Came out the next morning and took down two trees for us! Appreciated the speedy reply and service! read more

Good response time and the work was done well. Clean up was excellent and the palm trees look better than before. They're not the cheapest but they're not the most expensive either. I'd rather pay more for quality work anyway. Check 'em out! read more

The crew from Roy's Trees did such an excellent job clearing out some tree stumps I had. There are no signs of the trees, and they cleaned up so nicely afterwards. And the price was most reasonable! I can't more highly recommend the work they do and their responsiveness in providing service. We will definitely be calling them when it's time to trim the many trees in our yard! read more

Very professional operation. We had to remove two mature Chinese Elms in our yard. Roy had previously trimmed them for us. We were so happy we called them when time came to remove them. Roy's crew worked efficiently and cleaned up really well. They also ground the stumps below ground level and covered with the surrounding gravel. You couldn't tell there had been trees there. They cleaned away all the shavings. read more

Don't recommend. I did not go with Roy's Trees because after pictures were requested, on Monday August 31st, and I sent picture and video someone was to come look next day and give me a quote. I can't remember name given so not sure if Roy or someone else, but I never heard from anyone after that. I don't even know if tree was looked at, it's in front yard so I didn't need to be home. It's Tuesday Sept 8th as I write this and still nothing from them. I don't think it takes a week+ to text or call and give a quote to trim up one tree. After reading 5 star reviews I thought I'd probably go with them, but not now. Also won't be Tree Solution Pros cause they did same thing. I've got someone else, myself and my son. If a company wants business and they contact you when you put request on Yelp I sure would think they'd be better business people. Any response now will be useless. You'll say been busy and so much work you didn't get by. So too much trouble to take a minute to contact potential customer, After you ask for info? read more

Perfect each time Roy's come out to prune quick clean and polite I'll continue praise their work read more

Great communication! Easy to get a quote. His crew was fantastic. Project was completed timely and professionally. All our needs were met! Highly recommend! read more

Always wonderful work. They easily came in with a good sized crew and helped with the whole property

Called Roy this morning with a split tree from last nights storm 07/16/26. It was cracked straight down the center and luck on saving it. I was in fear of the next wave of storms to hit this evening (07/17/26) and expressed my concerns to Roy and how it could possibly damage my brick wall. Within minutes he responded and quoted and had a crew show up withing 20-30min. Response time from Roy and the very polite and respectful crew got the job done. Unbelievable customer service and price. Thank you Roy (crew) you have now been added to my contacts for future tree issues that may arise. read more

Did a nice job thinning and trimming my tree. Had two workers doing the job. Only issue was he was 45 minutes late. Had to text him to see if the job was still a go. Would use him again. read more

We have used Roys trees twice now. The first time was in Feb of 2025 to remove a HUGE acacia (over 30 feet tall) that would "creak" when the wind would blow and and an small sumac. In addition they trimmed an ash and removed a big bush. The most recent time they came (today) they removed a fallen ash due to a dust storm (8/25). On both occasions they arrived on time, did a FANTASTIC job and when they left it looked like no trees had ever been there. His prices are VERY reasonable. The first time I hired him, I received multiple quotes. This time no additional quotes were necessary since they did such a fantastic job the first time I hired them. I would HIGHLY recommend Roys Trees and if I ever need another tree removed he is the one I will be calling. read more

Did an awesome job removing 2 mulberry trees for me at a good price. I seriously can't even tell where they used to be because they covered them up so well. read more

Overall a very positive experience. From the clear communication to having the employees on site, a very smooth process. Unlike some other contractors I have had in the past, the team not only did the job, but cleaned up as well. While pricing was only slightly cheaper than another quote, I felt comfortable going with Roy because of the clear communication of what needed to be done. Will use again if needed! read more

We had 2 large Mesquites trimmed and one large overgrown Palo Verde. Everything went well from the estimate to the cleanup! We highly recommend this company! read more

We needed a tree removed right away and Roy was able to squeeze us in. He removed a dead palm and cleaned up a few other trees while we were away from the house. We arrived home to a spotless yard and the trees looked great. His pricing is very fair. We will use Roy again and we shared his info with our neighbors too. Very happy! read more

I moved into a new home with three citrus trees, which I'm allergic to. Roy's quote was reasonable and offered root removal, so I went with them. The gentleman who came out was professional and completed the work quickly. He did such a great job filling in and moving the gravel back, you couldn't even tell there were trees there before! Highly recommend Roy's for anyone looking for professional tree removal at a great price. read more

I had a huge palm tree that I wanted taken down. Roy and his team were fast, efficient and cleaned up after.

Roy responded immediately, came out and gave me a fair estimate, then provided great service!

