I was in fear of the next wave of storms to hit this evening (07/17/26) and expressed my concerns to Roy and how it could possibly damage my brick wall. Within minutes he responded and quoted and had a crew show up withing 20-30min. Response time from Roy and the very polite and respectful crew got the job done. Unbelievable customer service and price. Thank you Roy (crew) you have now been added to my contacts for future tree issues that may arise.

Recap: Rick knows what he is doing in sales. Experiance matters to me. Crew arrived as promised...Yes more expensive than the local guy with a chain saw, but it costs money to move equipment give them a chance to quote. They got paid the initial cleaning fee of $900 to clean the yard. They dumped the brushes they cut…read moreinto the dumpster I rented from the city. The simple task was to upkeep the yard in the condition it got cleaned to for certain amount. They have been failing to do the job if supervision is not applied. Furthermore, when you ask them why they stopped watering the bushes for example, the answer was to pay them $25 more per visit so they hold the hose for 5 min. They do not upkeep the yard, the trees started to die, too much weed killer as well, perhaps. We never watered those bushes when we lived there, they are native to the desert and never died. The yard grows some weeds, oops, it is $120 more to spray the " extra" weeds. Because they have not being upkeeping or over spraying with weed killer, the bushes and the small trees started to die. I have a dead young palm tree as well. When you tell them to do what you have being paying them for, it is an extra $100 per visit. What have you been doing for the money you get? The bushes and small trees are the only things to maintain. Have you being mowing the rocks? When you do the " cleaning and maintenance trip" and you charge without getting the job done consistently, then ask for extra money to do what you were getting paid for and you did not do, it is a scam. $220 per hour for yard maintenance visit? I'm sorry , it's not BMW dealership service shop.

This is an unprofessional and dishonest business because:…read more - Sprayed weed killer when I specifically asked him not to - Did not complete the job with weed roots and debris still in my yard and when asked about it, he said that the chemicals would clear it in a couple of days and to call him if they were still there in 2 days - 2 days later when I texted him with pictures and he didn't respond - I'm glad I only paid him $125 of his $175 fee - Did not come on the first agreed upon date and had to reschedule Contacted Jorge on 2/24 to clear out weeds in my backyard that had overgrown and we agreed to Tuesday 3/3 afternoon for him to come. On 3/3, I reached out to him and he said he forgot to schedule me and had to reschedule me for 3/5. He quoted me $175 for: Weed removal Spray weed killer Blow out the debris Haul away everything I thought it was a lot but agreed to the price and told him that I didn't want chemicals sprayed. After he said he was done, I inspected and found weed roots still in the ground and debris everywhere. I asked him about it and he said the chemicals (that he wasn't supposed to spray) would kill everything and remove the debris. I was skeptical that the chemicals would magically clear away all the debris. He said to call him in 2 days if it didn't. I still had my doubts and asked for a $50 holdback in case the debris didn't go away. He countered with $25 and I knew then that if I called him, he simply wouldn't return my call. I stuck to the $50 and he agreed. 2 days later, the debris had not magically disappeared and I texted him with pictures to come back and finish the job, but he didn't respond as expected. Now, I have to clear the remaining weed roots and debris myself.

Full disclosure: We're not getting any discount/kickback to write this post; we just like to recognize and promote good honest (and insured!) people, especially when it's so hard to find them in this business. My husband and I have a large Mexican fan palm and an acacia that needed a lot of love/help. Hunter responded very quickly to my initial call for a quote. He walked me through everything and took the time to answer all of my questions. He's very knowledgable about trees as well as irrigiation and plants, and importantly is an ISA Certified Arborist. We've gotten numerous quotes from a variety of people over the years. Given Hunter's expertise and insurance policy, we felt the price was honest and fair for the extensive work he did at our home today. In addition to doing a great job with our trees, he cleaned up well, was mindful of our property, and accommodated our requests with a great attitude. Our newly trimmed trees look amazing, and we feel good knowing Hunter improved their health as well. We will definitely call him again for future work as needed. Important insurance note: Many people don't realize that you want an INSURED person doing this kind of work, as tree trimming incidents are all too common. You should not be shy about asking a tree trimmer to send you their Certificate of Insurance (COI); Hunter forwarded us a PDF of his within 10 minutes of asking for it. Several other "trimmers" we asked this of ghosted us (not a good sign). Keep in mind landscapers aren't allowed to go above 8 feet on a ladder, don't carry the proper insurance to trim trees, nor do they often know what they're doing to ensure your tree's health. It pays to hire an insured arborist like Hunter!
