I called, they came out the same day to give us a quote that was $1000 below the other quotes we had received. The customer service throughout the process was exceptional. A crane was involved so they needed to confirm availabiity prior to scheduling the removal date (within two weeks of the initial call). The day before our scheduled removal I got a text confirming that they'd be here in the morning. At 7am a crane, chipper and a multitude of other specialized equipment and people showed up. In less than 90 minutes, the tree was gone with absolutely no damage to yard and plants growing near the tree. The entire neighborhood turned out to watch as it was something to see. One of the workers smiled and commented about the crowd that had gathered. He recognized that it was fun for us since it was unusual but it was what he did every day. A lot of pride in that comment and doing a great job. We were billed exactly what the job was quoted for. On Schedule, On Price, Easy to Deal With, Highly Recommended.

We had four of our large trees trimmed with Mike this summer (August 2019): two large Mesquites and two medium/large Palo Verde trees. I was very nervous about hiring somebody to trim our Mesquite trees because a couple of years ago my husband hired some guys based solely on the cheapest price and they completely butchered one of our mesquite trees which resulted in a lopsided mess that I am surprised the tree survived. The old adage "you get what you pay for" is definitely true. Needless to say, I did not have them touch any other trees on our property. So, although our trees were now seriously overgrown and monsoon season was upon us, I was really hesitant to have that tree and our others trimmed. I didn't want to make the same mistake again. So, I convinced my husband to pay more and hire a tree specialist. I mean it is not a wise investment to spend 15 years growing a tree only to have it hacked to pieces because it is momentarily less expensive. In the long run, trees are valuable assets of your home and it is really worth spending more to get someone who truly knows what they are doing. I did my research on Angie's List, Yelp and NextDoor. That led me to Mike Macchiaroli Tree Company. He had other great reviews and plenty of "before" and "after" photos in which I could see that the trees still looked like trees afterwards. I had Mike and a couple of other companies come out to give me bids on the project. Mike was not cheap or the cheapest by any means, but he really knew what he was talking about when we walked our yard looking at the trees and I decided to go with him. I am so happy that I did. I can honestly say that Mike Macchiaroli is a true craftsman/arborist. He really knows his trees. He even made my large lopsided, previously-butchered tree come back to life. It is finally starting to look like a normal, healthy tree again. All of our trees look beautiful! They are healthy and thriving. I am sooooo glad that I found Mike and that we used his service! I am including "before" and "after" photos of our trees so that you can see the end results and judge for yourselves. The photos helped me immensely when I was making my decision. I would highly recommend Mike Macchiaroli Tree Company.

We requested quotes and got a response quickly. On Sight was on the lower end of quotes and James was the only person I spoke with who expressed concern for my family's safety and that with another storm coming in the tree could cause further damage to our property. I also appreciated that given the possibility of further damage, they got us in right away. James arrived when he said he would and clearly explained what he would do to remove the tree and all possible scenarios. He also gave us great information on why the tree came down and how we can prevent it from happening in the future. I was deeply impressed with his work ethic, knowledge about trees, and care for our property. I also love that for every tree On Sight removes, they plant another tree at a park or school.