We chose Roy's Trees to trim our Ash tree & remove a tree in our front yard. They did an awesome job & clean up. You can't even tell where the tree (that was removed) was. We would recommend Roy's Trees for everyone who needs trees trimmed or dead trees cut down & removed. We had 3 different tree services give us estimates but Roy's Trees was the only one who showed up in person to talk to us and he was competitive in his pricing. Before pics on the left and after on the right. read more

Roy and his crew did another fantastic job. Removed another Pine tree and trimmed my Mesquite tree. Would highly recommend.

I didn't have a huge job for Roy to do, but it was done timely and well. I will be using him again.

Great response, communicated throughout initial scheduling and on day of the work. Was an extremely good price and the crew cleaned up and hauled away the limbs and debris. Will hire again! Thank you Roy & crew! read more

Roy is 5 stars. I requested a quote from several providers on Yelp to remove a rogue palm tree. I provided clear detail of the need with photos, from which Roy quoted me a great price. Because the tree was encroaching on a retaining wall and the neighbors pavers, Roy came out ahead of the job to see the roots and made me feel comfortable with how he was going to remove the tree. He and his crew removed the tree as expected and the neighbor was happy with the result as well. read more

I had received two quotes already when I contacted Roy's trees. The one thing they did that nobody else did was tell us of the dangers of topping a ficus tree in the middle of summer. Roy recommended a different path and we appreciated Roy's honesty and knowledge of how to properly care for specific trees. The crew was on time, courteous, respectful, made sure to check in with us throughout the project, and ensured that we were happy with the work. They cleaned up after themselves and were done in record time. read more

The consultation with Roy was prompt and helpful, and the work was done effectively and efficiently. The crew was friendly and professional.

The monsoon took out our beloved Palo Verde tree last night, so at 6AM this morning, I was tasked with finding a tree removal company to get it off of our lawn as soon as possible. I sent a request out to several companies via Yelp! and was immediately contacted by Roy's Trees with a price. I received about 3 generic/bot responses and also 2 or 3 actual responses from companies that said it would take a few days (to a week) to have someone "come out to give me an estimate". I'm not going to have a 15' tree in my front lawn for 2 weeks, so waiting around for an estimate wasn't an option. Roy's Trees pricing came in half of what the other companies wanted to do it for. HALF THE PRICE. He also said he could come in a few hours. When I mentioned that my daughter went down for her nap in about 4 hours, he asked if it was still raining where I was located. It was, but it was just sprinkling at that time and I let him know. He said he could come out in about 40 minutes to better accommodate my daughter's nap schedule. He arrived with another crew member and went straight to work. Of course, it started raining heavily at that point but they did not let that stop them for a minute. The got all of the branches cut down in about 15 minutes and it took about another 20 - 25 minutes for them to get the stump pulled out. After the tree was completely removed, they filled the hole back up and broom swept the entire sidewalk in front of my house and the street where there was debris from the tree. In the POURING RAIN. I couldn't believe it. These guys earned their fee and definitely my future business and I would highly recommend them to anyone needing tree service/tree removal. read more

I cannot say enough good things about my experiences with Roy's trees. First off, incredibly prompt and responsive to my inquiry. Came out and assessed the job and provided me a quote same day. That price was one of the best of the multiple quotes I got, but I really based my decision on my interaction with Roy the owner, as well as Information I found online. I was looking to have a tree removed, which had been in place for over 40 years. Roy was able to describe me the work, the timeline, and was able to fit me within a few days. His team was right on time, did the work in right around an hour, and cleaned up everything around the job site. They were super professional, and met every expectation that I had for the job. I would highly recommend this company, and plan to use them again for other tree trimming that I need on my property. read more

I cannot say enough about how great of a job these guys did. My tree was cleaned up properly in the canopy and is ready for monsoon. They took down another old tree and ground the stump down plenty deep so that I can plant something else there. They cleaned everything up, showed up on time, and were a good amount less expensive than another quote I got. I'm very happy the other company no showed on me. I've now got a new go to for tree trimming and removal. They even showed up with a big chipper to dispose of everything. read more

I can only echo the other 5 star reviews. I had a very large dying pine tree (maybe 60 feet tall). Lots of that going on in Phoenix. Couldn't be saved. I called a few tree companies. Had to leave messages for some and never got called. Another wanted a photo and emailed me an outrageous quote. I called Roy late afternoon last week. He answered the phone, was in the area, and came over about a half hour later. Gave me a competitive price for removal and stump grinding. We set up the removal for today (12/12/2024). Roy and his two-man crew arrived promptly at 7:30 AM. His crew was finished by 11:45 AM including removal, stump grinding, and clean up with all the gravel back in place. The front yard looks like the tree was never there. These are the kinds of people I like to do business with. read more
