I talked to Jaime that night, got a quote, and the guys were out first thing the next morning to remove my tree from my yard and the street. Our sweet saguaro we had for 18 years since it was 3 feet tall finally bit the dust. We are pretty sure this heat has taken a toll on it even though we had hot summer stretches in the past. I contacted Jaime from Metal Tree Service to trim two huge Mesquite Trees in my front yard. His crew of three arrived at my house, they listened to my request, reduced the height and thinned the trees just as I wished, and they cleaned up everything afterwards. Jaime asked me to review their work after they were done, and he said they would be happy to do any additional trimming. I appreciated that he required someone to be present at the house; it indicates a good business to be sure that the customer is satisfied. I also asked him to trim my orange tree, but he indicated that it was not the right season to prune citrus trees, which I appreciated. He had the integrity to not do that job because it wasn't best for the tree-- such a honest person. I must also mention that their quote was significantly cheaper than a quote from my landscaper.
