We had our patio cover installation done back in January 2022 with Value builders. We kicked started the process in 2021 and throughout the design ,consultation and ordering process, Bernadette and team were responsive, communicative and transparent with the whole process. We had a mix up in colors at installation time and that was quickly resolved to our satisfaction as well. I mention all this to note that a true testament to a company and its values is how they react and step up when things dont go smoothly or as expected and the Value builders group and its team did not fail to deliver. The installation was clean, professional and efficient by Diego and team. What is more impressive is their responsiveness and support after the install. I haven't had too many issues, but on occasions i had a question about remote setup or fan control, Diego was always quick to respond. Almost unbelievably quick and helpful in this day and age where everyone cares about the first sale and if at all there is any support after the fact, they bury you with an army of impersonal chat bots and nonsensical automated menus in the hopes of having you give up (American Home shield is a shining example of this apathy). During the pandemic, we reached out to Value Builders as a referral from a friend to build our sunroom. My mother had recently retired and wanted to expand the existing footprint of her home. Dan, Jason, Bernadette and the rest of their team certainly delivered. At the time, they had a showroom available for us to visit in Hayward to check out their designs. No sales pitches, no pushy tactics. Just an easy going bunch and when we finally decided to move forward they were nothing short of professional. We had a bit of a permitting issue after the completion of the project and Bernadette stepped in right away to offer guidance and quickly resolved our issue. We would not hesitate to contact them again and definitely recommend that you do business with these fine folks. I don't write reviews but I'm so impressed by the sunroom Value Builder did for my house that I feel like I owe them a great review. The initial consultation with Ash was efficient and pleasant. They used technologies to streamline the meetings, the video recorded explanation of the engineering plan, and the quote. Price was very fair and competitive. Communication with every staff member (Bernadette, accounting) was clear and effective. When it comes to the final installment, Diego and his team did an amazing, meticulous job. They worked for a week under high heat but they stayed cheerful and seemed enjoying what they did. They were a joy to be around. The result: they turned an unused space into a beautiful sunroom with soaring high glass ceiling. I can't thank these guys enough for their hard work and professionalism. Our outdoor space is finally being utilized thanks to Value Builders! From my initial email, Dan Crisp was prompt, professional and proactive. The Palmiye Skyroof Prestige is what we decided on and are so happy. In San Francisco, having full environmental control is essential. To have louvers that collapse and open with the touch of a button on the remote control, as well as, controlling the perimeter lighting makes our exterior space feel like a private club. We can't recommend working with Value Builders enough, it has been such a pleasure working with them and we are so thrilled with how the TruView looks in our backyard!! They were very communicative throughout the entire process and did a great job of keeping us informed of the status of our project. Everyone that we interacted with was incredibly courteous, professional, and hard-working. The salesperson (Erza) was very helpful in walking us through the different options that we could consider for our backyard. The project management team (Diana) kept us informed and updated on the progress of our project. They even suggested video phone calls with the engineering team for the questions that we had on the schematics and final designs (which we really appreciated). Finally, the installers were so efficient, nice, and hard-working and I can't recommend them enough. The final product was well worth the wait. The finest moment for me was the day after it was installed it rained pretty hard that night. Got a quote then decided to go with them shortly after visiting their showroom which I'll admit is quite nice and they were unresponsive (and I waited days). I followed up twice (after waiting days each time) to ask about next steps and it seemed weird as if I were the one selling something and not them. We found an amazing contractor (not Value Builders) and they got the job done very quickly. I'm still unclear about what went wrong but either I got a crappy salesperson or they just don't care about having business. read more

We started with David in September of 2019 to design and construct a pergola. Dan and David came out to our house and helped us design the perfect structure given our weird configuration. We were so excited! And then the pandemic stalled all activity. We waited months for the original materials and then Dan and David decided we would wait no more and they found a new manufacturer. We trusted their judgement and decided to continue with the project. A few months later we were notified the materials were ready to be delivered and the pergola built. Emmanuel who came here to set the footings was fantastic and Diego and Tory who actually built the structure were phenomenal. Diego is a master builder. I watched him put together this very custom piece with no instructions from the manufacturer. It was truly amazing. He is a perfectionist and our structure is more than we had hoped for. They have turned a previously unused space into the center piece of our yard. If you are having any hesitations about this company don't. Let me start by saying I LOVE my new sunroom! From the initial meeting with the owner and 2 of the senior design builders to the completion of the sunroom, I have only positive feedback to report. The professionalism, talent and quality workmanship Value Builders Group offers is top notch! High praise to Dan, the design and project manager and to his team led by Jackie & crew , Mason and Eddy. Kudos to Jackie who went above and beyond to replace a faulty doorbell. I have to also give credit to Gerardo and Frankie who constructed a solid foundation for the sunroom. Although there were snags with the city permitting/ inspection process & CoVid lockdown, once the work began it was a matter of weeks to see the sunroom take shape in full glory.
