I went in to the Roseville location to try and get my bridal set repaired. To my surprise they dont want to take responsibility. I appreciate Javier taking the time to speak with me and offering a discounted repair. To clarify, Javier is the sales representative at your Roseville, California, location. However, I respectfully declined the offer to pay $200 toward repairs. I do not believe I should be responsible for any portion of the repair costs when the damage occurred while my ring was being handled by employees at the milpitas location. When we brought my ring into the milpitas store, a younger indian gentleman assisted us and handed it to the jeweler, whom I recall being an older gentleman. While the ring was being handled, the jeweler dropped it on the floor and stepped on it. The employee who was a lady in charge immediately took charge of the situation and reassured us that we should not worry, i believe she is part of management. She specifically advised us that, if we were no longer comfortable having the ring handled by that jeweler at the Milpitas location, we could take it to another Valliani Jewelers location to have it sent out for inspection and repair, and that the work would be handled at no charge. This was a significant and expensive purchase. My husband purchased this bridal ring set in 2019, and the ring has substantial financial and sentimental value to me and my family. We brought the ring to your store for what we understood to be a routine inspection and checkup and entrusted your employees to handle it with reasonable care. I am particularly concerned that I am now being told that the incident cannot be confirmed because it was apparently not documented in your system. The absence of an internal record does not establish that the incident did not occur. We were present when the incident happened, were reassured by your employee at the time, and were specifically told that we could have the ring serviced at another location at no charge if we were uncomfortable proceeding with the jeweler involved. Aside from that my husband was told during the time of purchase that any incident like this would be covered. I have never had to deal with this at any other jewelry shop we have bought other valuable pieces at kays and never been treated this way. It is not reasonable for the burden of an apparent lack of internal documentation to be placed on the customer, particularly where the customer relied upon statements made by your employee at the time of the incident. We entrusted Valliani Jewelers with a valuable piece of jewelry, and we expect that property to be handled with appropriate care. I hope Valliani Jewelers will take this matter seriously and resolve it fairly and professionally otherwise we are willing to take further action because we feel confident in the fact that we are being treated unfairly. My request is simply that my ring have the missing pieces replaced and restored without requiring me to pay for damage that occurred due to the carelessness while the ring was in the care of your store. The way he treated me over the phone made me feel belittled, and started comparing me to his wife, saying that if it was his wife she would have acted a different way than I have. I purchased a diamond ring for over $5,500, and just one year and two months later, the center diamond fell out -- with no accident, no impact, and no warning. I only noticed it hours later when I looked at my hand. As you can see in the photo, the diamond simply fell out. I've had rings for over 10 years that I wear daily, and nothing like this ever happened. When I went back to the store, they didn't offer any real solution or responsibility. Instead, they told me they could give me a "full credit" -- but only if I buy another ring and spend at least $3,000 more. This is extremely disappointing and feels like a trap. After already spending thousands, I'm being asked to spend thousands more? They also blamed me for not coming in every 3 months for maintenance, claiming it's my fault for not checking and tightening the diamond settings. Yet even if I had, they said they don't offer any warranty on diamonds. That says it all. Their prices are extremely high, the quality is poor, and their customer service is unacceptable. I will absolutely never return to this store and I strongly recommend others stay away. If I could give zero stars, I would -- even one star is too generous for this experience. read more

I was insulted by the middle-aged female Asian staff. I said I wanted a bigger carat size and she raised her eyebrow. She said if I can't afford it, there are installment plans. I reassured her there's no need; I will pay it once and in full. I also asked for the size ratio and she said "why? You're not going to buy it anyways". My household income is $300k. It was the worst customer experience I've ever had shopping for a ring. I felt so insulted that I got up and left. BAD EXPERIENCE. Valliani Jewelry is in my opinion, a scam. The prices of the jewery are set to extreme amounts. $20,000- $60,000 but Sell for fractions of the cost. I bought a tennis bracelet for $3,000 and was told that it has a trade in value that will never change. Today I went into the store in Livermore, I was able to talk them down on a piece of jewelry that was listed for $30,000 down to $10,000, then down to $3,300. I then told them that I want to trade in my bracelet on the new one. They told me that I had to buy something for double the price of what mine is worth. They had just told me that the bracelet was worth double the price of mine but now that I had talked them down to $3,300 it's not worth that much. Shady, scam. read more

This was by far the WORST experience I've ever had with any retailer. Last Saturday, I purchased a ring that was supposedly a 1.03-carat diamond set in 18-karat gold for nearly $4,000. However, the receipt only vaguely stated "18KG Ring" with no mention of the diamond or its specifications. When I questioned this, the staff claimed the code on the receipt could be searched for all the details. When I got home and checked, the code led to NOTHING--no information on their website or the manufacturer's site. I went back on Monday to pick up the ring and asked for clarification. They dodged my questions and refused to provide any documentation to confirm the diamond size or quality. When I asked for the specifications to be printed on my receipt, they outright denied my request. When I explained that I couldn't take the ring home without proper proof of what I purchased, they flat-out refused to process a refund. The manager was shockingly rude, stating that if I left the ring behind, they'd "drop it in lost and found." This is beyond unprofessional--it's borderline fraudulent. They took my money and refused to provide the basic proof of what I paid for. Save yourself the frustration and NEVER shop here. They don't care about their customers or their credibility.
