of which are made with natural ingredients. We highly recommend that you check out the spot if you visit Atlanta and have a sweet tooth.

Definitely a safe choice for all of our fellow Vegans..lots of choices from meals, to sides, desserts and drinks with the normal healthy food price point despite the location.. But hey, happy to support my young black entrepreneurs..Good flavors all around ..Had the Pea protein burger and wifey had the shrimp po boy(#1seller)..shrimp Po Boy Is on point, just needs 2 or 3 more skrimps to at least make one feel like they are getting thier moneys worth...Dill fries and sweet POTATO fries and normal, nothing out of the ordinary... Wild cherry Cheesecake was good!. Steady stream of customers means repeat business and a few new patrons including us .. Definitely worth trying..Come on Down and check it out..ITS OFFICIAL and worth the shot

First timer here. I got two flavors orange lemon cranberry and pear something. Overall the flavor combinations were pretty good. The doughnuts have the shape of a non vegan doughnut but not the consistency. I feel like mine were a bit oily and they weren't as soft and fluffy as they could be compared to other vegan places I've gone. I paid $5 for two doughnuts and the guy was really nice answering any questions I had. I love that they're vegan, i love that they're black owned and i love the location. I would return when they first open to get the freshest doughnuts. The parking is weird. The actual shop is on the side of the building with Bakaris and Afrocentric, you can park there and walk around of park on the side street.

Totally love the doughnuts here! Pretty pricy but it's definitely worth it. I come all the way from Georgia just to buy these! You can save them and they don't loose their texture like other doughnuts.

Cinnamon dusted banana donut. Deeeelicious. I can't believe it's sugar free.
    Kim P.

First thing to know: They sell out VERY fast. After yearning for these for months, I swung by just 30 minutes after opening, and all but one flavor was sold out. Only banana pistachio was left, which isn't what flavor I'd usually go for...but I had no choice. The overall flavor was just banana, no pistachio. And the flavor was subtle. The doughnut texture was half donut half cake. It was definitely delicious, but I wouldn't call it a true doughnut. I can't place what was "different" about it. If you go into it with no expectations, you'll very much enjoy these doughnuts. But if you have a high expectation of an overly sweet, fried doughnut, you'll be disappointed. The setup of the place was odd. It was just a young girl at a table in what looked like a non-related café. She said the "chef" would maybe return with more doughnuts, but maybe not. Overall, I got an inconsistent vibe from them. I wish it was more predictable, especially since I'm travelling over 30 minutes just to get to them. I also don't like their vague advertising - when I asked the girl if it's zero sugar or zero REFINED sugar, she said absolutely no sugar at all. But now I read on these reviews that they use coconut sugar. Inconsistent. Vague.

Atlanta is so blessed to have a restaurant like this in its ranks now. If I could give more than 5…read morestars on this app, I'd be lighting it up! I went on a holiday, which was super busy, but even so, service was prompt and attentive. I ordered a pasaflora to drink, which had a beautiful flower in it, queso blanco with chips, al pastor mushroom tacos, chochoyotes, and flan for dessert. Every single dish was inspired, layered with flavor, creative, and truly unique. The presentation was also lovely and each bite felt thoughtful and well-executed. I would order everything a million times over! One thing that especially stood out was the flan's texture, which was silky, delicate, and perfectly balanced. I was also pleasantly surprised to see fried green tomatoes on the menu. It felt like such a special nod to the restaurant's Southern location, blending regional influence in a really cool way. The owner was super nice, which made the experience even better. The decor is gorgeous and so inviting, with intimate, cozy lighting. The whole space feels clean, artistic, and thoughtfully designed. This is an amazing date-night spot that I truly hope sticks around for a long, loooong time. Everything about the atmosphere and experience makes it perfect for a special evening out. I'm already planning to go back and explore more of the menu, but based on my first visit alone, I might even dare to say this is the best vegan restaurant in Atlanta. The jury's still out, but I'm more than happy to keep doing the research to confirm!! lol Last thing I'll say is that I was so grateful not to have to wade through a bunch of non-vegan menu options to figure I it what I could actually order. I also don't have to wonder if my food was being cooked next to a slab of dead animal, which is not the case most places I go. So, thank you for being ALL vegan. The food is so good that there is no chance a non-vegan will feel they've missed out on meat anyway. Logistical stuff: I saw a little bit of street parking, but not a ton. Parking in the deck is definitely the easiest option. You could theoretically bike/skate the Beltline and just walk a couple of blocks to get there. The space is on the smaller side, so I'd recommend making a reservation to be safe if you're visiting on a Friday/Saturday night.

Personally, the menu is fairly limited in scope with the same ingredients presented in different dishes. Not very healthy either with plenty of fried options. I got the South of the Border wrap. The full size is enough for two people. It is stuffed with kale (I get the spicy one and it has a nice kick to it), avocado, black bean hummus, and couscous. I highly recommend! I usually order ahead of time and come to pick it up because service is slow. Online, it will say your order is ready in 10-15 minutes, but that is not true. Wait at least 30-45 minutes to pick it up. I have been here many times, and the people that work here are absolutely incredible, but they are slammed with a lot of orders so it takes a while to get prepared.

There were about four customers in line when I arrived but it moved as slow as molasses. I recommend ordering online if you don't have extra time to wait. Also know what you want when you arrive, it helps move the line a little quicker. This is a raw vegan restaurant that is known for their kale mix. You have your choice of wraps, spicy kale, mild kale or you can do a 50/50 blend. The spicy has heat which i love but I'm glad I did the 50/50, it was perfect. There is a free parking lot a few steps away from the business and it's large so you shouldn't have a problem finding parking. I had the south of the border with a chili wrap and all ingredients. I had the half size which was extremely large and enough for two people to share or enough for two days. It's such a beautiful wrap but personally not my favorite. All the ingredients were very fresh but it was something that I just didn't enjoy about it. Maybe it was the Moroccan couscous flavor. I'm willing to try another wrap and will probably go with the OG or Dat Ish. Prices were okay for the serving size you receive. There are tables outside. And the employees were all pleasant.

We got: - Chicken Satay: The chicken itself was so believable, stringy and smoky! And crunchy (though I'm used to satay meat being grilled). The sauce was tasty too- peanut-y, sweet, hint of curry. However, for $8, I'd expect at least 4 skewers. - Shrimp Chow Kway Teow: CKT is one of my favorite noodle dishes ever, and Mamak's version certainly did it justice. The wok hei was so present, the noodles perfectly chewy, and the veggies (snow pea, onion, carrot, bean sprouts) well-cooked. The shrimp was insane, so bouncy and real-feeling. - Olive Fried Rice: Can't say I've ever had olive leaves before, this dish was delightful! Lots of great toppings (tofu, carrot, green bean, mushroom) that gave some textural diversity. - Black Pepper Beef: The black pepper essence was clearly distinguishable, but the sauce was too sweet for me. The beef was truly reminiscent of the actual thing. Lots of tasty veggies again (cauliflower, celery, jicama, carrot, bell pepper). Overall, taste-wise, all of the dishes were great; however, we did not feel portion sizes matched prices. Service could also stand to improve, with regards to attentiveness. To note, the restaurant is self-seating (I wish there was something that said this at the entrance). You can pay the bill via QR code, but there's a platform fee (I wonder if you could avoid that if you pay physically). Lots of parking available. 9/10 would recommend!
