Busy but the line moves!!! A classic ice cream shop, this downtown west palm beach location will have all the classic flavors and a delicious variety of treats and fun things to buy or try. The line might be out the door, but the staff is good with getting you in and out. Everyone is very kind and ice cream was yum.
Stopped by during a busy Saturday and was serviced quickly! Sloans ice cream is always delicious
Vibrant almost retro sexy ice cream and candy parlor with many flavors to attack my sweet tooth. All pink colored outside patio. Stuffed animals of various sizes starring at you from every angle. Several bins containing small gummie candies to scoop up bearing an aggressive No Sampling sign. Chocolate candied apples and oversized cookies. They even offered yogurt peanut butter doggy treats. The big glass display cases were filled with tubs of ice cream and giant Twirl Pops sitting above. Tried the Cookie Monster ice cream which was oreos and homemade chocolate chip cookies. The clean bathroom was far from basic. A blue glass sink with black and white tiled walls with a gray mosaic mini tiled floor.
After a long day exploring WPB, I headed to Sloan Ice Cream Shop for something refreshing. I opted for an ice cream soda instead of regular ice cream, choosing seltzer over traditional sodas like root beer. The taste was quite enjoyable. The staff was friendly and genuinely helpful with my questions. However, I did find the pricing to be on the higher side for certain type of cups
Sloan's is time-tested greatness. The ice cream is tasty and a perfect treat while strolling down Clematis or people watching while sitting in the park. The workers are friendly, and the store itself is bright and whimsical. I'm yet to have a flavor I didn't enjoy, but I'm admittedly not an ice cream snob. So my tastes may be less discerning. As a note for parents, there are a lot of little humorous candies and gifts on prominent display that are not intended for children (profanity and/or sexual innuendo). So you may need to avert their eyes, or perhaps your own. Overall, another good trip.
A lot of choices! Ice cream Is okay def on the more pricier side. Honestly I get paying for the experience and location the reason for the low rating was the staff. They were rude. They have several options and made a comment because we asked to sample it. We don't go over board we had 1-2 samples each. There's no signage regarding sample limits. They weren't packed it was just our group in there so I'm not sure why they were rude we each got something.
Delicious ice cream. It's on the pricy side. I also got the pick your own candy bag. Some of the candies tasted old and stale. The line was longer. Service was slow
Sloans is always a fun treat. We brought the whole family. My pistachio waffle cone was the perfect touch to my day. The staff is always friendly and organized and of course sloans is one of the cutest shops in downtown West Palm. The aesthetic is more than photo-worthy. A must go for locals and tourists alike. We love it!
We stopped at this ice cream shop while visiting Downtown West Palm Beach. It was open at night, so it was a sweet ending to dinner. It's a bit pricey, but the ice cream was good. Not amazing, but good. I ordered butter pecan ice cream that was around $10; it was very sweet. Service was okay. They were busy, so just to the point. It's a quick snack to grab and sit by the street.
Iconic West Palm Beach location! This cute store has all the sweet treats you are looking for. Ranging from ice cream, cookies, donuts, shakes, and a huge unique assortment of candies. Definitely was the perfect spot to stop by as you stroll along the peaceful WPB waterfront.
After dinner at a West Palm Beach restaurant, we wandered over to Sloan's Ice Cream. Yes, it is the hot-pink ice cream parlor with the see-through bathroom door. Sloan's known for its signature range of sweets and treats. Sloan's been on Clematis Street in West Palm Beach for as long as I have been in Florida. Their ice cream has always been good, and their location is perfect. One can try many flavors before choosing what you want to buy. But of course, I don't think you can try all the flavors the store has to offer. The service is wonderful, and the hot-pink ambience is interesting enough to attract you to wander into the Ice Cream Parlor.

Any kids dream ice cream shop! Playful decorations and plenty of nostalgic candy and toys. Sloan's offers a variety of flavors and combinations to cones and Sundaes to shakes and floats. Great sampling any flavor you wish to try but wish they provide more service with a smile as our server was kind of dry with a straight face. We had a milkshake which tasted nice but wish they would provide bigger straws to enjoy it in full. Shake was chunky based on the flavor we picked and a normal straw given was ineffective trying to enjoy the milkshake. A spoon was needed and ruined the milkshake experience. Overall, lovely and attractive ice cream parlor that's fun and exciting for the family and kids of all ages read more
Really hard to miss this dreamy pink Ice cream and candy parlor! Sloan's located in Clematis is one dreamy Princess like spot where you walk in and everything is Pink and vibrant . The colorful chandeliers are totally the focal point. Nice smell of freshly baked cookies the minute you walk in. Spot was not so busy and we were helped right away. The lady assisting us was not as friendly as the guy at the baked goods section. Did not catch his name but he was very attentive. We asked to try some of the ice cream and decided for a strawberry/chocolate milk shake at the end. The milkshake was really thick kinda hard to drink through the straw so we asked for a spoon. Tons of chocolate chip chunks on the bottom. Great store to bring your kids. There is seating outside very cute pink tables as well. read more

