I found this SAS shoe store just recently and was so happy to find such a great stock on hand…read more I had bought some directly from the factory but that was not the best way to find the right fit as each style may feel different. But you can return or exchange easily. So I was overjoyed to find Village Cobbler. To make a long story short, I went there and it ended up being a really fun experience. Liz was outstandingly helpful without any kind of pressure and answered all my questions, ordered a pair for me to try on with no commitment to buy. It just so happened that the SAS salesman came in and he was just as great as Liz was. I hated to leave they were so nice. A fun experience!! I've had several foot operations and bought many expensive shoes over the years that didn't hold their comfort very long. When I accidentally came across SAS shoes before the internet, years ago, I didn't know where to find them until recently. So now I"m restocking my shoe closet. At 86 yrs. of age, your feet are about your most valuable commodity. Thank you SAS and Liz at Village Cobbler. See you soon.

Victoria's Secret is generally busy most of the time, but they were even more busy because they were running twice as many deals and sales than usual. Sure, they have the standard selection, albeit a little more limited than the other locations. Sure, the staff greets you and is friendly enough to ask if you need help. Sure, the prices are identical to every REI which is no sales and sucky last chance selections. What really matters is beyond this surface level obvious requirements is just how uneducated and unskilled the staff is. I have been to this location 6 times and not once did I leave in a timely manner because of some hassle. They speak without thinking and say some nonsense about how the Co-op works. News flash if you have the membership, the policies are written pretty clearly online so I know when you're speaking nonsense. The new people there don't even bother to ask so done who has been there a while to answer a question they don't know. Whoever is training the personnel needs to get removed and the whole staff needs to be remediated to know what customer service actually is and stop hassling customers and telling them half truths or making it so difficult to return something that you bought 2 weeks ago with receipts and all.... The tax free isn't worth it, go to another REI.

He understood that spending 300 on boots was an investment and genuinely wanted you to be satisfied. Sad say that he's no longer there. When I walked in, I could tell the difference immediately. A certain arrogance and attitude in the air. When I asked where the old manager was, I was told he is no longer employed with Red Wing and she felt the need to stress that they were corporate - whatever that means. She even know the gentleman's name of who I was referring too, which somehow made it worse. I asked if she could look me up in the system to see what I purchased previously, she said the system was down and didn't know when or if it would be up again. Asked if anything was on sale, I received a flat No. At that point I turned around and left. Red Wing boots are expensive but in my opinion worth it, IF, the product AND customer service are top tier. I assume the boots are still good but the customer service at this location are not. Recommend not using this store but understand it's hard to find American made boots.
