Someone came and trimmed my front yard so I asked if he would be willing to drop his price because only the backyard needed to be trimmed then he asked me to wait another two hours for him to show up. We had a brief exchange in texts, then he threw in a statement in spanish! SERIOUSLY????? I would never recommend this company. They have no respect for the homeowner's time.

Water from the pool or rain would flood the back patio. After thirty years of wear and tear in the backyard, the rocks and the dirt were sliding into the pool during rain or heavy pool days as well. The workers who did the center three trees did not trim the"pods" in the center of the trees right. Within 2 months of the trim, the pods came out fully and are now dropping dates all over our yard. They do not answer the phone or when they do, they say that they will be coming over to look at the situation and never do. My words to consumes are: Do not hire this company. For years we were with a large company and these guys were on the crew at our house. They went out on their own and we hired them. KO's Landscaping was who we decided to go with. They came out and did an estimate, sent us a quote broken down by what they were going to do etc. Really clear, really informative and great communication. There were about 6 guys who came out and they knocked out our backyard really quick. Only took them about 1.5 days. They removed our old brick border to our lawn, and installed about 350 sq ft of pavers, 750 sq ft of turf, installed 4 new plants/bushes and a lemon tree, too. We are super happy with the end result and the price we were charged. I would definitely recommend them if you need a backyard redo. They were great and I will call them again for maintenance of our turf or if we ever decide to go with any other backyard projects.

But this year when Jack came out to trim my palms, he informed me that my very tall pine tree had died due to beetle infestation. I am on a fixed income since I retired and he quoted me such a good price for a very tall tree. Originally I was going to have him cut it down mid May, but because the weather was getting hotter, I decided to have him cut it down earlier. He came out yesterday and did a good job taking it down with minimal disruption to my neighbors. I am so happy it is gone because all the needles were clogging my pool vac and filter. I couldn't even tell the tree was there before because they spread my rocks over what used to be the base of the tree. They ground out the base and it was as flat as the surrounding area. I highly recommend Greenwood Tree Service to anyone who wants a fair price with exceptional quality service. I will be using them yearly for all my tree needs.
