We used this company to address some disease and maintenance on our fruit trees. The arborist came out quickly, was knowledgable, prepared a proposal, and had the work done quickly. Everyone was quick to respond and easy to work with, and the price was reasonable. Better experience than with other competitors. read more

I absolutely cannot recommend this business to anyone in the east valley area. I have multiple queen palms that need trimmed, so I called them up on Wednesday and requested a quote/estimate. The person on the phone said they'd call me on Thursday and set up a time on Friday for someone to come out to the property to provide the estimate. They took my phone number and everything! Well, it's now Friday and I've never been contacted by them, nor did I receive any estimate! How is it so hard to get someone out to give an estimate?! I am willing to trow money at them to get these trees taken care of and they can't even be bothered to give a single phone call back? They can't be bothered to provide an estimate?! WOW! What a sham of a company! Total SCAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!! read more

Valley Tree Care - Can't even get them to give me a quote! They never showed up! Completely unprofessional! - Tree Services Near Me - Phoenix, Arizona

They did a fantastic job. Showed up on time, were attention to detail throughout the process. They asked if there was anything else they could do at the end of the job. All workers were AMERICAN CITIZENS, licensed, bonded. They cleaned up at the end. I am going to use them again in the fall for another big job. Bravo! read more

Attn: Homeowners Beware! We had a recent visit from this company last month from a "pleasant" salesperson identified as an "Arborist". He quoted the trimming service of (3) trees and clean-up for $1500.00 and then asked for a Credit Card to reserve a "Booking Date" (I complained, saying we pay our bills). My wife and I have a stealer credit rating and reside in a Million-dollar home in the Anthem Country Club, yet he persisted in demanding this CC for booking. I promptly reported this disagreement to the main office, asking that Mr. Schmidt (Owner) be involved. The owner's response was "If I'm serious about my Tree Care, I would not complain so much!". This SAME process happened a few years ago with the company, Trees for Needs, and it took months to remove an Unauthorized Charge on our CC after a terrible job trimming the same trees. To wrap this up, we found another tree service (our " mow and blow" landscapers) that completed the job within 2 days for Less Than Half the price. Careful with ANYONE asking for a Credit Card prior to ANY work performed! Sincerely, Dave and Dianna M read more

My trees were infected with mold and some died quickly. Ben from Valley Tree Care came out and set up a soil replenishing program and spraying to kill the mold. All the trees he thought could be saved were--some beyond help, sadly. I cannot tell you how exciting it was to see my grapefruit tree bare fruit!! My lemons were beyound plentiful and all trees look magnificant! The iron in the soil is a problem out here, and I learned a lot, too from Ben. Although expensive, they saved me THOUSANDS of dollars if I had to replace these beauties! THANK YOU BEN!! Yes, exceptional care and attention to my trees!!!! read more

Ben came out to give us a free estimate on the work we need to have done to save our Mesquite tree. There are a lot of tree care companies in AZ but after researching, we made the decision to have our Mexican Palm in our front yard cleaned up by Valley Tree Care. It was absolutely the right choice. They educated us to our needs, provided us with an estimate right away after coming out, arrived on time to service our needs and did an amazing job! But most of all, the two young men who arrived were kind, courteous, professional, quite educated and above all patient with us! Honestly I was very surprised :-) our tree looks amazing and we will refer this company in a heartbeat to others! Actually... I already have :-) I posted photos on Facebook and shared with our neighbors and friends! Thank you so much for your kindness. We will definitely use you again when the need arises! read more

Recently, Valley Tree Feeders planted a Texas Laurel Tree in my backyard and removed another tree that died. Both were handled with professionalism and easy work. Currently, the Texas Laurel is about to experience its first summer in AZ, but Valley Tree feeders has been checking on it to make sure the small tree is thriving and that I'm not overwatering which is my constant worry. A month ago they treated my palms and I'll eventually have them come and feed my lemon tree before the AZ heat hits. read more

Knowledgeable and reasonable. Best tree care in town and I got 6 estimates. I will definitely use them again

I had my date palm trimmed yesterday July 10th. I had used the same company last year and thought they did a good job. That's why I used them this year as well. However, after finishing the job I gave a check of 250 dollars to one of the guys. Today, I get an invoice saying that I didn't pay. I'm livid. I don't recommend this business ( Valley Tree Care) to anyone. They appeared to be in a hurry and I had to inspect their work and had them redo more trimming and skinning of my date palm. Needless to say I am not happy!!!! read more

Kerry recently stopped to look and my citrus and palm trees to recommend treatment. He is the first honest to God arborist I have spoken to in eight years that I would hire. He was extremely knowledgeable, thorough and listened very well. He made the recommendations in writing for the technician to follow when the tech arrived two days later. It seems clear to me that Valley Tree Feeders is doing business differently. I never felt confident that the techs who previously did the assessment really knew what they were doing. OK. Tech arrived two days later and immediately gave me his opinion of what needed to be done, that differed from what Kerry and I had discussed. I politely ignored his opinions. Prior to this visit, VTF always sent the tech out to recommend and treat at the same appointment. I was a little put off this time that I needed to make two appointments, one for an assessment and one for treating. But I went with it. Makes SO MUCH MORE SENSE to send in the top gun, Kerry, out for the consultation, spending as much time with me as he needed. And send the tech out to implement Kerry's recommendations. Keep it up VTF, you are going to be the best in the Valley if you continue this practice. Kerry is top notch. read more

