Friendly and fun! Wonderfully creative shaved ice treats. Highly recommend, plenty of seating and cute.
This was quite a surprise...We truly enjoyed the dessert. It was different, refreshing and super tasty! "At Vampire Penguin, cool and sweet, Taro ice made for a lovely treat. We smiled, we snacked, we felt the chill-- But once was plenty, truth be still." ...I just don't know if I would go back for it. It was really good, don't get me wrong. Customer service was great. I just think it's a once in a while kinda thing. I LOVE shaved ice and they were open late which was super convenient. It was a clean, comfortable space as well. The dessert was plenty for two people to share. I think a different flavor combo would be nice to try as well. Definitely check it out if you have a sweet tooth and you're in the area. If I could give more stars I would. Not only is the shaved ice yummy and they have so many flavors and not only is the ambiance so fricking cool; they have coloring pages for kids! But the best thing about this place is HANDS UP OR DOWN, the service, and the cookies. The owners had to have come from heaven or something my boyfriend loves chocolate chip cookies and he in turn has turned me into someone who likes to enjoy them, but this place, has turned me into someone WHO LOVES THEM. The wife (I am so sorry I forgot her name) makes THE BEST COOKIES OF MY ENTIRE LIFE. We will drive an hour and a half just to satisfy our chocolate chip cookies craving. This Easter she even made sugar cookies that were so professionally decorated and sooooooo fricking good. She doesn't use shitty ingredients that isn't needed and nothing about those cookies tasted artificial. Yesterday we called to see if we could have around 3 dozen chocolate chip cookies because yes they are that good idc what anyone has to say to the contrary. And sadly the wife wasn't in so I was only expecting my boyfriend to come back with the 9 they had left. But the husband put in the work for us and made us the cookies! So I was surprised with sooooo many! If that isn't excellent service idk wtf is. And to top it off they also had brownie cream pie cookies and when I tell you my taste buds had a party in my mouth. I am NOT over exaggerating. Oh my god it is so good. I'm not even a brownie person really but my good god. These brownie cream pie cookies are like worth participating in the purge for. I don't think I can ever quit sugar now. They deserve all the business in the world. She can take custom orders and catering orders but make sure you definitely call at least a week ahead because I'm not sure everyone will be as lucky as we were yesterday but these cookies need to be eaten EVERYWHERE.

It does get very busy so you have to be patient but it's really good! Especially if it's a hot day. It is a tad bit expensive but it's a good treat
The snow creations here are amazing! I can't believe the flavor they can achieve, and the toppings just add to the delicious flavors. It also really is such a great way to curb that sweet tooth and not feel over stuffed after! Would definitely go back!
This awesome spot is tucked into a quieter part of the Home Depot lot. We really enjoyed chatting with the owner. She was friendly and helped us make our picks. There was ample seating, coloring items for little kids, clean bathroom, and yummy treats. The treat isn't ice cream but it isn't an icee either. Unique find! We learned there are around 30 locations across the US. Definitely worth a stop!
I am in LOVE with this place! The snow fluffy and sweet and unlike anything I have had before. It's a symphony of flavor, low-calorie, and light on the stomach. These light and refreshing desserts come in so many pre-made combos but you can also make your own! The owners were very fun, accommodating and lovely to chat with. The decor, ambiance, music and vibe was fabulous and decorated perfectly to match their adorable theme. We will absolutely be coming back, and fell in love at first sight! You NEED to give this hidden gem a try!!
Very cute store. As soon as we walked in we were warmly greeted and asked if we had been before, it was our first time so they walked us through the menu and told us about their specials. The polar affragato was amazing, glad I didnt have to share bc I cleared the plate lol. Can't wait to come back and try different flavors!
Wow! The "shaved snow" is so tasty with a unique texture. I tried a regular orange snow just to try the shaved snow and I was shocked how much fresh orange flavor came through without syrups. I'm definitely interested in trying some of the larger creations but the regular orange snow was sweet, light and refreshing. The service was fantastic and explained the shaved snow concoctions. There was indoor and outdoor seating. The inside provides enough room for a line but we stopped at an off time, so it was very easy to order and enjoy! I've never tasted anything like it and it was delicious. I highly recommend.

My wife, two kids, and I went full snow-mode and tried: Churro Birthday Cake Mint Chocolate Aba Daba Do! Banana Cream Pie Every. Single. One. Was. STUNNING. Like--can't-put-your-spoon-down, "wait, don't eat mine!" kind of good. The flavors were creative, the texture was that perfect fluffy snow, and the presentation? Instagram-worthy. The owner was super welcoming -- explained all the options with the enthusiasm of someone who clearly loves what they do. It made the whole experience even better (plus the kids were instantly fans). Pro tip: Don't leave without checking out the bathroom. Yes, the bathroom. Just trust me. Honestly, if this place were any closer, my diet would be absolutely doomed. Vampire Penguin, thank you for the sugar rush and snow-day smiles. We'll be back -- probably sooner than we should be.

Never even knew this gourmet shaved ice was a thing. Fluffy shaved ice covered in flavorful deliciousness! As soon as we walked in I thought the place was super cute. It was clean and nicely decorated. The bathroom was so nice and had fun penguin art all over the walls. The owner gave us the new experience explanation about how the ice is infused with different flavors and then shaved to a super fine fluffy snowy dessert. There are different flavored ices that go with their various dessert combinations. I went with a super yummy vanilla shaved snow with butterfinger pieces, whipped cream, cocoa powder, caramel and chocolate sauce. It was actually a light dessert and didn't make me feel oversugared. I really enjoyed this place and hope I can visit again.
I searched high and low for Italian ice and stumbled across Vampire Penguin. My daughter and I had a fun little date here! While it's not Italian ice, it's like shaved ice cream and shaved sorbet. We got strawberry lemonade. It was so good and very light on the tummy. They have a wide variety of flavors, and I can't wait to sink my fangs into more of them. You can customize your order however you like. My daughter couldn't even wait for me to take a picture before digging in and somehow she ate faster than me! The service was great, too. The cashier was incredibly friendly and let me take a picture of another one she had made. We'll definitely be back! read more

I first tried the one in PSL and while I'm not a fan of snow cones, I really did enjoy the creativity of flavors and appreciated the creaminess of these desserts, it was delicious. However I was a bit disappointed as this location seemed watered down leaving a more "ice" taste as opposed to a creamier taste like I had at the PSL location. I tried to let the owner know but she was defined not open to any feedback, insisting that the recipes are made exactly. Yours tasted like ice, theirs did not...clearly something is amiss! I definitely see a difference in the photos of my desserts at both locations...I'm not the expert but perhaps use a touch less snow and you will have perfection! read more

The place is very spacious and the owner is very friendly. I have never tried the style of shaved ice they serve here. It's a cream based shaved ice that just melts in your mouth. The desserts were amazing. My son and I shared 3 different flavors and they were all delicious. It was a fun new dessert to try and was an experience for sure. The staff was very friendly and professional. Inside was decorated so nice and clean. Definitely a new favorite and we will be returning whenever we are back in town. read more

Vampire Penguin in Palm Beach Gardens is a great place to enjoy a different kind of desert. Shaved snow with all kinds of flavors and toppings makes it ideal for kids and grownups alike.