Such a cute place! We had the birthday cake ice cream on the bun. It was very tasty. However, their peanut butter cookie was out of this world!!!!!!!! read more
This is more than just an ice cream shop! They had incredible looking cookies, brownies, candy, gummies by the pound, and tons of toys. We stopped in for ice cream after dinner at a nearby restaurant. The line was long but they had at least 4 employees taking care of everyone quickly. We didn't wait more than 5-10min before we were enjoying our ice cream. I went with a sundae that included 3 different flavors (cookie dough, mint chocolate, and strawberry) of my choosing and I could pick a dry topping (snickers) and wet topping (caramel). The ice cream was all delicious and the cookie dough literally had giant pieces of cookies in it. Overall, we loved our dessert and the staff was great. read more
This was the best Sloan's location we've been to yet! The service & friendly reception we received from the 2 guys working today was exceptional. We've been to at least 2 other locations, and is the best by far! I appreciate the smiles and friendly reassurance the one guy gave my 3 year old when she dropped the napkin holder. He was sweet. The location is clean and well organized! So much fun stuff to indulge. And of course, the ice cream with all the rich flavors was on point. My favorite is anything with nutella! Just wish there were some sorbet-type flavors, for then I'm not in the mood for cream-based. I know they'd do it right, too! This is the spot for hat super sweet tooth for sure! read more

Walking into Sloans off the script of downtown clematis West Palm beach the atmosphere seem to be uplifting and very upbeat. It is super busy and fill with customers from the front door all the way to the back of the business. The Line is always wrapped around the restaurant and back out the door with little to no organization by the employees at all. Most of the staff are young men who laugh and play instead of engaging with customers and our services. The business is not well kept and is always short staffed. Which creates in my strongly opinion a lot of the congestion and traffic issues the restaurant has. My experience was very poor and am very disappointed. I came with a small group of friends we were not greeted because the employees were business joking around with each other. We hopped in line to be serviced and waited 15 mins in line for services. Once we asked for a taste test for some of the different favors the staff member assisting Us gave Us a nasty face. He did not have any recommendations when we asked what there best sellers were. When we finally got our ice cream it had additional topping that we never asked for. After the long wait we were frustrated and had to wait an additional 5 mins for them to remake the order. The cashier even tried over charging Us for toppings we never requested and when we brought the issue to his attention he was unapologetic and rude. Over all this restaurant has a great concept and it is in a great location, but needs a lot of work on Customer Service cleanliness and employee training read more

Always delicious ice cream flavors. The Tracy's Scrumptious Pretzel is definitely my favorite. Tons of different flavors to choose from, plus different cones. They also have cookie ice cream sandwiches and milkshakes. The inside is super fun and has a bunch of different gifts you can buy. Great spot in downtown Clematis for ice cream after dinner or just something to cool you down in the Summer. No indoor seating, but they have a small outdoor patio. read more

If you want a fun and memorable ice cream experience then Sloan's is the place for you! If you have a big sweet tooth, this place will definitely satisfy your needs and cravings! From candied apples, cookies and other treats, not to mention the ice cream!!! This time, I decided to split the sundae with my kids. It comes with three scoops and toppings which was perfect for the three of us. We ordered strawberry, chocolate and dulce de leche as our flavors, with fudge and oreos as the toppings. Tons of nostalgic and hilarious toys line the walls of the ice cream parlor. Just browsing around is an experience all in itself! read more

We love Sloan's so much that we went here 4x in 4 days. $8 for two scoops. The raspberry chocolate chunk, mint chocolate chunk, amazing chocolate chunk and cookie dough are all amazing. They specialize in adding chunks of dark chocolate to ice cream and they don't skimp on the chunks! read more
I love Sloan's. They opened their first location in West Palm Beach in 1999. They now have other locations including City Place, Mizner Park, Doral, and Lauderdale by the Sea, and this one on Clematis Street. Parking is horrible here but since I was already parked in the city garage I just walked over. I found myself here for a pick me up after a horrendous brunch. Sloan's never disappoints. I love the pink candy colored interior and their painted ceiling. Besides ice cream they sell novelties and candy. A waffle cone with one scoop of my favorite snickers ice cream was $8. I don't even really like the candy bar but the ice cream was chock full of chocolate, caramel, and peanuts, so delicious! You can eat at one of their tables or sit in the park across the street. When you are in need of a sweet treat you can never go wrong with this ice cream shop. read more

For years, my daughter has loved visiting Sloan's. This charming ice cream shop offers a wide variety of gourmet flavors that will satisfy any sweet tooth. But that's not all they have to offer! Sloans also carries an assortment of unique treats, trinkets, and even gag gifts. Depending on the location, these can range from silly and innocent to a bit more daring. (LOVE the pot holders!) If you're in the mood for some lighthearted fun and have a sense of humor, Sloans is the perfect place to visit. read more

Great place!! Loved the entirety of this ice cream and whimsical decor shop. I made me feel like a kid. Absolutely beautiful, we ordered ice cream and it was Devine. I would definitely come back once in this area . It's Definitely a Reimagined shop. read more
What a great little spot for ice cream and candy of all sorts. Their specialty is obviously ice cream. While not inexpensive the taste was worth it. I enjoyed the incredible vanilla and the coffee bean in a 2 scoop waffle cone. My fiancé had coffee bean and banana chip. All the flavors looked delicious. Fortunately plenty of help available, our party of 4 was handled pretty easily. I recommend this highly! read more
