I've been coming for over 4 years now - hard to believe I haven't reviewed this place so this is long overdue. The level of service is amazing. I still remember my first visit - I was really determined to quit smoking but unhappy with the mod I bought online. The staff checked my mod which we deemed was defective. I found another one here, affordable, & juices I loved. Needless to say, I've not once picked up the stinky sticks since. I moved away for a few years & upon coming back to Chicago, I'm happy to be back. Same great service, selection, & prices. Recently, I stopped in on Sunday, desperate. The tank on my mod was leaking all over the place & I knew a replacement was due. Joseph recommended me the perfect tank, coils to go with, & of course, I had to get another bottle of some juice. (Also recommended but a new favorite!) if you're thinking about dropping cigarettes or already enjoy vaping, pay this place a visit. I'm new to Chicago so needed a new place to rely on I couldn't have been happier with my quick decision to visit this shop. The man working today (I wish I would've grabbed his name) was one of the most friendly, helpful and knowledgeable store associates I've ever interacted with. Coming from a history of marketing, sales and retail management, I appreciated this to no end. Vape312 operates a clean, comforting and "current" store design & has a wide variety of products and solutions for everyone, and I back the opinion that even those who are beginners could walk in and confidently walk out with a solution specifically tailored to them (thanks to the awesome staff). This little Shop is amazing! They have everything! I've noticed recently that the smoke shops around Lakeview Boys town have all but stopped selling the the Flavored Vapes. And I was so bummed, thought maybe I'd have to just stop vaping altogether. But luckily my girlfriend got tired of my crankiness and discovered this place! This place is really great. Stopped by tonight wanting more juice and they guys there were more than helpful. They asked what kind of flavors I liked and then proceeded to show me a bunch of new ones that I might like. They shop is really clean and modern...it looks really cool. The only issues I had were- most of the batteries they had for testing were dead which made trying the flavors kind of hard- just had to ask for new battery all the time. Also, none of the flavors I wanted came in 18mg nicotine, which wasn't the end of the world because I should be going down on nicotine anyways. I will definitely be back to buy more stuff. Best vape store I've been in. I was super skeptical at first, I already did the mod and rba thing, and I liked the places I ordered my juice from online. I decided to give it a go, and now I go there a couple times a month. The folks there are all young, easy to speak to, and insanely knowledgeable about the whole scope of vaping issues. They seem to serve the whole range of vapers, except they don't sell disposables (which are a total waste of money). They know a ton, and yet none of them act like they think that makes them cooler than you. They'll give you juice flavor recommendations based on juices or just flavors that you like, if you use an RBA they'll build you coils for nothing, and I've learned two new coils from them. I don't want to call them nerds, as they're all cool, but in the best way possible it's a store run by a bunch of e-cig nerds who want everyone to get the same joy they get from e-cigs. The only reason I'm giving this place 5 stars is because there isn't an option for 10. As soon as I walked in I was greeted by not only the employee but the other customers. The vibe was totally friendly and the guy who helped me (I wanna say his name was Joe but I'm horrible with names so it could have been Sven or Kathy, J/K) was incredibly knowledgeable about all the products, and very honest too. My first experience wasn't 5 star visit but subsequent visits have been great. The staff have a wide knowledge of all vape equipment, even models they don't carry in their product assortment. They are quick to recommend flavors of liquid that you might like, I found two of my favorite flavors from their recommendations. The place is clean and always has a nice aroma in the air when you walk in, the nice thing when you walk in there is that it isn't filled to the gills with smoke, many other vape stores are almost overwhelming when you walk in with either to much smoke or way to many scents. Did a search for e-juice expecting to find a bunch of smoke shops but was surprised to see a shop dedicated to vaping exclusively. When I stopped by, was even more surprised by how nice the place looked. Working hard behind the counter was Alan who welcomed me and right away struck up a conversation. This helped calm my nerves because I'm new to the vaping scene and was expecting someone to give me the history of vaping then push some products on me. So a lot of expectations that were not met, but that's good. There's a bar up front with all the ejuice on stock to sample. He gave me a disposable tip to use (awesome) and lent me a battery. First flavor I tried was the Philippine Mango. I thought it was the best flavor in the house till I tried a few others. I worked my way up to a premium line they carried, Five Pawns. Came in looking to pick up one bottle and ended up with 4! And I was more than happy to give them my money. If you're looking for a place to learn about vaporizer scene, visit this place. When I walked into Vape312 not only did I finally find the product, but found a shop where the staff immediately made me feel like I just joined their family. Vape 312 has a warm, chill vibe when you walk through the door. The guys there are not only friendly and outgoing, they have extensive knowledge of all