One of my palms "died" They sent a rep who is an arborist who assured me the tree was not "savable" and more importantly that it would NOT infect 2 trees near it. Additionally, they assured me that they had adequate insurance as near the tree was a pool, fence and patio. The tree crew was very professional, and the stump removal crew was also. Excellent experience! read more

I hired Valley Tree Care to do a heavy proper tree pruning. The climber Robin knew exactly what he was doing. He did a fantastic job cleaning up the tree that had been ignored for a lifetime. The grounds crew Braulio and Julio worked side by side without skipping a beat. They worked well together and did an excellent job of clean up afterwards. All three men were polite and professional, quick and efficient. I speak from experience having owned a tree and lawn care business on the east coast before moving to the valley and I know how a crew should work together and what is expected out of a proper tree trimming and Robin delivered. If you need tree work ask for Tree Truck #2. By the way...the price was spot on. read more

The arborist did a fine job of identifying the issues with my trees and palms. I have used them before. Highly recommend!

Sheldon and his crew did a fantastic job on our trees! We have two live oak trees that were overgrown and limbs needing removed. One tree has and infestation that they are also treating, in order to keep it alive and healthy. Sheldon was professional and the work was done timely. The price was good for all that needed to be completed. We will be using Valley Tree Care in the future for all of our tree needs! read more

Had them come out and evaluate my tree but never received a quote even after requesting it more than once. So went through someone else.

Got a quote in November to prune a lemon tree for this spring. Charged me a ridiculous $350 to do the job for one tree, cut maybe 15 small branches... When the pruners arrived they spent no more than 20 minutes trimming the tree... 20 minutes of work and then unapologetically charged $350 dollars. I guess I expected differently because I had regular landscapers trim the tree, along with the rest of the backyard, and wanted to see what "professionals" would do. And again... They trimmed the same parts for more than 3x the price... for one tree... My fault for thinking they would do anything differently but very unethical and definitely price gouging to charge that price for 20 minutes of work. Will not go back to them again. You will also be called several times a month for other services after you do one service... just beware and shop around for other quotes... read more

Would not recommend this company. They cut 2 trees down for me and didn't have enough room in their truck to remove it all. This was done on a Friday. They said they would be back on Monday. No show. I made numerous calls to them with no results until after 4 pm. Another crew came Tuesday morning and cleaned up. They returned a few weeks later to do a neighbor's palm tree, but had to use my driveway to remove it. Yet again another mess. Water bottles thrown under a tree in the yard. On top of all of that , before the work was done to my satisfaction they debited my account for full payment. Without my okay. DO NOT USE THEM read more

The VTF team has been a pleasure to work with. We have a 1 acre lot with many different kinds of trees. They did a great job shaping our complex mesquite trees, large pineapple palms, and numerous Tipu and citrus trees. Overall, things looks much better and we should be good into next year. Their lead arborist really knew what he was doing and was a pleasure to work with. read more

I regret using Valley Tree Feeders. I had two citrus trees that were alive and I was looking for ongoing support to promote continual health, but what I got was two dead trees after their chemical treatment. Spoke to Jeffery regarding yard work and landscaping. Initially things went well, but then the communication went silent. Workers came to do work but the work was left incomplete. For example, plants that were slated to be removed were hacked but not actually fully removed. Also, one of the tree installations was planted in the incorrect place. Jeffery came back to look over the work and agreed that it wasn't what we initially agreed upon. Despite this, he blamed the other crews and took no responsibility for the lack of oversight. I was told multiple times by multiple people that they would notify their management and I would receive a call back within a day or two, but it has been weeks and I have yet to receieve a call or have the work fixed. They have my money so it appears they take the money and run without any care for quality. It's a very poor value as the work isn't worth the hassle of getting it done. I was hopeful given the other positive reviews but now I am having to eat the cost to have another come in to get the work done properly. I'll send over the invoice but am not optimistic that I'll hear anything back. I did give one star for the irrigation work as that was done professionally and was well communicated. The rest of the work was done in a manner that pushed sales over quality by people who now remind me of stereotypical used car sales people. I definetly got a lemon. I don't normally post reviews and tried to give a good faith effort to let them contact me back, but unfortunetly I have been driven to post this based on the negative experience I had. I hope this helps them to improve and understand clients are actual people, not just commodities. read more

My queen palm trees really took a beating during 2019-2020. One of them had a fungus or something and had long had a deformed crown and quit growing. We determined that one couldn't be saved, but the palm by the pool had quit sprouting new fronds and I really didn't want to lose it. Valley Tree Feeders came out and treated it and advised me of a better watering schedule to get through last year's extreme heat. It took several treatments and some patience but after looking dead as a doornail over the winter, in April it started to sprout and now looks terrific and healthy.
