Upon arrival of technician, they discovered where the rats were coming from, but said he wont patch up the holes. Technician said we would have to hire another company for patchwork. So now we have to hire another company to patch the holes 2) a complete survey was not done. Technician didnt even go up stairs or in the attic. 3) the texts received from the company was offering a $130 off coupon if we hired them. Obviously some communication issues with the person texting and whom I called, because I already hired them. 4) so paid $500 for laying down a few traps. Not worth it. I've been a customer of Simple Pest Control for nearly two years. When I first started using the…read morecompany, the owner Keith was professional, informative, and respectful. Unfortunately, that changed over time. This spring, I was informed my pricing was increasing because he was restructuring his pricing as he worked to grow his business. On the subsequent visit he informed me he was again changing his pricing structure and increasing prices. As a loyal customer, it felt like existing customers were simply paying more to help finance that growth rather than being valued for their continued business. Towards the end of May, I paid to have my home treated for ants. Initially, I only saw an occasional ant afterward, but within a few weeks, I was finding groups of ants in multiple rooms throughout my home. When I contacted Keith, I expected the issue to be addressed. Instead, I was told that Simple Pest Control does not guarantee its work and that I would need to pay for another treatment. He also stated that his product takes one to two months to become effective and that pest control companies don't offer guarantees for ant treatments because ants are so pervasive during the summer. This directly contradicted what I had been told during previous visits. In the past, Keith assured me that if the treatment didn't resolve the issue within a couple of weeks, he would return and re-treat the affected areas at no additional cost. After I pointed this out, he eventually agreed to perform a one-time "courtesy" re-treatment. The customer service during this "courtesy" visit was even more disappointing. We had agreed on a 2:30-3:00 PM appointment window. At 1:06 PM, I received a text stating he was running early and would arrive in 20 minutes. He never asked whether I was home or available. I happened to be grocery shopping and had to abandon my cart with the store manager and rush home. As he was finishing the treatment, I explained that if he was going to arrive more than an hour early, he should at least confirm that his customer was home before showing up. His response was, "I don't need to ask my clients anything. I'm doing you a courtesy. I'm not going to plan my day around you. I'm not even getting paid for this, and I'm too busy to stop and ask you for permission." I'm not quite sure how he plans to treat the inside of a home if the homeowner is not home... At that point, I asked him to leave my home. After this experience, I contacted several other pest control companies to compare their policies. Every company I spoke with stated they stand behind their work and would re-treat the same pest issue if it returned shortly after service without charging the customer again. They also advised that their treatments begin working immediately rather than taking one to two months. I ultimately chose Pest Fighters because they offer a service guarantee, reasonable pricing, effective treatments, and products that are safe for household pets. My experience left me with the impression that Simple Pest Control is focused more on growing its business and raising prices than on taking care of the customers who helped build it. Between repeated price increases, the lack of any service guarantee, inconsistent explanations about follow-up treatments, and disrespectful customer service, I can no longer recommend this company.

We had a dead rodent that was stinking up our home and multiple events and bdays planned for the next couple of days. Most companies were charging an arm and a leg for a one-time service or they required us to be on a monthly subscription with them. Eastside Exterminators were able to not only do a one-time rodent removal but also schedule a follow up inspection without us being on a subscription AND they were able to do it TODAY AND they did it all at a fraction of the cost that everyone else was quoting us. We moved into a new house and we have ants. And potentially rats. But thank god for Eastside…read moreexterminators. Mike Coombes and Jacob Calvo have helped us on both fronts. Mike came over, assessed the situation with the ants (odorous house ants), and addressed them right away. Are they completely gone? No. Unfortunately we live at the bottom of a hill in an older home, and the ants have been here longer and outnumber us by a lot. What Mike has done though is make the inside of our home less and less appealing. He's also been incredibly responsive to our panicked messages about any increased ant activity, and after he's been here, the ants make themselves scarce. Jacob mapped out our entire house, identified potential entry points, and took detailed photos of what was happening in the crawlspace (maybe in too much detail, hahaha) and gave us a thorough review of options for next steps for addressing the four legged house guests we didn't want to continue supporting. And as far as I know we don't have rats anymore, but they've also installed monitoring so if the rats do make their way back into the crawlspace, I'm confident they'll take care of it immediately. As a family with two young kids and no relatives in the vaccinity, Eastside Exterminators have been instrumental in taking that cognitive load off our hands.

She even explained why the visit needed to take place when it was not raining since these wretched beasts (my words) were not out and about in such weather. Thank you! Here are just a few of the reasons I say that: * He was respectful of me and my home. * He didn't freak out over our very large puppy, nor did he do anything to make that encounter worse by trying to engage with her. YAY! * Next, he walked the entire property, again listening to my concerns. * After that, he explained everything he was suggesting he do, clearly and specifically. Very poor company not in operation anymore, it now is Fikes. I booked services through Sound Pest…read more Spoke to the GM through yelp who described the service. Charged me $300+ for Flea control. The person who showed up was not with sound pest but was with Fikes. He spent all of 5 mins walking through my house and sprayed an aerosol can that costs I believe $29.99. He did not spray in under or around anything. This was also not the description of service that was provided to me through yelp. I called to complain immediately after. I have also called to talk to a Manager multiple times. They always state they will call me back and never do. It might have been a great company before it was sold but do not let the historical positive reviews fool you this is not under the same management as before. Go somewhere else for service.