things "Vape" from the hottest mods and attys, to triple twisted 28g vertical single coil builds. I stumbled on them by way of searching for a particular E liquid line. They were the only shop near me that had it. The next time i went there I was looking for a particular mod battery. I called 6 Vape shops. Vape312 was the only place that had it. In summation, I've found my perfect brick & mortar shop, and probably some good friends too. TL:DR version: if you simply want liquid, this place is fine. But they have no concept of professionalism when they make a mistake. We were not only told it was our fault, even though it was theirs, but the worst part is being questioned whether or not we even bought the device here. When the person knows full well we bought it there. She has served us many times and did not want to take ownership for her mistake. Full version: With great regret, this is a bad rating. Every other time I went in, the service was great and I got what I needed. friendly staff and all. But today, we went in to get new liquid. One of the people who was working there decided to 'clean' our vape. We were informed that the vape needed to be cleaned (even though we did not request this and simply wanted to get more liquid, but who would think that our device would be broken just by saying yes to the clean?), but when they cleaned it they stuck a cotton swab down the atomizer and accidentally got oil down to a part of the vape that made the screen no longer work. We called when we got back (when we realized the screen wasn't working) and we were told to come in, thinking we would be taken care of. We made the drive back, and within 5 minutes we were told that there's nothing they can do. I have never really gone somewhere where we bring something in that works, walk out and it doesn't work, and then get told that there's nothing they can do. It was pretty obvious that they just wanted to blame us for this, even though logically that makes no sense. We were told that "we've never seen this before" where the device works, but screen doesn't. But at the same time, we were told it was our fault for not cleaning the device perfectly. If this was a user error, surely they would have seen this before. It was clear that the issue was when the person working at Vape 312, took a cotton swab and must have pushed oil down the atomizer, which reached somewhere in the device that made the screen no longer work. After basically being blamed for this (again, device worked fined before we walked in and did not work after), it was pretty insulting to hear the owner tell us "oh well if you want to buy another, we'll give you 35% off." So now I have to buy a new device from the very same people that broke my current device that I just bought not even a month ago? On top of all of this, the most insulting part of this whole ordeal was when the owner told us that they have no proof that we bought the device here. Which is complete hogwash, since the person that broke the device in question, has seen us many many many times before, and actually sold us this very device. I found this experience absurdly unprofessional. We have gone to this shop many times, thinking it was the best thing since sliced bread -- until you actually have an issue that they created. I have never been so disappointed to be quite honest, everyone makes mistakes but when you make a mistake and then try to blame the victim for your own mistake that's pretty messed up. From all of the vape shops that we've been to this week, from Chicago, to Greensboro, NC and Two Rivers, WI... Vape312 is as good as it gets. Everyone was very welcoming, they had a nice assortment of juices to try at their bar. I admired how they stocked their juices on the side wall, very nice interior. Very friendly, and coming from a community oriented culture, it felt at home with me so I appreciated that. My criticisms would be that during the sales transaction/demonstrations, this could go a bit smoother. I would recommend proper training procedures and structures be written up as a way to guide sales employees to execute this without any confusion. I'm sure that will come with time. I would also recommend to mark which boxes for the replacement coils have been pulled from to sell. They come like 5 in a box, and we wanted to just buy the box, even though you can sell just 1 coil. Each box he opened, had one missing. He had to eventually break apart one in order to complete the 5 for us. If you had a better system to aware other sales associates that a box has been pulled to sell individually, then it wouldn't look like a hot mess trying to determine which boxes has all 5. This will help control your inventory as well. We will recommend all of our networks to come to your shop. read more

Stopped by this place when in the neighborhood and was pleasantly surprised. As big as Chicago is, there just aren't many high end vape shops. So I wasn't expecting much. I was quickly proved wrong. Vape 312 has a clean and friendly atmosphere. They have a huge selection of boutique juices. They also have a great selection of high end mods, some clone, mostly legit. Joseph helped me out. I'm an enthusiast so he didn't need to coach me on anything and instead walked me through their juices like a fine sushi chef cutting the best selections of fish. Very attentive and let me try a lot of different juices he'd thought I'd like based on my tastes I described. No pressure and laid back we engaged in some good vape conversation while I sampled. It's nice to get out and about to talk with people about vaping because I spend most of my time researching and buying on the internet. The 3 for $30 is a good deal and with this Yelp coupon I'll definitely be back soon! I highly recommend Vape 312 to beginngers and advanced vapers.
